We watched Dallas some back in the day. Never tuned in to the new series. Larry started out in I Dream of Jeannie, didn’t he? His mother was Mary Martin, who did Peter Pan among other things.

I have finished a book called Empire of the Summer Moon that has a girl captured by the Comanches when she was 9 years old. She did not want to return to her former live either. It feels like winter here! It’s cold and very very windy. We even had some flurries today, but nothing like youse guys with all the snow, darn it.
Tonight, we will be glued to the t.v. Watching our season make-or-break game vs the hateful Trojans. Even Dima’s best friend Drew will be here. We know a lot of you guys are not into sports, and nobody except Bluecat is a (sometimes) Irish fan, but we’d appreciate it if youse all could send positive thoughts for the Fighting Irish tonight. If we win this game, we will be 12-0 and will play for the National Championship. If not, well, lets just say we are locking up the guns and not letting the rents near any bridges.

Barb – pop Warner, who was Jim Thorps coach ( and who later threw him under the bus with the Olympics ) is the namesake of a junior spots league. Kind of like Little League, there is also the Pop Warner kids.
