Love the name of the bookstore where Spence is appearing tonight! I’m sure those who are attending tonight will have a fun time.

    Good day to all!

Heh! I just GOOGLED Plainville, and found out that An Unlikely Story is operated by Jeff Kinney, the author of The Wimpy Kid series. :^)

    What a day!
Waiting a day to begin. Hate to admit it but I have two chapters in another book to
    finish (shame on me).
OFA, we hope there will be other live visits. I,ll be there if it’s not too far away.

Poison Pen! …We just watched the Poisoned Pen Event from last night. Excellent as usual. Although Barbara tends to get off track sometimes but she is very knowledgeable …wuffle!…Loved seeing our Author looking healthy and fit!…snort!

I agree Barbara does tend to birdwalk a bit.

Dogs may not hold grudges but Chet does under some circumstances.

I am surprised when cats came up that the Arthur and Queenie books were not mentioned. Especially since they are open ended with some unresolved elements that just scream for another book. The Bowser and Birdie books are pretty much ended with closure but not so the Arthur and Queenie books. There could be more of those.

I did enjoy the dog discussion and the decisions about Chet. I agree. Killing off the dog is the cheapest, laziest way to make the reader cry and I no longer read any books or see any movies where the dog dies.
