Belly, I could come and visit you for awhile. Things are very confusing here nowadays. Like, I was always scolded if I wandered over near our leader’s food table. I learned to be very good and immediately go wait by my own dish which was on the floor as soon as Mom or Pop started messing with kibble.
Now what does Mom do? She took my bowl away and made me go eat off of the leader’s table. I was so afraid I would get yelled at. These 2-leggeds confuse the crap out of me sometimes.

Good news here! I will have a new pug cousin! The family was so sad to lose Cousin Emma and found a litter in Pennsylvania. The puppies are only two weeks old so I have to wait patiently, sorta hard for me.

Morning all! Zoe is going to get an x-ray of her knee and wrist today. We will know more later today about when she can put weight on her leg!
Her regular doctor went and visited her today. She is VERY pleased with Zoë’s recovery. Excellent.
I will be picking up Jesse, our go-to guy, in a few minutes.
After that, I will be doing the poop yard and rest. And rest again tomorrow. Sounds good.

Kat – look, kid- they named you as one of us. So start acting like it. No matter what the two leggeds say, you do as you wish. Then if they yell, you can either give them the “squeezed eye- screw you” look, or you can just saunter away, tail held high. Both these methods work well for us.
Admin- tell Spence to take us with him. We could show him all the great spots in South Florida. He just needs to find a good bookstore in the Keys to make his trip complete.
Bella – do try to get SOME work done in between rubbing bellies of spoiled puppies. Sheesh – dogs are SO demanding!

G & B, I am going to stay home alone, which is going to be boring. Barb interviewed a pet care giver and she thought she was pretty nice. She has been involved with 4-H Dog programs for years, and also does fostering in her home. She came to the house to meet me, and we really liked her. She will come 4 times a day to feed me and play.
Barb will be in the hospital for 3-4 days, then probably a week in rehab. After that she will go in for PT for about a month.

Bee, No we will be going thru computer withdrawal after surgery, since Barb does not have a laptop. Maybe she can talk one of her kids into giving you an update. Or maybe she will call one of the Plunderers from the hospital so they can let everyone know if she is still alive.

Rio – we aren’t going to answer any of your questions about Elementary. All we will say is that there is a bad guy, and Sherlock is out to get him, assisted by Watson. After that, you are on your own.
Barb – do you get to choose a place that you will go for rehab? If you can, now is the time to go take a look at some of the places you might want to go. Many places will also allow you to try their dining room – trust us, you want to be sure the food is edible.
We are still looking for a computer class that will teach us how to use $%^&*($# 8. Found one class – it only cost $375.00! Carp! The search continues.
Siber and Howlers – the Wrotten Kats have been giggling all day about your statement re the similarities between Sibes and Kats. They would welcome you to one of their monthly S.I.P.K.U. He is having the same symptoms and the doctors had told him to come in immediately if it started up again. He called me and said he didn’t want to go in: I explained he was. He has a friend picking him up and taking him back to the same hospital.

It does not sound like food poisoning to us if it is coming back. Barb had food poisoning once from some fish she eat and once it was all out of her system she was OK. This has been a week, so it sounds more like flu. Over 40 states are reporting epedemics of flu. Or maybe it is two unrelated things. Good that he is going back to get it checked out.

YSAS and SO are now going back to SO’s apartment. The ER wait is over 6 hours and YSAS hasn’t splorted for over an hour. This way if he gets worse he can go to the medical emergency place near SO explain the situation and then go into the ER in another ambulance.
HOPEFULLY, he will be better instead of worse!
Thank you Dr. Sam et All! Keep those thoughts and prayers headed to NYC. Even if he doesn’t need them, everyone else does.

I, Dr. Sam, say if YSAS splorts again he should go to urgent care. ERs have to do triage and he will be at the tail end of people being seen. Urgent care can do the tests to see what bad bacteria has been left in him.

So far, the evening has been uneventful as far as YSAS Watch 2013. We’ve managed to keep occupied. First, with the trip to get french fries. After we licked the salt off of our paws, Belle Starr said that she thought the ambulance was too understated and wondered how anyone would know we meant business if there was a YSAS emergency. We all agreed. She suggested bedazzling it. We all agreed. Now, the boring red and white amublance is now covered in pink sparkles and the lights have been changed to match. It looks great. You know what else looks great? Me in my EMT hat—also bedazzled.

Rio: Once it became clear YSAS wasn’t going to stay in the hospital and our access to Jello would be limited, I knew I had to make a decision in the field to get provisions. It could be a long night. This all happened while YSAS was in transport to SO’s home. Make no mistake, if YSAS is in trouble, we are all business.
