Readers!
Blueberry muffins came up yesterday. And then this came in! (thanks Sheila Green) We have some extremely entertaining readers out there! Also there were some questions about my mom’s tips for writing dialogue. I’ll see if I can organize a post on the subject. But not today!

Good day to all!
Clever pictures. We just hope that nobody’s mouth waters when they look at a Chihuahua or that blueberry muffins are now banned from diets because they look like Chihuahuas.
Happy Boo Bear day. Hope no one suffers from triskaidekaphobia today.

Greetings!
I am laughing at this picture! Never realized how closely a blueberry muffin resembles a Chihuahua. Snort! I hope none of the dogs are named Muffin… :^)
RIO! 90 degrees is way too hot for May! Although it is no where near as hot in this neck of the woods, it is very humid today. My hair looks a bit like a Brillo pad.
Good day to all!

Very interesting comparison with muffins and dogs!
Rio!! We are in the same weather pattern. Starting last week our temps shot up to mid 90s. Expecting 100 some day this week. Miserable.
Mliauppa! I am going to try your idea for the butterfly/bee bath. Lowe’s is on my list of errands this afternoon. Thank you for the idea.

Cooler!…Today thankfully!…grunt!…My friend bought 3 new windows and 2 of them were installed today. The 3rd larger one will be put in tomorrow. My friend is psyched that these new windows will keep the cold out in the winter and the cool air in in the summer…snort!…’ the plan anyways! Plus she says she can actually open the windows to let a nice summer breeze in if there ever is such a thing…sniff!

I had totally forgotten it was Friday the 13th. Glad I spent the day at home, inside because it is peak heat of the week.
I’ve seen the chihuahua muffins before. Funny stuff.
Boobear: I’m sure the butterflies and bees will appreciate it. You will need to fill it daily as with so much less water it will evaporate faster.
Windows that open are always a good thing.
But if you own an historic home, best to keep the original windows if you have them. Often they will last a lot longer than modern ones, that only last about 20 years. You can do a lot of things to increase efficiency in older windows. New windows don’t look the same either, no matter how much they try. IMHO better to pay a little more and keep the original windows. Put the money in insulating the attic and walls. My Mother replaced the original windows of their 1960 house and not only do they look awful but after five years one is already broken; the cord that operates it or the screen in some way is broken. Didn’t lower the heating bill much either as their attic and walls are still uninsulated.
I put insulation in my attic and my bill went down the first winter. The house is a bit cooler in the summer too as the heat doesn’t sink it from the attic.
But the cheapest way to save is to….shut off the furnace and get a few big dogs to sleep in the bed with you.

Mlaiuppa!…HA!…Or even a couple of fatty pugs…snorkel!…Course there is a chance one will be kept up from all the burping, farting and dream running (the only time a pug really runs)…snuffle!

One can never have too many dogs in the bed, unless they don’t leave enough room for you in which case….buy a bigger bed.
Ever seen the movie The Great Race? The scenes in the Duchy of Pottsdorf? The prince has five pugs. They stole all of the scenes they had with Jack Lemon.
For those staying up late to check on Chet, today is International Hummus Day, National Crouton Day and National Blame Someone Else Day.
I blame the cat, who was involved.
