Hello All–Large scary machines are doing something to the paving infront of my house, which a) kind of ruined the mood for this morning’s walk (Conan just stared at the giant trucks); and b) is unsettling the entire day (and possibly week)–I may be trapped inside and the kids won’t get their hair done!
The prospect of a Chet and Bernie summer is one of the few things going well today.
Hobbit–It will all get caught up shortly and you will wind down. If you have any visions or anything, please be sure to take notes.

tI worked on two sewing machines this a.m. One from 1877 (the new Model 12). The other is from the early 1900’s. I put a hand crank on it and am supposed to check the stitch quality but instead I am writing to you.
I saw the first Rose Breasted Grosbeak of the season this morning. I saw a Say’s Phoebe yesterday. That is the one that is rare in this part of North Dakota. The spring migrants are starting to appear.
OK off to the sewing machine again and then…quilting! Yippee!

No Starbucks for this girl til she gets to ABQ – the flight is over 3 hours and the plane is PACKED. They are BEGGING people to switch flights. The plane here was delightful- half empty, no squealing children, no bumps. This next flight is going to be tuff.
