Short Story Clarification

There’s been some confusion re the Chet and Bernie short stories. Four are available for purchase in digital and audio form: A Cat Was Involved, The Iggy Chronicles, Tail of Vengeance, Santa 365. Three were written to accompany pre-orders and are not buyable – Upper Story, The Iggy Papers, The Numbers After Two. Will they be available at some future date? Hmm.

    Greetings!

Would be great if all the short stories (digital and pre-order specials) would be published as a paperback. I would be first on line to buy a copy. Just sayin’. ;^)

    Create a good day!

    I agree with Rose.

    Good day to all.

Mmm…they say things happen in threes. I am with Wose and B.
The temperatures in Alaska were +70 when we arrived and since then
mid to upper 60’s. Grey today and a whopping 63 scheduled.
    Oh well, it is green.

This is for Plunderers who have been north for the Iditarod. Who knew Hobbit had green plants and a brick walk way and a bench? Beautiful!

Photo 2 of backyard. Once the leaves fall, the houses on the bluff above me are exposed. Thank goodness for evergreen trees:

I agree with all. If you’ve got four already out for purchase but have written a total of seven, no reason the other three can’t eventually be out for purchase too. The first four were free bonus stories with advanced purchase just like the last three were.

They’re adding up. Not sure what the conversion rate is from e-pub to a hardcover book but there are some pages there. Maybe enough to make a book if you pad it with a longer short story or two or a novella you can’t quite stretch to a full book.

    It’s something to think about.

Even though I have them I’d buy the book just to have them all in one place. And as I read, there are hints of other possible short stories thrown out by Chet’s reminiscences of past cases we haven’t heard about.

Even if it doesn’t happen now and there are more pre-order free short stories to be offered, at some point they will add up to help bad out a book.

    Just something to think about.

Freyja woke up early today, I heard her, but she was quiet (not necessarily a good sign) and I nodded off again. When I woke up again she heard me and was immediately on the bed for snuggling. Then we all got up and I let them out. I checked and found nothing ripped or torn on the floor. So I guess she amused herself with her toys. She is really adjusting to the routine of the house.

I’m willing to buy any book with Spencer Quinn’s name on it.

HOH and Hobbit: What!? HOH is there in the summertime?
Is she getting all the bargains from your rummage sale?
Your yard looks perfect for reading some Chet and Bernie (as long as the mosquitos are gone).

Dawson, we have this neat little device that clips onto our belt/waistband that makes a “bubble” of protection around us. Bye-bye skeeters. And am here since the DDD said I needed to see Alaska in the summer.

Herd of Hounds: What is that magical device? I must have one.
