“But she has a dog, too,” says Spence. “Name of Oliver. Here they are.”

Gooood morning everyone! Wow! Yeah! Yippie! Wowser! Mom and her pos laptop are home and in reach! As long as we don’t jump, we can stay close. We are so far behind, we think we are first! We WILL catch up and add our voices while mom is napping, we can be as sneaky as the next dog.

Excuse me, can the mommy dog get a word in edgewise? Am home and looking at a 4-6 week time in and out of the the quilt. Missed everyone but had the HOH’s pohto and charms of Sasha & Moonman for support (not to mention bacon strips, sweedish fish, puppy pillows). Hope all are ok and busy w/ spring. Oh, just because someone is (in)famous, doesn’t mean they can’t love a 4 legger.

Bee, We spent so much time trying to figure out Barb’s bird that you missed the whole back and forth about Chris Brown and Rihanna.

They are both singers, very popular with the twenties set and teens. Several years ago they jumped into the limelight when they were on their way to an awards program and got into a fight in their limo. Chris smacked her around, messing up her beautiful face. They broke up, he got in legal trouble, etc. Then in the last year they got back together and made some music about it being her choice. I think they just parted ways again. They are on tv alot, including Oprah interviews. Now, I bet that is much more than you ever wanted to know!

    Good Morning Plunderers!

    Welcome back Sharon!
I believe O’Howlers’ Ma and Pa are in another state. Have a great time at the wedding.
Sam, is is cold here too. And wet. The weekend’s weather looks like more of the same. Since they have changed the forecast everyday, I’ll just wait and see.

YSAS and LLL are coming in late tonight. Well, late for us. snicker.

As for Rihanna’s dog? All I see is a handful of reddish brown something.

Bee – we agree with you – who ARE Chris Brown and Rhianna? And why does anyone care? And why can’t “celebrities” be grateful for their luck in attaining their exhaulted status, and dedicate themselves to being good role models during their very short tenure of popularity?

Anyway – we are so very glad to have Sharon and the Herd back with us. And we wish safe travels and good times to BearSD’s and the Howlers’ families.

We think when Spence posted the link yesterday he did not know the negative aspects about these two. He was just impressed that a celebrity was taking in rescue dogs, which we all know is a good thing.

Amalia, One of the two main characters in Orphan Train, was Molly, a young Penobscot girl. She was supposed to be named after Molly Molasses, a very strong Penobscot woman who lived in Maine in the late 1700s.

Barb just got back in, after working in the yard for a few minutes.

Rio, We agree that celebs are not all that interesting. Barb does not waste her money on the trash mags at the grocery store. She does watch 30 min. of Hollywood news per day, as it fits in with her lunch or dinner schedule. Either Access Hollywood or Extra. They are billed as “entertainment news” shows. She gleams most of her useless Hollywood info from these sources.

Stopped at the library and found a book – The House Girl by Tara Conklin. It is her first novel, but looks very interesting. Time for the regularly scheduled reading and nap. BBL

We do not have a shotgun. We have a lumbering Pack whose jowls go up when they are running and show their teeth off.

If I lived in Alaska? I would have a shotgun or something strong enough to keep away the weirder wildlife.

I will be stopping at Snowhook on the 28th (or maybe sooner if I go home sooner). The plan this time is to park on the main road and hike the mile down the driveway so I don’t get stuck. Although the weather report show temps in the 60s for a few days so the driveway should start drying out.

At various times I have considered owning a gun and taking a class in how to shoot but I just never wanted to go there bad enough to do it. 50% of the houses that I have looked at in Anchorage so far have security systems. This is a big change from me leaving at least one of my doors unlocked 24/7 so I won’t inadvertently lock myself out of the house. I don’t know why I oddly feel safer with a barking dog as her wagging tail usually overrides her bark (or she quietly stands behind me).

I explain that unless their securty system won’t go off when the Pack of 150 pounders start running through shaking the entire house we are not interested.

Have you ever considered about including a little bit more than just your articles?
I mean, what you say is valuable and everything.
But imagine if you added some great images or video
clips to give your posts more, “pop”! Your content is excellent but with images and clips, this website could undeniably be one of the most beneficial in its
    niche. Superb blog!
