Good morning, everyone! Dallas needs to have a meet and greet with Chet 🙂 At least Dallas now has a job that makes him happy.
Have a thrilling Thursday, all. We are about to have a thunderous Thursday 🙁
9:10 am on February 20th, 2014
Good morning HOH and all.
Poor Dallas, he was too nice! Hope he likes his new job.
We are waiting for the rain and wind to start. Temps will reach 50 degrees, but high winds this afternoon.
9:13 am on February 20th, 2014
Good morning, HOH and all. Dallas is a great looking Member of the Nation.
Dawson, we use an iPaw to do almost all of our posting on this here blog. We have trouble with missing upper case and spaces sometimes, but other than that, it is a breeze. Mom is stealing it from us when she goes Way Up North, so she can help you. She carries it in her handbag.
9:14 am on February 20th, 2014
Hi Barb and Maggie.
9:15 am on February 20th, 2014
Good luck Dallas and good morning all.
9:18 am on February 20th, 2014
Rio: I prefer a lap-top to the iPad. (I don’t like touch-screen typing.) My lap-top, which is a Toshiba, is on a computer stand on wheels.
9:34 am on February 20th, 2014
HRH B, mom got a “folio/keypad” which her I Paw snaps into then bluetooths to connect bypassing typing on the screen. There are sever different designs.
9:56 am on February 20th, 2014
OH, don’t remember if we said how happy mom is that you will be up north. She is looking forward to meeting and sharing a b-day celebration with Ray after the re-start.
10:02 am on February 20th, 2014
HOH, Mom is spazzing out about the trip. She does not travel well.
Meashka has been spazzing too. She had accident in her bed and again in my bed (which I never use) last night!!!
Masquers, Mom could use your air flight expertise.
10:04 am on February 20th, 2014
Hey! Where’d I go?!!!!????
10:10 am on February 20th, 2014
OH, mom calls those “intentionals”, we don’t know why. And we hate those dratted suitcases sitting out 🙁
10:27 am on February 20th, 2014
Morning all.
It has been exciting here. The new stove was delivered at 7:15 am. We barked.
The painters came at 7:39. We barked
The painters moved the Ladd a few times. We barked.
The Fed Ex truck came. We barked.
Gramp and Callue went for a walk. We barked.
Are you sensing a theme here?
We wonder what Mama has in mind with that duct tape she is holding…
10:28 am on February 20th, 2014
LaddER. The painters moved the laddER
sheesh
10:45 am on February 20th, 2014
Hey, Dallas, Looking Good!
B: Sharon is right…the Keyboard Attachments available for the iPaws, make it sooo much easier to type (especially with my Big, Clumsy Paws).
Royals: I am Barking for Youse! Hurray for the New Kitchen! Hurray!
Meashka & Hounds: We know just how you feel. No one likes to see those dreaded suitcases. However, we have found the sitters are always So Much Fun that all that is very soon forgotten.
Hounds: A Thrilling Thursday? We’ll take it!
10:52 am on February 20th, 2014
Staff: Mom can’t figure out how to forward an article she found, but, go on the internet and in “search” type in…Best suitcase packing. Sever good sites come up. Lots of good tips like: pare down-half the pants as shirts, roll things (like the military), Shoes and bulky items first (think of layers of a cake). Good luck.

Am resubmitting this as am being moderated 🙁
11:12 am on February 20th, 2014
Suitcases? There are no suitcases in sight. That part is a long ways away for my Momma.
Meashka is traumatized about her best boy.
11:28 am on February 20th, 2014
Does Meashka know that Dima crossed the Bridge? They say it is best if they know, so they are not quite as stressed over their absence. When Joey passed, Gus got up and came and stood over him at the exact moment of his death and then turned and walked away. He knew what had just happened.
T & G, What kind of new stove do you have? We noticed in one of the before pictures that you had a solid top electric stove. Did you keep electric or did you switch to gas? Are you getting a new fridge too?
Wind gusts may reach 50-60 mph this afternoon. As we have said many times, good thing we are not out on the farm!
11:40 am on February 20th, 2014
Howlers: Yesterday Mom started to get a dreamy faraway look in her eye talking about meeting youse at Seatac. She started thinking…maybe, just maybe… I quickly remindered her of my flight-tracking duties here and the need for a computer.
(whispering) Kat, your mom will be just fine. tell her to think about all the fun times ahead and meeting me, me, me.
B&M: Yeep!
11:40 am on February 20th, 2014
The new stove is gas. Mama always wanted a gas stove, and since we converted the heat to gas, now she can have one.
The refrigerator is going to stay for now, but when the day comes to replace it, it will be with stainless steel.
The old, dark, shadowy kitchen and dining room are GONE. Wahoo!
Meashka – we are so sorry for you. We know you miss your partner. But your ‘rents love you dearly, and you can focus on bringing up Kat to be a good Husky pup. Head bumps from everyone here- even the Wrotten Kats.
11:42 am on February 20th, 2014
Tupper and Gilly: Good work!
11:43 am on February 20th, 2014
That is a good article.
Wose? Did you send me an SDD? I suspect it is not really from you and I did not click on the “Confirm you know Rose” link.
Barb, That is our wind that went through here yesterday. Maybe there will still be a few tumbleweeds in it.
11:47 am on February 20th, 2014
Meashka, Thinking of you.
11:48 am on February 20th, 2014
Maggie!!!! Hide under the bed so you don’t fly away!!!!
11:52 am on February 20th, 2014
USA vs Canada at noon est. Yowl!!!!
11:53 am on February 20th, 2014
Siber: That wild wind from the west seems to be making its way across the country. It started here on Saturday.
Okay…WBBL…lots of work to do.
11:54 am on February 20th, 2014
T.C.: Thanks for the tip! we’ll be watching.
11:58 am on February 20th, 2014
Masquers, my mommy sent your mommy an SDD. Please let her know.
12:00 pm on February 20th, 2014
SnowBella: I hope you are getting paid the Big Bucks for all these trips to the Far North. We at least hope you will not be out of Wifi range.
Meashka: Your Boy is Very Special. He is Missed by all. Hopefully he can visit you in a Dream soon to Comfort you.
12:00 pm on February 20th, 2014
Barb loves her gas stove and also her French door refrigerator. They are stainless, which is a nice look, but hard to keep looking clean. Little kid’s finger prints and doggy nose prints really show up.
12:05 pm on February 20th, 2014
Siber-H: please check your SDD when able.
Mama Meash: I miss your boy very much, too. His heart will always be with you, and ditto to what BSD said. He will show himself to you to comfort you.
12:13 pm on February 20th, 2014
T.C.: SDD received & responded to.
1:07 pm on February 20th, 2014
In addition to the 4″ of snow I shoveled last night, there is another 2″ on the ground and it is still snowing. It might be okay to ease up a little bit on the snow dances. Thanks

Tapping toe . . .
Hello All. Dallas, more power to you!
Been under the quilt. Waiting – have I ever mentioned I don’t like waiting? – for doctors to contact me.
Now on bulldozer mode. We shall see.
Back under the quilt.
1:14 pm on February 20th, 2014
C.Hobbit: Great News for the Iditarod! (not so much for you)
Hi, Melanie: Grrr to those Doctors. We all offer to join you on the Bulldozer.
1:15 pm on February 20th, 2014
Computer!…Well crap!…snort!…My friend is not sure what to buy this weekend. She might go to Wally-World and buy something really cheap since the really expensive one didn’t last long….grump!…All I know is I need something pronto to watch the Really Big Race that starts Really soon…sniff!
1:27 pm on February 20th, 2014
Riö: It seems your late laptop wasn’t that old. Did it have some kind of warranty?…or had it already ran out…which is ALWAYS the way.
Also you mentioned your friend thought the problem was moving it around too much, but most folks move them from place to place all the time.
1:34 pm on February 20th, 2014
B: run? ran? Help!
Heh. Speaking of laptops, computers & smartphones…we here are laughing about the new GoPhone that, with all the added accessories, has to be at least as heavy as an iPaw and we think would make a good weapon.
1:47 pm on February 20th, 2014
This little guy might need more training….

1:48 pm on February 20th, 2014
Ditto with this puppy…

1:54 pm on February 20th, 2014
Off to shovel snow for the 5th time in 48 hours. Very pretty but I am almost over the thrill. At least I will have on hand 6 potential shovelers next week.

1:59 pm on February 20th, 2014
Dallas is very handsome. It is good that he found a job more suitable to his talents.
O’Howlers: Thanks! I will need help with the ipaw, especially with posting photos and I see I can download ebooks too!
T&G: Whole lot of barking going on! I take that as a sign that work is happening and soon you will have your kitchen back with a new gas stove! I love cooking with gas and the bonus is that if the electricity goes out you can still cook.
CHobbit: I stopped doing the snow dances a few days ago, honest!
I hope they find out what keeps causing the blood in Sadie’s urine.
I am doing laundry and watching the US versus Canada women’s hockey game. Oh no! The US just scored again!
I get a nervous feeling the day before I travel and with the Olympics and construction going on here I am so distracted that I’m sure to forget to pack something. Not my pants though. I packed them this morning.
Wose: I received a SDD from you also…
Rebecca will add Dima’s name to the appropriate checkpoints and fix any little errors (like adding Wose’s name on the White Mountain checkpoint) as soon as she gets back from the North. If you know of any errors on the checkpoints list you can SDD me.
2:07 pm on February 20th, 2014
Masquers: “…had it already run out….”
2:08 pm on February 20th, 2014
Dawson!…Go USA!..snort!snort!…Remember the last time the Canadians wonnit all…grunt!
Tacos!….The hot-shot says he would definitely order one of these babies….heh!

2:14 pm on February 20th, 2014
Maskers!…As far as I can tell the warranty was only for one year…sniff!….The dead lap-top would be 2 years old come April…grump!
2:17 pm on February 20th, 2014
If you guys have not checked Snowhook’s blog recently, AJ and Rebecca made a really nice dedication on it of this year’s Iditarod to Melanie.
2:17 pm on February 20th, 2014
Now you’ve gone and done it, Hobbit! When you-know-who-sees that police canine in-training, whe will need to have one of her own or be in a vbm.
Go USA Women!!!!!
2:21 pm on February 20th, 2014
Go Canada!
2:22 pm on February 20th, 2014
I would seriously eat one of those tacos but mom got a little sick watching the video.
2:22 pm on February 20th, 2014
The Pres and the PM bet a case of beer on each game (mens and women).
2:24 pm on February 20th, 2014
Snowbella emailed me yesterday that Rio’s Little Cabin in the Woods is available if there is a Plunderer who wants to make a last-minute trip and is particularly adventurous. Any takers?
2:28 pm on February 20th, 2014
Cabin!…Hey! Wait a cotton pickin’ minute…snort!…Rebecca is giving away my little Cabin in the Woods? She did not ask me about this, no she did not…grump!
2:34 pm on February 20th, 2014
Rio: ever heard of the term “use it or lose it?” Snort!
2:41 pm on February 20th, 2014
CHobbit!…That is not very nice of youse…snort!
2:48 pm on February 20th, 2014
Oh Rio–it is so rare that I can throw you a zinger. Have a Slim Jim on me.
2:51 pm on February 20th, 2014
(Shaking my head) These referees are rubbish!
2:52 pm on February 20th, 2014
Pay up Mr. President! Heh, heh, heh.
2:53 pm on February 20th, 2014
CARPOLA!
2:57 pm on February 20th, 2014
Score!…Dawson whats the score?…sniff!…We here are not allowed to watch it and Beau is throwing a tantrum…grunt!…Plus they will not replay it tonight when all the folks that work at a BUSY PLACE can watch…grump!
3:04 pm on February 20th, 2014
We got a SDD from Rose also, thought it was legit.
3:10 pm on February 20th, 2014
Mom just got home and missed mucho! Had a comfort lunch with adopted son and his partner. Did grilled ham and cheese sandwiches and cream of “mater soup, then a rousing game of scrabble. As usual, mom got smeared 🙂
3:12 pm on February 20th, 2014
CHobbit: That’s a lot of snow! That’s what comes of too many doing the snow dance. It’s a shame Riö & Beau couldn’t come up to help with the shoveling…although no doubt they would disagree.
Kool photos of Dallas as a pup.
Dawson: Mom is in a tizzy and she’s just going to the airport!
btw: please check your SDD when able.
Siber: Same as B&M…it looked legit to us too.
Thanks, B: That’s what I told Mom, but did she listen? No.
3:18 pm on February 20th, 2014
Mr. PM, Enjoy your beer.
3:19 pm on February 20th, 2014
Maskers!….Beau and I buried our little shovels in one of SiberH’s holes…snort!…No shoveling for us by golly…sniff!
3:59 pm on February 20th, 2014
HOCKEY SPOILER!
Rio: The US had a 2 to 0 lead in the 3rd with only 3 1/2 minutes to go when Canada scored! Then they scored again with less than a minute to go! Overtime! Canada scored again! WhooooHooo! Canada got the gold in women’s curling too!
4:05 pm on February 20th, 2014
Macy’s Mom: Just noon up North in Alaska. Haven’t heard much. Are you seeing the sights? Shoveling snow? Having hot cocoa wrapped in a blanket? Shivering? Please check in soon, inquiring minds want to know.
4:06 pm on February 20th, 2014
Siber and B&M: We would advise not to click on that link, but instead suggest going direct to the site to see what shows up there.
But Riö, youse could have seen the all the Iditarod festivities first hand and your little cabin in the woods awaits.
Moi?, I am planning a stowaway attempt on one of the Plunderers flights…surely I’m small enough to fit in one of their over-sized carry-ons….and, with that in mind, I will be contacting Alice to bring extra salmon bonbons for the trip.
4:29 pm on February 20th, 2014
Painters are done! We are in the process of putting things back together, but there is an auction tomorrow night with a beautiful Hitchcock dining room set that Mama is drooling over. So, the dining room might just have to wait a day or two…
Its ok – Mama is just sitting in the middle of the light, bright, warm, gorgeous room smiling. Just smiling. What’s up with that?
Rio – has your friend ever considered going to a big box office store for help with selecting the right kind of computer?
Are we supposed to stop doing our snowdance now? Are you sure there is enough snow for the team to run on comfortably?
4:30 pm on February 20th, 2014
Rio and Beau do not have a future in construction work.
The email is legit. Wose told me so.
4:33 pm on February 20th, 2014
Wose – check your SDD – quick like a flying monkey in the Wizard of Oz
4:46 pm on February 20th, 2014
Heh. Dream On…Little Kitty Kat…Dream On.
Royals: We can picture your Mama now…with the Happy Face and a Smile from Ear to Ear. 😉
The Big Box store carries computers?
5:00 pm on February 20th, 2014
BSD, We thought she meant big box like Office Depot, Office Max or Best Buy. We got a really good deal on all-in-one hp Pavilion last fall at Office Depot.
5:06 pm on February 20th, 2014
T & G, We await the finished photos.
5:36 pm on February 20th, 2014
Box!…She will most likely be going to Office Depot for my brand new computer…snorkel!…I can’t wait to get my paws on it….wheeze! …A new printer is being contemplated also…chuffle!…Thank dawg Tax Return season is right around the next corner…heh!
5:37 pm on February 20th, 2014
Barb&Magpie: By the time my Big Paws hit Submit it was too late to take back. So many times we wish there was an Edit Button on this here Blog. Sigh.
5:47 pm on February 20th, 2014
Oldness!…It takes an hour for my old computer to completely boot-up…sniff!….I fear for it’s life. Someone says tonight I must get all the old photos and files copied to my little flash-drive or else…wuffle!
5:55 pm on February 20th, 2014
CHobbit!…Tip-toe on furry hobbit feet over to your SDD…snort!
6:12 pm on February 20th, 2014
Belly is up top!!!! Is that a sign or what???!!!!
Dawson, care to double down for tomorrow’s game at noon? Huh????
6:28 pm on February 20th, 2014
Rio’s friend here. I just heard from Rebecca, seems she did not make it to Barrow today as planned. Instead at around 4:30am she went to Urgent Care where AJ met up with her. They ran some tests and are currently treating her for dangerously low potassium levels compounded by exhaustion. The Doctor told her no travel this week because he fears she will have seizures. They will test her again next week to make sure they are on the right track with this theory and that it’s not something else.
She says no one should worry (uh-huh) and right now her and AJ are on their way home from Anchorage. I am hoping she will do as the doctors say and get some much needed rest. Low potassium is not something to take lightly.
I would have let Rio type this up but he is in a corner right now very worrit about his friend even though she definitely said not to worry she will be back on the blog tomorrow.
6:28 pm on February 20th, 2014
Just getting home from the last official “Mama can’t cook in a kitchen with wet paint and without a stove” dinner out. Tomorrow she will have everything in place to cook – so, where will she be at dinnertime? At an auction.
The woman is just unbelievable.
6:34 pm on February 20th, 2014
Sheesh – talk about unbelievable women!
Snowbella – SIT! STAY! HEAL!
Rio – we know you are rocking in a corner with worry – but low potassium is very treatable. It is a VERY good thing they caught it before there were complications. We will have all paws crossed that she will listen to the doctor and learn to take life just a tad slower. And that she will be feeling tip top in no time.
And the low potassium could be related to the dehydration issues that she had a little while ago.
6:38 pm on February 20th, 2014
Oh Dog! Bella! Me worry? You’re darn tootin’
6:40 pm on February 20th, 2014
Good thing she took heed and didn’t get on a plane!
T & G has some good advice up above. Take care of yourself and slow down just a bit.
6:43 pm on February 20th, 2014
Rio, in my 40 years in the computer field, I have lost count of how many hard drives failed. I didn’t carry my work computer around but it kept happening anyway. My home computers were carried many places, mostly when they were turned off, but hard drives can be tricky. Two years ago, when yet another hard drive failed, I went with the Mac Air laptop. It has no spinning hard drive, instead it is solid state.
6:46 pm on February 20th, 2014
I am very worrit about the Pixie.
6:47 pm on February 20th, 2014
Yeeks!
Me too! I am worrit! Snowbella, we want you healthy and seizureless.
Kat: Sure kid, I’ll double down. Unfortunately I will be on a greyhound bus while the game is on. When I get off the bus I hope to be welcoming a grand nephew to the world so I will be a bit busy. Well, the grand nephew may decide not to make an appearance.
6:57 pm on February 20th, 2014
T&G: Please check your SDD when able.
Youse guys, I recently joined Linked-in. It is a networking site that mainly benefits people like me, who are unemployed. Since I used my blog e-mail, I think it somehow gathered all your names. If you do receive an accept message, you don’t have to accept. Just know that it is legit from me.
6:58 pm on February 20th, 2014
OMD!!! SnowBella, we KNEW you were pushing yourself too hard.
We are sending Love & Prayers & Healing Thoughts. Do Not move further from your bed than the couch.
Mama Luna & Tenzing: Sit on her if you have to, but make sure she STAYS PUT.
The Royal Mum is right. Thank Dog it was Caught in Time and it is Treatable.
6:58 pm on February 20th, 2014
Sob! I am so worried about our Pixie, I am going to splort. Sob,sob, sob!
7:04 pm on February 20th, 2014
Rose: Worrit! Me too. Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear.
7:08 pm on February 20th, 2014
NO SPLORTING! No one needs to have the extra duty of cleaning up.
7:09 pm on February 20th, 2014
Wose, we thought it was legit, but didn’t sign on for it since Barb is retired. It seems more like a business link so she didn’t think she could benefit you in any way. However, we were impressed with your business profile, Howlers’s mom’s too. (When we clicked on your profile, it also showed Howler’s mom’s profile, so it is not that we were stalking you).
7:37 pm on February 20th, 2014
Snowbella, bed, couch and potty…nothing else. Take care! Dawson, safe trip and congrats on the grand neph.
7:41 pm on February 20th, 2014
Dawson, Let’s hope nephew cooperates and arrives promptly for your viewing.
Bella, Everyone is giving you good advice. Chill, girl, chill! And don’t forget to hydrate!
8:12 pm on February 20th, 2014
Dawson! Safe travels,
8:15 pm on February 20th, 2014
Lots of downer news on this here blog lately, so we will share some upbeat news. Fern is improving!!! She now gets up on a higher perch, and more importantly, she eats and drinks, and eats, and even eats her oyster shells. She started laying an egg almost every day. And she is looking like her most beautiful self again.
8:19 pm on February 20th, 2014
Howlers – YAAAAAYYYYYYY!! So happy to hear the good news about the lovely Fern.
8:28 pm on February 20th, 2014
Whoo hoo, the chickie 2 step has worked on Fern. Keep it up, girl!
8:41 pm on February 20th, 2014

8:41 pm on February 20th, 2014
Fern! Wooo! We Knew You Could Do It. Are you still living in the house?
8:44 pm on February 20th, 2014
Sob!…Sob!Sob!….It’s pretty bad when the best news we have is a chicken is getting on a perch and laying an egg…wuffle!…I am so worrit about my Rebecca. Who is going to feed Junior?…wheeze!…
Fern!…Oh and Fern, I truly am glad you are feeling almost tippity-toppity…sniffle!
8:45 pm on February 20th, 2014
Lots of talk, few fotos today.
8:48 pm on February 20th, 2014
Mother!…Oh mother, she twisted her knee today so my friend was doing supper, dishes, and fussing around getting the standby old-lady walker out and dusted off…sniff!…Now Beau and I are in constant danger of getting pummelled to death every time mother gets up and moves around….grunt!…Which by the way she is not supposed to do. She is supposed to stay put in the chair with her damned leg up…gruffle!
8:58 pm on February 20th, 2014
OMDAWG!….I just saw the advertizement for “24” the movie…snort!…Coming next year 5-15-15…What!? …That is way too long to wait…sniffle!
8:59 pm on February 20th, 2014
Here’s a photo for you.

Melanie resplendant in her purple back at OTAS wedding with YSAS on her other side.
9:00 pm on February 20th, 2014
Oh, poor Mom. A walker. Drat it all.
Fern is still a house chicken, but only until the ‘rents return from Way Up North, and the snow goes away. Then there will be a brand spankin’ new wee “rehab” coop for Fern out in the yard, close to her sisters. We think that once she is outdoors, scratching in the dirt, she will get to where she is able to move about, though maybe not quite normal.
9:02 pm on February 20th, 2014
Thanks, T&G. We love that bee-autiful photo of our wonderful friend.
9:04 pm on February 20th, 2014
T&G, such talented Corgis to post such a great foto. We appreciate it bunches.
9:11 pm on February 20th, 2014
Great pic of Melanie in her favorite color.
9:14 pm on February 20th, 2014
Melanie!…Clarkson!…and Artist Son!…snort!snort!…I love that photo..sniffle!…I wish I could save it…grump!
9:14 pm on February 20th, 2014
Maggie, tell Barb that Mom’s sister just found out that she is going to be a grandmother! We are all very excited.
9:24 pm on February 20th, 2014
Rio – when your friend manages to get you a brand spanking new, state-of-the-art, high speed, multi-tasking computer, Mama will send you that picture. Promise.
G’night all
9:37 pm on February 20th, 2014
Love that wedding photo of our beautiful Melanie and her handsome sons. It is one of our favorites. sniff.

Cards!….That Fern is really playing her cards right…snort!…I bet she could even beat Dawson. Here she is the ONLY one of the whole flock who has gotten to stay in the warm house all winter while all her peeps are out in the cold harsh winter weather…heh!heh!…Heck, it will be Spring before she even sets foot on a blade of grass….chorkel!…What a Chicken!
9:43 pm on February 20th, 2014
Mollys-Maw!…Someone here has been contemplating the Mac idea big time believe you me…sniff!…The techies at the computer-fix-it-up shop showed her a real disk drive and how fragile they are…grump!…It’s a wonder the whole world of pcs and laptops have not crashed…sniff!
9:56 pm on February 20th, 2014
Vocabulary!….disk drive = hard drive…sniff!…What the hell am I talking about?…grunt!
Olympics!…I cannot and will not believe the Canadians yet again beat us in Hockey…grump!…What a brutal nightmare. I wonder if all those Canadian Hockey athletes will get drunk again?…heh!heh!…Remember that? I bet SiberH and Dawson do.
9:57 pm on February 20th, 2014
Boobear, Congrats to Linda. How exciting! Do you know when the new one is due?
10:10 pm on February 20th, 2014
Rebecca in Urgent Care at 4:30 am? Splort! thunk! [I am sick hearing the news and feel faint] Big week coming up. Rest, take medicine and get well soon.
10:13 pm on February 20th, 2014
Lovely picture of a beautiful woman and her handsome sons!
Rio: Get a Mac! Now why would SiberH get drunk because the Canadian women won gold? Those women were on home ice when they got drunk and smoked cigars. I don’t think they’d get away with that in Russia, especially since Russia is out of hockey medal contention. We are watching the game again! WhooHooo! We are into overtime.
BooBear: Congratulations on your exciting news!
10:21 pm on February 20th, 2014
Dawson!…I thought it was hilarious at the time and actually I still think it is hilarious…snort!…I just wish to hell we could beat you guys some day…grump!…Did I miss the Luge? I have yet to see a Luge event…wheeze!
10:26 pm on February 20th, 2014
Sounds like ML is out and about and seeing things, skiing and having fun. Whew! Wears me out just hearing about it.
10:30 pm on February 20th, 2014
Thank you, Royals, for Posting that Photo. Purple is definitely our Melanie’s Color.
Rio: Sorry to hear about Your Friend’s Mother. It must be very painful.
Remember all the Computer Problems We Here used to have? We went through one after another in nothing flat. Now, with this newest version, there is space for tons of photos and that has made all the difference. However…it is not a laptop.
Can’t wait to hear what kind of new computer youse are getting.
10:32 pm on February 20th, 2014
I must have missed ML’s post…
Rio: They had the one where they go down on their backs feet first, then the one where they are on their stomachs head first, then the 2 man bobsled, and the one man bobsled. Is one of those the luge? I am not a fan of ice chutes (unless the Jamaicans are racing).
10:38 pm on February 20th, 2014
Shoots!…I am a HUGE fan of the ice shoots and I will have to watch it all ON DEMAND I guess…sniff!…What the hell! I thought the Luge was one of the top viewer sports…grunt!
ML!…What? Did she ever get out of bed? I do not remember a post about her being out and about in Alaska, but then I have a bo-dunk computer right now..sniff!
10:45 pm on February 20th, 2014
Dawson: Everyone loves the Jamaicans!
No one here saw a post from ML either…only that one this morning. We were thinking CHobbit got a phone call from her.
10:46 pm on February 20th, 2014
Boobear, Tell Linda to try to talk them into waiting to find out the sex of the baby. Almost no one ever does that these days. We had some in our family that waited, and it was just Sooo exciting. One of life’s only big surprises. We highly recommend it!
Night all.
10:48 pm on February 20th, 2014
Youse guys are right. We went back to see if we missed a post from Mary Lou and could not find one.
10:52 pm on February 20th, 2014
Maskers!…What a smart-alect-kat you are sometimes…snort!…I bet CHobbit did get a special Go-Phone call or text from ML…sniff!…See, this is what happens when Plunderers “Get Together”. They FORGET about all of us woe-begotten ones sitting at home. They DO NOT post about what is going on, oh no, that is way toooo much bother for them…sniff!..I can see it all now. Everyone will be in Alaska and I will be sitting here all alone wandering what the hell is going on up there – just like you Maskers…gruffle!
10:58 pm on February 20th, 2014
Relatives!…Wait, ML is not even out and about with the Plunderers yet, she is hanging with Relatives…sniff!…EVEN WORSE!…wheeze!…We will hardly hear from her at all, mark my words…grump! …Photos? Not one I bet.
10:58 pm on February 20th, 2014

Masquers: Okay, okay, I will try to post on that complicated machine. I do hope O’Howlers will teach me how to take a picture and post it. I will try. I did manage to download a free book today, although I did not find Michener’s “Alaska”, which is what I want to read.

Skaters!…The 15 year old Russian just finished here, but she fell! Unbelievable. She has been perfect so far. I can see our 15 year old and their 15 year old becoming ice skating rivals big-time in the upcoming Olympics…yeeep!… Such talent as such an early human age…wheeze!
11:39 pm on February 20th, 2014
Dawson!…Safe travels, you Canadian, you!…snort!snort!….Check in when you can. Dammit!…grunt!
11:45 pm on February 20th, 2014
Agent Maskers!…Can you track Dawson’s bus?…wheeze!…Where is she going again? I am thinking Montana, but that is where the Massage-Kat lives…sniff!…Not sure.
12:01 am on February 21st, 2014
Everyone: ML has posted on Facebook.
Dawson: what kind of carrier do you have for your iPad? I hope it works in Alaska. If not, everyone can use my laptop to make their posts.
It looks like it finally stopped snowing and the skies are clear. No more snow is scheduled. With the expected heat wave, some of the snow will melt but hopefully the trails have been much improved.
oodles of noodles

Commander Riö: Dawson is traveling from Canada to WA by GreyHound to visit family for a few days before she flies North to Alaska. And maybe, just maybe, welcome a wee one into the world.

I am here. Been out and about seeing beeyoutiful mountains, rivers, trees, reindeer, bison, elk, musk oxen, and really big birds. Mr. Pug I will attempt to get the pictures on my iPaw tonight, no promises.
Anyone following me on FB, don’t believe everything you read. Sometimes I just pick a location that sounds like fun. My cousin took me out on the 4-wheeler this afternoon. Wheeeeeeeeee. That was breezy.
3:21 am on February 21st, 2014
I finally figured out how to get the pictures from my camera to the blog via iPaw !

ML: Booty-full foto of the mt. Nice one of you looking cold, er, cool, too.
7:45 am on February 21st, 2014
Wow!
ML: That looks like fun and the scenery is beautiful.
Masquers: Updating my itinerary. I take the greyhound to Fort St. John, where I get off to see if there is a new baby and stay overnight. Then on Saturday I catch a plane to Vancouver where my son will pick me up and take me across the border to the US. That’s where I stay for a few days.
Melanie: I hope being a bulldozer yesterday did some good and didn’t wipe you out for today.
BooBear: Thinking of you and yours as I head out on my great adventure.
10:34 am on February 21st, 2014
I wasn’t able to post yesterday after 2:00. this is the post that stuck in the blog unposted. sniff. Off to catch up…BBL
Huh I just learned something.
If I have prescription drugs, and I do, they should be in the original containers, not in the weekly/daily dispensing packs.
Jeeze louise I take 20 pills a day. What a pain to open and dispense those medications from the bottles not from the daily dispenser. Sheesh. They can’t guarantee that I won’t break some unnamed state rules if I have them outside the bottles. Yikes. Now that is going to be an interesting couple of bags.
And you are only allowed ONE quart sized plastic baggie of liquid and gel toiletries. Sheesh.
sniff
And I haven’t posted yet today but I am posting too fast. I guess I will steal Alice’s avatar…
This sucks.
