Samuel Beckett Meets Vin Scully
“First,” says Spence, “we hope Texas Rangers’s broadcaster Dave Barnett is all right.”
“But this sure is a nice mashup,” Admin says. “Sometimes I think the human brain is one big mashup.”
Welcome Molly from TX, Wunya from Down Under, Yulara from Down Under, Agamemnon (just back from Troy), Cassie. Ranger Woods – please retry the upload.

Good morning, Everyone!
Bee, you’d better get baking. We have a feeling there will be a need for lots of pie today.
That mashup is a riot! We’d love to be on the air and do something wacky like that.
We got busy last evening and so we had to catch up on the goings-on of the blog just now:
First off, we love love love “In for the Night” as a title for the halter painting. One of Mom’s suggestions was “Days End” and then someone (G&BB?) suggested “End of Day” on this here blog. They were both good, but “In for the Night” gets the point across more eloquently in our (humble?) opinion. At first Andrea was going to name it “Turnout” which, while being a lovely name, just didn’t make sense for this painting. Glad that was changed. Glad…heh heh ! We love that painting so much that in our minds it is hanging here in our living room. Unfortunately, it is not quite in our budget at this moment.
Thank you Rockies fans for helping our Phils end our losing streak. Unfortunately, it will be a long time until we can climb out of the cellar it seems.
We like the cover of A Cat Was Involved too. Kat thinks the spelling is wrong.
8:57 am on June 20th, 2012
Good day to you OHs!
I wonder what kind of pie B will be making today.
Andrea’s art is just gorgeous! “In for the Night” does seem to be a much more fitting title.
The Braves took one away from my beloved Yankees last night. 🙁
Looking forward to the weekend when the Yankees play the Mets again! I think I know what the outcome of those games will be….heh, heh.
Rio in black tie and my friend Zelda are up top!
It is going to be blazing hot the next few days in New York! Yuck!
Greetings and good day to all!
Oh, almost forgot…Staff and Rebecca, hope you are feeling tip-top, if not , close to it!
9:09 am on June 20th, 2012
Good morning everyone. Agent Patsy is again up top, such a beautiful sight.
Well, it seems that the Rockies and the Nationals are both mired in a downward spiral, but the bottom has got to be somewhere soon, I hope.
Also, good thoughts and prayers for Staff and Rebecca from here in Chevy Chase.
Mom already pre-ordered ACWI, so we will have it first thing on August 14. Yeah!
And you may not believe this, but we actually have our first two tomatoes — on June 20!!!! How about that!!! They are the Bloody Butcher tomatoes — sort of smallish, but definitely fully ripe. Will report back once we have sampled them. Maybe more in the offings soon, mid-90s today and we are supposed to hit 100 tomorrow. Yuck.
Wookie

Wookie, the Bloody Butcher tomatoes…what a wonderful way to celebrate the Summer Solstice!
9:21 am on June 20th, 2012
Happy 1st day of summer. Heh, heh.

9:22 am on June 20th, 2012
Hey! Who threw that tomato?
9:24 am on June 20th, 2012
Will baseball season never end? It’s banana cream pie today.
Good morning all.
9:27 am on June 20th, 2012
It’s going into the 90s today (it’s already 82). I’m staying in the AC today.
Agamemnon: Watch out for Clytemnestra.
9:40 am on June 20th, 2012
Holy Bloody Butcher Batman! Sorry, couldn’t resist.
Masquers, Not nice. Oh, and did youse guys feel the earthquake 5.1 off of OR?
I sure hope the sportscaster is okay. It sort of sounds like Dan does when he’s off his meds.
Okay about that cover. After seriously studying that picture (around a minute) I have decided that it is the same Chet that is used in “A Fistful of Collars”. Because of the movie seat, whom ever did the photohopping had to make the grass tall behind his back. Because there is a cat involved (snicker) whomever foreshorten the distance between Chet and the cat so the cat was large enough to be seen. This makes Chet look short. (And no that isn’t a short joke)
All in all it wasn’t a bad photoshop, but has it’s problems.
One of them? WHERE IS CHET’S WHITE EAR??? Will they ever get that straight?
9:41 am on June 20th, 2012
B.Stover is now going to tell me I should have used whoever . . 5 to 1
9:44 am on June 20th, 2012
The Rockies never should have gotten rid of Jamie Moyer. They have brought this on themselves.
Banana Cream! Yum. My favorite. I’ll have mine with extra whipped cream on top.

Masquers, do you think your Weatherkat forecasting powers can sned those temps over to Philadelphia on the 4th of July weekend? Prof and I are taking a short jaunt there to see some things that we missed last year….
Melanie, I still like the cover of TDWKTM best! I loved “seeing” Chet!
Rio, “The thrill of victory, and the agony of defeat”…ABC’s Wide World of Sports
10:17 am on June 20th, 2012
Melanie!…Thats what I said last night…grunt!…Chet looks too small in the photo, or whatever it is. Why can’t they get the Covers right any more?…sniff!
10:30 am on June 20th, 2012
Bah!…I’m going back to bed…grump!
11:00 am on June 20th, 2012
Wookie, Anxious to hear about the tomatoes after your sampling. We are 3-4 weeks behind you I think. We have some golfball saze tomatoes, and all plants are now blooming. Our Black Krim, Box Car Willie and Roma will be the first 3 ripe.
Finished One Dog Night and now will be starting The Dog Who Danced today. Will have plenty of time to read later. We have to leave just before 5:00 and won’t be back for 2 1/2 or 3 hours, due to the two showings tonight. Hope we get an offer soon, it is a pain to go sit in the car for hours!
11:03 am on June 20th, 2012
Fingers crossed for you, B&M!
11:04 am on June 20th, 2012
We just preordered ACWI and AFOD. But we don’t know how to check on Amazon that our preorder went thru…it is for our Kindle.
11:17 am on June 20th, 2012
My wife did some channeling of Chet to write this blog for her library:
Welcome to the Little Detective Agency. It’s named for my partner Bernie, Bernie Little. You see, Bernie is the brains of the agency and no one can puzzle out a case like my partner, except maybe his reporter girlfriend, Suzy. I guess I’m the muscle ’cause when I get the perp around the ankle it’s “case closed.” I’m also a crack tracker, which comes in handy when our case is about finding missing persons, or elephants, or championship show dogs or movie stars. But Bernie isn’t so wise in the financial department, so we take anything we can get to keep us in food. And speaking of food, there is nothing like a great mess of bbq ribs to take the edge off-much prefer that to the usual kibble. Oh yeah, I’m a dog. Names Chet, not Chester, not Chetter-boy, just Chet. I’m big, have a great set of canines and can be really ferocious if I have to, but I love Bernie’s son Charlie-to him I’m Chet the Jet, his private pony. Bernie got me after I flunked out of K-9 school. I was passing every test with flying colors, but when it came to leaping (which is my specialty) I got diverted, mid-spring by an interesting scent. But that turned out great, ’cause I joined Bernie’s agency-and I love Bernie. We even smell a little alike. We live in the west (Arizona, maybe) and have a house right on the desert, with the backyard facing a canyon. Bernie “knows” things about me that he thinks are true, like he knows that I can’t jump the 6 foot fence around the courtyard, but I do anyway. Well wouldn’t you, if you heard the cry of a certain female across the canyon? He also doesn’t know where I’ve gone when I’m stolen or catch an irresistable scent and follow it. He usually muddles into the solution to the mystery with his superior intellect, not with his tiny nose.
Anyway, since I don’t have fingers on my paws, I’ve dictated our adventures to an author named Spencer Quinn, who also writes thrillers under the name Peter Abrahams.
11:30 am on June 20th, 2012
Terry, your wife did a great job describing Chet. Sounds just like him. Snicker…
11:35 am on June 20th, 2012
Terry: We enjoyed your wife’s channeling of Chet – A good synopsis of the story.
O.Howlers: Solved the same dilemma here by trying to order it again which brought up a confirmation message telling us we had already ordered it.
11:40 am on June 20th, 2012
Oh!…Brother!
11:41 am on June 20th, 2012
“Whoever” is the subject of a sentence; “whomever” is the object. Think of “he” and “him.” (Snicker!)
Melanie had me looking more closely at the pictures of Chet. Yes–the white tones in Chet’s fur are the same on both covers.
11:49 am on June 20th, 2012
Home again, home again. Hello everybody. Hope to catch up on the blog in a couple of days. I am sure once I skim over the baseball messages, it won’t take me long. 🙂 I also have a couple of things to add to the store so I will keep you posted on that.
Took my cat supplies to the private local pet rescue. She is full up with cats to find homes for but I resisted. However, I discovered that she is in the process of rescuing several Huskies and Siberians near Denali. The owner is an older man whose dog lot got beyond his capacities to care for them adequately (food and spaying). He has until Saturday to find homes before Animal Control comes in and confiscates the dogs. One rescue place will take 20, my local rescue said she would take the 10 pregnant females because Animal Control will just put them to sleep right away. I said that I would foster one if needed. It is going to be hard to find homes for all the dogs much less the future puppies. I never guessed that there would be puppies in my retirement.
11:49 am on June 20th, 2012
Howlers: Go to Amazon Kindle store and click on “your account.” It should list your order history including pre-orders.
11:51 am on June 20th, 2012
Thank you Bee and Oley, for adding a little humor to my morning. LOL
Just got a call from the office, they are scheduling another showing for Saturday morning. Lady from out of town with 2 horses. This is what, # 5? You Plunderers must be working overtime!!! Barb is twirling!
11:53 am on June 20th, 2012
Welcome back CHobbit. Uh-oh, Don’t tell Rebecca about the puppies. Oops. Too late.
11:54 am on June 20th, 2012
Barb, NOw we are all worrying that you will have to leave all your summer produce behind. I wonder if the garden is selling the house? BTW, how are all your herbicide damaged trees doing?
12:08 pm on June 20th, 2012
Staff, Hope you feeling tip top this morning!
All the plants and trees recovered, but they did lose some foliage. We will get to enjoy the produce from the garden for the most part. Probably any contract would take 1-2 months before we would have to move. That puts us at end of July to Sept. 1st. The tomatoes are our favorite, so hopefully we will have a chance to sample all the varieties before leaving. When we balance everything out, we will still be glad to go.
Rio asked about the chickens. We might be able to sneak a few in with us. We have 3 people who will take some of them if we end up in suburbia, which is most likely. Lily says we have to bring Peaches.
12:10 pm on June 20th, 2012
Hi everyone!
So, we are having the heat wave, AND we are getting ready for having some company in the house. So what does our beloved, but impulsive grampa do? – he dismantles the bathroom to remodel it.
sigh…..
Our company will now be staying in a lovely hotel in town, with a swimming pool and air conditioning and most important – a bathroom with all fixtures and no smell of “Kilz” sealer.
Grampa’s birthday was yesterday. Mama knew the right date, but she was off in knowing what day of the week it actually was. She ‘fessed up to Gramp. He thought it was very funny – especially since she was already planning to cook the dinner that he was going to request for his birthday. So, tonight we are borrowing Melanie’s time turner, and going back a day. Different dinner, but this time with a Belgium Chocolate Cake, presents and lots of cards!
12:22 pm on June 20th, 2012
Happy First Day of Summer to all of you that are into that sort of thing.
I sure hope nothing is seriously wrong with the Rangers announcer. There must be a physical reason for what he did rather than him just losing it mentally.
Rose, I will be cheering for the Yankees against the Mets.
Stover, Mom will let me eat banana cream pie so…BASEBALL!
Terry, Your wife did an excellent job or writing about Chet. It should encourage people to read the books.
12:29 pm on June 20th, 2012
CHarris, Welcome back. We missed you.
This is to make Spence feel better, but don’t read this Rio: The Red Sox have won 9 more games than the Rockies.
12:34 pm on June 20th, 2012
Happy belated Birthday to Grampa!
C.Hobbit: What’s that I hear? Sounds like a whole lota barking going on in your future. snicker.
Barb&Magpie: Getting closer and closer to moving day. Paws crossed.
B: Nana says to tell you your word usage explanations are much appreciated.
12:38 pm on June 20th, 2012
This is what happened with the flowers Rio’s friend sent to me. I thought they were for the living room but they first were put into the spare bedroom, where my computer is, and there they will stay.
Too pretty for words. Must send picture….heh

12:55 pm on June 20th, 2012
SiberH: WooooHoooo! You should blur over, so you can watch with me and the Prof. We have air-conditioning, and it will be nice to sit in the winner’s circle for a while.
12:57 pm on June 20th, 2012
Very pretty, Staff! And the vase is perfect with the colors of the flowers !
1:07 pm on June 20th, 2012
Funny!…I was just wondering if Staff ever got around to opening the little box filled with little flowers…heh!
1:16 pm on June 20th, 2012
The flowers look beautiful in that vase.
Terry, perfect channeling of our guy Chet. Dead on.
Siber, did you go shop for those earrings yet? We left them for you because Mom knows she can get a pair at the BDHW Event next Friday.
Happy Birthday, Grampa. Rebecca and Molly: Due to the bathroom upheaval, 3 of us will be in the same hotel so a pool party is planned following the Big Event!
1:20 pm on June 20th, 2012
Event!…So who all will be lucky enough geographically to go to the Big Event on the 29th?…snort!
1:23 pm on June 20th, 2012
Bee, Thanks for the advice. We found our preorder in “Pending Orders” in the Kindle Store.
1:23 pm on June 20th, 2012
I will pack my water wings!
1:35 pm on June 20th, 2012
Thanks for reminding me fellow Sibers and thanks for saving them for me. I’m on my way over there right now.
Rose, I really do think the Yankees will whip the Mets. You can tell the Met’s fan in your office that a friend of yours in NM will be cheering for the Yankees.
1:37 pm on June 20th, 2012
C. Hobbit Harris: Zoë got bored in retirement. She then decided to raise Newfs. We are not bored now. Crazed perhaps, but not bored.
Staff, Did you have an earthquake? Your house slants. The flowers look lovely though.
Thanks B.Stover.
Terry’s wife: Great job!
Errands done. Patsy pissed. She did not get to go. I am not leaving the house until the sun goes down.
YSAS has the audition at 4 PM. Think good thoughts.
MollyPop’s Mom, I found a teeshirt for us. Unfortunately I have no money to buy it, but here you go.
The Road To H*E*L*L Is Paved With Gluten
Going to rest now. BBL

WOO WOO I bought the earrings! Those earring would sell for so much more in one of the tourist stores in Albuquerque. They are beautiful.
The blue vase is really pretty. It would match The Hot One’s eyes.
2:06 pm on June 20th, 2012
WOO WOO !!! Your mom is going to love those earrings, Siber! And The Hot One wants to know if you can fly all the way to Florence, MA to see the BDHW with her. 🙂
2:09 pm on June 20th, 2012
Siber – ve turn back for von minute, and you flirt vith Hot Von.
Pretty vase vould match the eyes, indeed.
poo!
sniff
2:13 pm on June 20th, 2012
Fellow Sibers, I wish I could, but you see who showed up right under your post. I’m being stalked.
2:13 pm on June 20th, 2012
Ya snooze….ya lose, Natasha! heh heh heh !
2:14 pm on June 20th, 2012
I’ve been thinking about the use of “m” in “whom” (and also in “him” and “them”). It must go back to Old English which had a dative case inflection (added a suffix to indicate an indirect object). OE “who” is “hwa.” OE “whom” is “hwaem.” Modern English simply kept that distinction. So we have, “I will give the book to whomever.”
I feel better now……
2:18 pm on June 20th, 2012
And you guys are cracking me up again.
2:21 pm on June 20th, 2012
Event!…Is MollysMom going to the Big Event?…snort! …Last I read she was seriously thinking about it…gruffle!
2:30 pm on June 20th, 2012
SiberH: I’m really happy you got those earrings for your mom. They are beautiful! As far as the my boss, the Met fan, I remind him daily of the Yankee wins, and the Met loses. As he sits right across from me, he gets to see all my Yankee stuff every day, too!
2:36 pm on June 20th, 2012
Siber – ve have it on authority Hot Von is NOT natural redhead!
(information comes from certain red-head young von living at same address – she says she found empty box of Lucille Ball #4 in trash)
2:52 pm on June 20th, 2012
N-A-T-A-S-H-A !!!!! shhhhh !!!! Now I have to hide from my Meashka-Mom. Truth is that I am much more redhead than she is. Her red is so light and she has lots and lots of white. I have this striping on me that my mom kept trying to wipe off. She finally realized that it is my really truly red red hair after my baby fur sheds out. I am going to give The Hot One a run for the money when I grow up!
2:56 pm on June 20th, 2012
(vhispering – is ok little Kat. Do you really think Meashka vould let you be Flower Puppy at HER vedding? Ve are just trying to make your dream come true)
2:59 pm on June 20th, 2012
Staff: Picture perfect. No words are needed.
Rose: My dear friend, I will do my best, but cannot make any promises. As an example of indecisive reporting, this was part of a national weather-type’s forecast yesterday: “Numerical models differ on the location of the severe threat location so confidence is reduced.” This is not to say WeatherKat’s predictions are of this same unreliable variety, but none the less, believe I will wait until the day draws nigh to work out the details.
Melanie: No tremors were felt here from the quake off the coast of Oregon yesterday, however when a Google search was initiated we were directed to an End Times website.
3:15 pm on June 20th, 2012
Masquers, your weathercasts are the only ones I give credence to, and rely on most. I will await your report.
3:30 pm on June 20th, 2012
Maskers!…heh!snort!heh!…Dude, you better pack your Sax and get outta there…snort!
3:57 pm on June 20th, 2012
Rose – we grew up in Phoenix and didn’t move to Long Island until 1990, so we have morphed into the oddest of creatures – people who root for both baseball teams. Our best Yankee cred is that Bob and I were there for David Cone’s perfect game. I even used the ‘P’ word in the first inning. My son lives five minutes away from Citifield, so we’re usually on for a few Mets games every summer.
4:18 pm on June 20th, 2012
B: A little slow on the uptake this morning. Just noticed your reference to Agamemnon and Clytemnestra. Heh. Looks like one of the two-legged pals in FOC is also into Greek Tragedy.
Terry: Professor Stover will be sooo happy to have another baseball fan on the blog.
Your banana cream pie is coming right up.
5:35 pm on June 20th, 2012
We are shutting down and taking off shortly. Will check in with youse guys later to say goodnight. It’s going to be a boring few hours, but gotta be done if we want to sell.
Have a good evening everyone. BBML
6:14 pm on June 20th, 2012
I need to water the gardens . . since it is 89 degrees right now I will be waiting until 7 pm to water or maybe 7:30 pm. It will then 80 degrees.
YSAS had a great audition. Now the waiting begins. He is having dinner with someone who has something to do with “Damages”. Couldn’t really hear what he was saying because the traffic and noise level was unbelievable. Gotta love NYC!
Oh, he has 20 zombies coming and a few more have signed up for the July 1st promo shoot. He will have his zombie hoard.
6:20 pm on June 20th, 2012
Terry: My dad was a loyal Yankee fan, and so his kids grew up to be loyal fans as well. That is so cool that you had the opportunity to see Cone’s perfect game!!
I have always been a big fan of Cone’s from KC, the Mets, the Yankees, and even those evil Red Sox. The truth is, is I was a big fan of the Mets during the 80’s. They had some team then! My hubby, the Prof is a Queens boy, and a fan of the Mets. (whispering) truth be told, I am one of those people who roots for both teams…..got to support the New York teams! Have a great time at the game this weekend!
6:57 pm on June 20th, 2012
Rio – I will be able to make it to the big event. Putting this all together hasn’t been easy. The distance is farther than I can handle, but I’m going to make it work. Sam’s Mom and Girl wanted to come but they both have to work.
On Thursday, I will drive the 60 miles to Sam’s. Then Friday morning I will drive the 6+ hours to Mass. What makes this work is that I won’t drive back until Sunday because it’s just too much back to back. Saturday afternoon I will maybe drive an hour or so and then finish the trip to Sam’s on Sunday. Monday I will drive back home to ski country. Whew!
7:18 pm on June 20th, 2012
Mollypop’s Mom, I am glad you are getting to go, but that is a long drive.
Kat, you should be nicer to your big sister. She has taught you everything you know…or rather she has tried to each you.
7:38 pm on June 20th, 2012
Molly’s Mom: Whew! That is some trip!! That was the main reason why I could not attend…it was difficult geographically to manage. Also, it is difficult at times to take time off due to the nature of my work.
Have a great time, and a safe trip, and give our star, Rebecca a big shout- out!!
7:39 pm on June 20th, 2012

Drive!…My friend had asperations of driving the 6 hours to Salt Lake City tomorrow to see ole whatshisname…grunt!…But that fell through real quick back in May. The one person who would go with her decided to get some elective surgery done and it is taking longer to heal than normal – plus she used all her time-off…grumble!…So I still won’t get all of my books signed by Spencer and Admin…wheeze!…Is anyone else going to Salt Lake City tomorrow other than the Man himself?…wuffle!
7:45 pm on June 20th, 2012
Rose!…I like hearing about your baseball history…snort!…Everyone has to have some Roots when it comes to the game…heh!

dateline – June 29 2012
The small city of Northampton was surrounded by National Guard troops, HazMat teams and other emergency personnel as a false ala was triggered by a group of women laughing and talking at sonic boom speed and decibel.
Fire chief Duggan and police chief Sienkewicz reported that ground zero for the noise was a swimming pool at a local hotel where a handful of Snowhook Supporters had gathered to eat cheesecake and celebrate.
When asked to comment on the noise level and exuberant partying, one celebrant threatened to turn loose her “pack”, another told reporters “don’t make me get poufy, you fuzzbutts” and the ringleader of the party, a lovely young woman wearing a pink Stormy Kromer hat simply stated, “mumfpff” due to the exorbitant amount of cheesecake stuffed in her cheeks.
Police and emergency personnel decided to withdraw when a large Pink Bulldozer started revving up. Hotel staff was left to deal with the situation, which they wisely decided to simply ignore.

Whew, 80 degrees! Humature (is that what it’s called?) is 85. Gnats and mosqatoads abounded but I got the gardens watered. For some reason none of the pack came out to help me.
This is how I feel about the upcoming storming of FL MA.

Dognabbit, I tried to put three up but it didn’t work. Oh well, here’s just some of how I feel.

We were concerned about Molly’s Mom making the trip by herself. That woman is impossible. She got my Mommy’s support when she made the trip one more day longer.
8:51 pm on June 20th, 2012
There is a wildfire along both sides of the Rio Grande right now.
We can see the smoke plume from our house It can’t come in my direction because there would be no fuel for it…The available fuel for it is only to be found along the river. There are expensive homes located in the bosque (the River forest)so there are some evacuations of both people and livestock.
Lightening didn’t start this one. I’m betting fireworks.
9:04 pm on June 20th, 2012
Fireworks? Are they nuts? Dray as burnt toast, fires all over the region and fireworks? Jeez Louise.
I was going to say something clever but ahhhhhh that went away.
So ta ta ta ta TTFN!

Mollypop’s Mom, The Royal’s Mum, Melanie(hopefully the videographer), OleyHowlers and Snowhook Bella all together at the big event. How exciting! You are lucky dogs.
Happy Birthday to the Royal’s G’pa yesterday.
Mom came home from the hospital today and now is doing whatever she wants…which, truth to tell, is not very much!
Wookie: Ripe tomatoes from the garden on the first day of summer? Wow. Impressive. I have many green tomatoes and zucchini flowers. The bunnies are eating the beet greens (I think) and the parsley. The beans are growing fast.

I, er, am pleased to say that I registered today for a day pass to the conference so I can hear SQPA’s session. I am so very excited to meet him, but I will do my best to play it cool.
I am embarrassed to say that I don’t have my ID or my CTD patch like I planned. I left the house in such a rush today I even forgot my wedding ring. I was busy trying to prepare the house for Coach’s visit and had to pick AJ up at a camp on my way into town. The most important thing I had to do today was also the most difficult. Bridger, a retired lead dog and AJ’s canine incarnate has cancer and it is time to usher him across the Bridge. AJ made an appointment for him while I’m away. Today I said good-bye. I told him I love him and to never forget it. I told him some of his stories, apologized if I failed him in any way, and thanked him for all that he taught me and for his patience. Finally, I told him that they broke the mold with both he and AJ. I stayed with him longer than my schedule allowed so it was through tears that I grabbed my suitcase and got in the car. I wasn’t thinking clearly and forgot those very important items.
Do you think anyone will know it’s me if I don’t have the proper identification?

Rebecca!…I had no idea you were leaving So Soon! but then I realized you have a conference in Atlanta to attend first before the Big Event…sniff!…How do you do it all?…wuffle!
11:20 pm on June 20th, 2012
Rebecca. There is no possible way that you could have ever failed Bridger and I’m certain Bridger knows that very well. Prayers for him as he crosses the Bridge. Wookie
11:24 pm on June 20th, 2012
dear Bridger – there are some very big hearts on the other side. They will show you where the very best biscuits trees are.
Princess Sam – you should put on your most adorable look and convince your Mom and your Girl that this is a once in a lifetime trip to meet Bella in person. And they could even bring YOU! The hotel is pet friendly, and so is our house where everyone is coming for (gluten free) dinner. Mama has even been talking about lasagna!!!!!
Come on – you can talk them into it. And then they wouldn’t have to worry about MollyPop’s Mom. They could keep her from dancing around the pool with a lampshade on her head.
11:26 pm on June 20th, 2012
Rebecca!…You and Spencer will be six hours away from me…snort!…So if you get a chance please ask him to go to the Big Event and also ask him why he never ever stops in Colorado…grunt!…I hope you remembered your camera, thats all I can say, I am speechless, sad and glad right now…wuffle!

Good question, Rio. I have wondered myself how Rebecca does it all.

Rebecca, my prayers for s safe crossing for Bridger. He will be so happy to meet up with old friends, and I am certain he will be pleased to meet Teddie.
I am certain that SPQA will know it’s you because of your ear to ear grin.
11:34 pm on June 20th, 2012
Bridger, like AJ has a confidence about him that is difficult to describe. He knows he is tough and doesn’t have anything to prove to anyone, just what he wants to prove to himself. To say both are self made and self reliant is just the beginning. Bridger doesn’t need or want to be coddled in the same way as others do; he lets you know when he wants or wants to give affection. Bridger, big and strong, was always his brother’s keeper and in his prime was an amazing athlete. He taught me to listen to what the dogs were saying on the trail, and as a rookie musher was patient when I was slow to learn. He was captain of ship more than once as I was still learning. I will miss him.

Rio: In passing, life continues even if we wish it would pause for a short while.
I do want to say I am honored and humbled by the efforts made to join in the fun later this month. One day, one day we will have to have a gathering.
My plane leaves in under six hours and there is still much to be done like sorting t-shirts and hoodies. The screenprinter called and said they were ready today for me to pick up. They look great.

I may have forgotten my wedding ring and my CTD identification, but I wouldn’t dare leave the house without my water wings or my snorkel. I keep my snorkeling mask pulled onto the top of my head at all times. You can never be too careful.
