I’ve been a little down this week and then I had an idea – Chet and Bowser. I’ll read a Chet book and then a Bowser book. Of course, Chet wins out because he has more books.(I think he’d like the whole winning part.) Anway, thanks for your wonderful books. They really have given me a boost this week.

Rio: I am in Russia. Not colluding. But we did go by Putkin’s office building in the Kremlin.
Color of church domes… gold means church dedicated to Christ, green means dedicated to the local saint, Black or brown means dedicated to monestery in town, blue means our lady something or other.
We tour lots of churches, all interesting and beautiful. Tour people visiting the continent say ABC: another beautiful church. When one reaches the saturation point it is ABCD: another beautiful church dammit.

ALR: I already wear orthotics but will be seeing a podiatrist for sure when I am home. I am fortunate that I was able to join another group. We see the same thing but are bussed between sites and given free time. I still walk 4 miles a day. When another person who is handicapped helps you, it is very touching.

Wow! Three does and fawn in our front yard tonight grazing on clover and rye grass. Love seeing the Bambis. Hope this weekend is good for all our friends.

Garden!…Lots of work in the “seems like it is getting bigger every day” yard….wheeze!…How did the ole lady who used to live here keep up with it all? Apparently she didn’t and that is why my friend has so many projects to do…gasp!…So each day, unless it is extremely hot and humid, she does 2 or 3 things….sniff!…This way at least some progress is made in the several garden spots…snort!
80++!…Degrees tonight and she was out cutting down stuff and giving the garden a drink. The tomatoes are looking like they may or may not ripen soon. Still we are hopeful…yeeeep!…Now there are actual little bell peppers on the 2 plants she had room for. This is exciting because the Bro-In-Law said peppers do not do well at all here unless you miracle-grow them…grunt!…So there! We will have peppers without miracle-grow soon!…chuffle!
