Reader Questions (More)

Back to reader questions. Lizz Osterman writes (about Up On The Woof Top, the new Chet and Bernie Christmas/holiday novel, coming Oct. 17 and now pre-orderable. The series can be read in any order, by the way):
“Does Chet get to help Santa pull his sleigh?”
What a great, mind-reader type question! Here’s a sneak peek from Chapter 17:
That gave Georgette an idea. I could see it on her face. Her eyes found Bernie in the crowd. Not a big crowd, to be accurate. We stick to the facts in this business.
“Bernie?” she said. “Do you think Chet would go for getting harnessed up to the sleigh? We could make it look like he’s pulling Ariadne.”
“Nice idea,” Bernie said. “But not his kind of thing.”
Bernie’s always right of course, so I pretended I hadn’t heard him.

    Interesting.

I guess we know now that Chet is NOT part Husky. Or any of the other arctic breeds that pull sleds. Or any of the other breeds that pull wagons.

Franklin had a visit this morning form one of his good friends, Miss Tillie and they had a great time playing together in our back yard. Warning to Ms. Freyja, you do have some competition to deal with.

    Greetings!

Franklin appears to be quite the ladies man! :^)

    Good afternoon to all!

Freyja says she’s not worried as Tillie has no hair to speak of. I think she overestimates the lure of her fluffiness but I won’t disabuse her of her infatuation. It’s not like she’ll be traveling so this will just be a long distance doomed romance. They’ll have to be content being paw-pals.

Glad Tillie and Franklin had such fun.

Every once in a while Freyja still gets the zoomies and I have seen her playing with one of Diana’s tennis balls every once in a while. Always brings a smile to my face to see her blossom into the dog she was meant to be.
