Petunia (More)

Many thanks to Lori Overholt Hastings for sending this along re Petunia, Chet’s October friend of the month (next month this could be you – just post a pic to the FB page!):
“Thank you so much Peter!! Petunia is beside herself with happiness as am I !! Petunia is a rescue dog from Mell’s Mutts in Fresno, Ca. She was abandoned in a orchard And was about 6 weeks old. I fostered then adopted her. She is 4.5 lbs of energy and pure love! She loves to go for walks and car rides! We have already been on a road trip to Arizona seeing such amazing sights as the Grand Canyon, Petrified Forest and Painted Desert just to name a few. She is the best companion now that I have retired. Petunia loves to play with her many toys and chase after very small tennis balls 🎾. All the neighborhood kids love her and she loves them too. She is a fierce protector of my backyard from the squirrels and birds that like to tease her, always chattering at her. I can’t sit down without her climbing in my lap to snuggle 🥰 and give lots of kisses. She is a tiny dog 🐕 with a big heart! ❤️

Petunia and her person are lucky to have each other. She sounds like quite a little character.
    Have a terrific Tuesday everyone.
