We would like to mention that the prayer last night was another collaboration between us and Rebecca. And thanks to her for posting – we were all out in the backyard sending up prayers for healing for all our friends.

OMD, two more kinds of Butterflies came to the butterfly bush this a m . A large brown and orange ish and a smaller (tho bigger than a skipper) that is brown/orange with a white blob at the back of the wing, This is fun! Looked at one point that Mrs. Hummer and a butterfly were jockeying for the blossom.

I read Iggy before I got out of bed this morning. I had highlighted two sentences that reminded me of YSAS when he was young. As he is ADHD – emphasis on the H – it sometimes seems that he and Chet are related.
Unforunately, the highlighted area disappeared.
Fortunately,I get to read that wonderful story again to find those sentences!

An early photo of Teddy. Because we do not plan on showing him, this is probably the only time that this pose would ever be struck. I refer to it as his “glam shot,” and it was taken by the breeder at about 7 weeks (so it was a couple of days before we got him). Note the brown collar in front (he was then known simply as as Mr. Brown), and the substance on the spoon is peanut butter.

I also found that link, Melanie. Thanks. They sound like nice dogs, but I’m wondering if any of you have any persnal knowledge of that breed. For sure, they can’t be as good as Sibes, but these guys are mixed with some of our guys so there is hope. 🙂

I think I see a bit of a resemblance between Bob and Teddy. They are both awfully fuzzy and good looking.
Rio: I thought trees were where you were supposed to urinate. You should’ve been busted for urinating on a house plant.

I am glad that Iggy got out of the house for awhile and what an adventure he had. I hope he is back home with Mr. & Mrs. Parsons now getting tummies.

I’m named after Chet’s best pal, but unlike Chet’s Iggy I don’t have any chronicles. This makes me worrit. What if I lost them? What if my brothers ate them? Do you need to turn them in like a library book? I don’t have money to pay any fines and Belle Starr has already ‘splained to me that the wages of sin are misleading. Junior says he’ll help me find my chronicles as soon as he finds his eyebrows. Great! —now, there is something else I’m supposed to have and don’t know where they’re hiding.

MacyMinPin: That was it! I loved the 1957 Liberty stamp you sent me. It is super nice as is the postmark of Georgetown Texas from back in the days when they took pride in making the postmarks legible.
I also got envelopes back from Gus & BooBear (very nice set of three flag stamps, equality, liberty and freedom), Linda the Lurker (a whole bunch of stamped envelopes), Snowhook Kennels (head bumps). I really liked BStover’s Fort Sumpter stamp and Rose’s cartoon stamp. And Spencer Quinn’s forever stamp with the windmill postmark. Heh, heh. Fun, fun, fun.

BooBear here. Gus is eating very little, but at least something. His eyes are still alert and Mom and Dad are hopeful that he will make another comeback. We think he is only on his 6th or 7th life so he should be good for it. Y’all keep the pawsitive thoughts and prayers coming.
Maggie, now that Barb is planning to go north to Alaska, is she still planning on the trip to Fort Worth? She had mentioned the other day that they were all having 2nd thoughts about the wedding trip.

Gosh, what a busy blog this has been! First, Bella became a darling little pixie, the quilt is covering many hurting souls, the Iggy Chronicals arrived, and Mollypop’s mom got a new dog. Whew. The prayers were lovely last night, even if they did become a bit blurry.

Thank you to all youse for the birthday wishes for the Giant. He left this morning to go back to work. We celebrated his birthday over the past weekend while he was home. The celebrations included a date—lunch and a matinee—and an ice cream cake. His favorite. I gave him a new chore coat which I found at 75% at the end of last season. I couldn’t wait to give it to him.
Gus&BooBear: SDD checked. Auction items recieved. Thanks!
Dima: Tenzing is insisting on being with you for your surgery tomorrow. He wants to make sure the quilt is covering despite the tubes and whatnots. Luna is going to drop Belle Starr off to Smooch Wose and then blur to youse to help Kat with smooching your mama. Katdog and Princess Sam, Luna wants to know if you’re available to help BooBear with all things smooch?

If I remember correctly prayers are needed tomorrow at 12pm Dima Time. Staff, I think that means 11am for you, 10am for Rio and Siber to kick in their pug prayers.
