Promises

I was going to post about something today – did I even make a promise? Promises being something I’m not totally clear on, by the way. But I kind of remember I did. The problem is what was the post going to be about? No clue at this point. Maybe if I just lie down and let my mind wander …

Got it! Chew strips! First thing that  popped into my mind, and what a great subject! The thing about chew strips is they’re not quite food and not quite toys, but something in between. What a concept! Beef flavor is my favorite, but chicken’s not bad. Once I had a run-in with a rooster. Oh, boy. We’ll go into that another time, plus there’s the cockfighting case Bernie and I worked on in Mexico. Scary stuff, amigo.

But in the meantime, I’ll just get back to … whatever it was. Maybe a bit later, because all of a sudden my eyelids got very heavy. Does that ever happen to you?

Pack life, Chet…and, what happened at the vet’s, and, where is Iggy? Not promises, just unanswered questions. Human life is filled with them. Enjoy your nap.

Eyelids getting heavy – happened to me all day today.

Chew strips for dogs. Chewing gum for people. Cud for cows. I can’t think of anybody else who needs to chew… can you?
