Santa’s On The Roof!

SANTA 365, that is. Today is pub date for the new C&B e-short.Here’s what Book-Splot says:
‘Santa 365’ is a great read to get you in the holiday spirit . . . and then steal away some of that cheer. With Chet’s brilliant and humorous observations and narration style, this is a read for fans of the series or new readers.

    Greetings!

Thinking on the Storyteller and the Royal Mum today.

I have not yet downloaded “Santa 365”, but I will! I just don’t know if I should read it now, or at Christmas. Decisions, decisions.

    Cool GOOGLE doodle today.

Golinka: Did you notice a couple of extra nurses when the surgery team came for the Storyteller? Belle Stare and I will stay in the OR with him. The surgeon has already been made aware of my firm but loving paw and has been informed that the Storyteller is special so he best not mess up. The surgeon was a bit surprised to find that a couple of nurses were our kind. As a result, Belle Starr and I are wearing full body fur nets. It’s a small sacrifice to stay with the Storyteller.

Dear Family – once again your pawrayers have been answered with a resounding “yes!”
The surgeon just came out and said they decided to go with a smaller procedure, that instead of removing two broken pieces, they decided to leave them in but stabilize them with a plate, more modern screws, and we think hockey tape may or may not have been involved.
The best news is that toes are wiggling. So no damage to the spinal column. The Storyteller will be walking on his own again soon!!!
In case you don’t know, woo hooing very loudly in the surgical waiting room is frowned upon. So please, if you are somewhere that won’t cause stares or calls to police, please give a top volume “woo hoo” for me
    And thanks.

Rose The decision about now or at Christmas. No problem. Choose BOTH!.

It was on my Kindle at 11:55 last night. I was in bed. I read the first two pages to MR.Staff. Laugh out Loud funny. I love Esme already! heh heh heh That is not a spoiler. (I haven’t read any further than 2 pages)

    Golinka: Woo and hoo!

More to Golinka: In addition to Belle Starr being part of the surgical team, there was also a third. The Creator was in the OR, too. The Creator was running a few minutes behind schedule what with being very busy these days.

Staff: It’s like you were in the OR, too. The surgeon didn’t batt an eye lash when Belle Starr handss him sparkly duct tape instead of a scalpel. He took my firm but loving paw lecture to heart. I like this surgeon.

To those who mentioned a Nook download problem, I had the same difficulty. I thought that there was an issue because my credit card had changed, but I re-ordered the book for download and I received an email from B&N saying that it was “Out of Stock”. Yes, it said that, and, yes, there’s a mystery I’m not sure Chet and Bernie could solve.

So, Amazon Kindle to the rescue!

I have a nook, and had pre-ordered “Santa 365.” I could not download it, so I called nook support. Because I had purchased the book with cash at a brick and mortar B&N, support told me I had to go to the store. I called the store, and one of the booksellers was kind enough to help me out. He suggested I “archive” the book. I did, thought I lost it, but it reappeared. Don’t know how I did it, but it is done. I was told that there is a new software update, but since I still read paper books, I just turned on my nook this morning…not sure about the update.

Golinka: Duly noted on the sparkles and IV drip. I don’t mean to cause alarm, but they had to take the Christmas decorations off the Storyteller for the surgery. When you see him, please tell him not to worry and that I will be by later this afternoon to re-decorate him.

Bare to the worlt! When that Damn Pixie had emergency back surgery she made the anesthesiologist and the surgeon promise to make sure she was good and out before they flipped her over and bared her backside for the surgery. I think the Storyteller demanded the same promise today. He and these Damn Pixie have matching scars and bent hardware.

Creator, Our prayer is one of gratitude, one of healing. Thank you for the Storyteller. By his existence, he is special. He is kind. He is caring. He is guided. Because of this, he is special.

Creator, thank you for holding him in your hands during the surgery. We ask the same be true for his recovery. Please be with him to mend his body quickly and properly. In the early days, please help him to sleep and heal. In the days to come, please help him to regain strength and heal. In the days far from now, please help him to improve and heal.

Creator, Pain is hard on those who love us. While you tend to the Storyteller’s physical well being, please tend to Amalia’s heart. Please calm her, please comfort her.

Creator, Thank you for the Storyteller. Please be with him, guide and direct him, watch over and protect him, calm and comfort him, help and heal him.
