Shoot The Dove!

Glad to see the writing tip “shoot the dove” attracted some interest in the comments. If I were ever to teach writing, that might make a good name for the course. (But unlikely to happen.)

Chet. Whew. I’ve been looking and looking for the “shoot the dove” reference without success. Thank you for posting this correction.

Rio: Since you brought it up. You watched the Lying Liars Lie A Lot convention? Your stomach is stronger than mine. As for me and my friends, we are all voting BIDEN with no hesitation. He has a strong qualified Vice President to back him up.

B.: see his post on August 24.

I have already made use of some of his writing tips.

Peter: have your books been translated into other languages? If so, who is responsible to make sure the translation is true to the books and yet conveyed in a way that takes in cultural differences that might impede understanding?

Rio: Moi? No. They were purchased long ago to hang on Christmas trees. Speaking of trees I hope the falling over tree is all cleaned up and you’ve found a new place to pee and all.
Did I tell you a 25 foot Maple fell over from the neighbor’s yard, grazing Mom and Dad’s front porch and blocking the front door while I was staying with them. I can relate to your discombobulation.
