Palindrome
“Today,” says Bernie, “is a palindrome.” I know palindrome – some kind of camel. Never actually seen a camel myself, except on Animal Planet. The smell could be interesting.
“You know,” he says, “like Madam I’m Adam, or a man, a plan, a canal – Panama!”
“Bernie?” says Suzie, “can you pass the sugar?”
We’re still having fun in St. Lucia.

Happy Newf Year all. Somehow I missed yesterday's greeting.
Snowing like mad here.
Chet, you and Bernie have a great time down where it's warm. I'm staying in. The Newfs took my Dad's Christmas sweater out in the snow. It is now wet and a weird shape.

I like 01210. For some reason, this brings to mind the Fibonacci series of numbers…
0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21. After 21, I get bored and wander off to investigate other matters. How about exponents? 10 dog biscuits to the power of 2 (10^2)…that is a whole lot of snacks, Chet. Whoa!

Loved the book. Looking forward to the next one. Took a couple of pages to get into the talking dog but then, I didn't know what to expect.
