Go, Dog, Go! Love the link. Good morning plunderers!
8:51 am on July 19th, 2011
Good morning back at ya, Jasper! Are you getting all settled in?
Even though we love English Shepherds over here for obvious reasons, we will have to go along with the majority – not quite what we pictured for Chet. Melanie is probably right, maybe some GSD and BC thrown in to the mix in the cover shot, but we still pictured Chet more as a Malinois type.
8:54 am on July 19th, 2011
Barb is getting ready to take off for the Crazy Lady place for the day. Will come home at noon to check on me and all the outside critters, because it will be beastly hot today.
Barb is going to be back a little later to tell you what is going on at work and get youse guys’ valued opinions.
8:55 am on July 19th, 2011
Good Tuesday Morning to you Jasper, and B&M!
Love that Paco! Proves you don’t have to be big to be intimidating!
9:03 am on July 19th, 2011
Good Morning Jasper and Barb&Maggie & to Everyone.
That Paco is one ferocious little dude!
9:05 am on July 19th, 2011
Rose! Bear messed up our side-by-side positings
9:15 am on July 19th, 2011
I don’t know Masquers, I think BearSpiritDog fits in there quite well!
Zoë and I loved the AAAD video. That is so TRUE! Sunday I couldn’t find the large dolly. Looked everywhere for it, Zoë looked everywhere for it, we kept finding things to do, but no large dolly. The Mechanical Engineer came by to move heavy things. We walked out to the Stockade while I was mentioned the lost dolly, he said, “You mean this dolly right there?” Smack on the forehead time. Hiding in plain sight!
Staff: Chet’s right leg is actually in the right place. The problem is white on the front leg seems to make it part of the tummy.
Good, Paco, Good dog!
Patsy will be going to the vet next week. She is doing better today. She is going to continue the antibiotics and if she does not continue to get better she’s going in!!
9:21 am on July 19th, 2011
To Macy & G&BB and all who are in heat index country, from my friend who lives near Dallas:
YOU KNOW YOU ARE IN TEXAS IN JULY WHEN. . . .
The birds have to use potholders to pull worms out of the ground.
The trees are whistling for the dogs…
Stay cool Everybody.
9:25 am on July 19th, 2011
What a bark Paco has!
Good morning all.
9:27 am on July 19th, 2011
Paco the wonder dog ! I hope he gets nice treats from all the neighbors.
9:31 am on July 19th, 2011
Bluecat! How do all the Kool Kats survive in that hear?! The weather guys are saying this year is a real scorcher.
9:54 am on July 19th, 2011
Paco is my kind of dog. I would have done the same thing.
9:59 am on July 19th, 2011
Scorcher!… Yesterday I thought my tail was on fire!…snort!…I was laying in the shade but the sun was hitting me back there…sniff!…I woke up with a start and ran in circles trying to put out the fire…grunt!
10:00 am on July 19th, 2011
It is so hot here that Barb made me a special frozen treat: 1/4 parts each: smashed ripe bananas, creamy peanut butter, plain yogurt, vanilla ice cream. I get a little dish as a treat, and it is yummy!
11:37 am on July 19th, 2011
Cousin Sammie thinks she is a very big dog – maybe a 100-pounder like Chet. I won’t say anything to spoil her image of herself (whispering – she weighs 6 pounds), but about this movie actress Princess stuff, I’m not so sure.
11:57 am on July 19th, 2011
Molly!…Maybe Sammie should go into the Security business with
TacoPaco…snort!12:02 pm on July 19th, 2011
Maggie: The frozen treat Barb made for you sounds so good. What a cool mom!
Melanie: Glad you & Zoe liked the link yesterday. Nana says that could have been her in the video. Also, there’s the experience of walking into a room for something then forgetting why you are there. So you have to go back to the point of origin to refresh your memory. Makes for a long day (lol)
12:07 pm on July 19th, 2011
Hello all..Hope everyone is feeling OK. Seems the blog goes over 100 each day now. Have been sick with allergies for the first time. How do people stand it..it is miserable. Nothing seems to help.
Wookie: I loved Due South & kept waiting for it to come back. Such a good show.
Rio: I agree re Michael’s hair..awful!
The new cover is pretty, but I liked the old style with just Bernie and Chet on the cover. It was more striking that way and you could imagine what Chet looked like. Yes, Debbie, it does remind me of Nancy Drew mysteries. The green on the cover sort of reminds me of a jungle. I think having the girl on the cover takes away from the mystery of just having the back of Bernie and Chet. I did not see the ARC picture. Where can I see what it looked like?
Rio & Siber-H: The Giants are going to meet Pres. Obama Monday. I bet Wilson will not be wearing this..Do you think it is a bit over the top? If the picture comes out tooo big I am sorry, can’t figure out how to control the size.

12:08 pm on July 19th, 2011
Staff’s link last night to a Friend of Chet photo is very close to what I pictured Chet looking like. That is a very good looking dog in that photo.
Chet could even look like Bear if Bear had stand up ears instead of those cute floppy ones.
Our daily high temperatures are only around 95 degress, but it is a “dry heat” since the monsoon is a big disappointment so far.
12:21 pm on July 19th, 2011
Mollie (ABP) tee hee It is a bit over the top . Surely he won’t be wearing it, but I wonder what he will be wearing. I like Wilson. He’s funny and I think a character like him is good for baseball.
Mom read a book, “A Band of Misfits,” on the Giants World Series Season that she really liked.
I don’t know how to find the cover of the ARC. I looked for it yesterday and couldn’t find it. I bet someone here knows how to find it.
12:34 pm on July 19th, 2011
In a rush—but I still have the link to the auction site on our blog so you can view the auction items. http://www.snowhookkennel.blogspot.com. If you scroll down a bit, the link is on the right hand side. You can see the ARC cover.
12:39 pm on July 19th, 2011
Debbie – I did think of the Nancy Drew mysteries. Besides, that dog is NOT Chet!
Staff – That’s what I thought Chet looked like too.
We will be very happy to have the book, sans cover, on the Kindle.
12:48 pm on July 19th, 2011
Thanks Rebecca, I found it. Yesterday I just didn’t scroll down far enough.
12:49 pm on July 19th, 2011
Wilson . . . snicker
Is he the one who uses black shoe polish on his beard? OTAS is thinking of growing his beard like that. I asked him not to use the black shoe polish, I think his auburn color is beautiful. Since he won’t grow his hair out on top of his head, at least I’ll be able to see it on his face!
12:57 pm on July 19th, 2011
Siber-H: Sometimes one of my ears will stand up, but not for long. Mom says I could be like the Flying Nun.
Staff: A lot of us agree with you about what Chet should look like.
It’s too bad Spence & Admin didn’t think of having the Plunderers and Friends of Chet choose the cover. Then there wouldn’t be all this controversy.
12:59 pm on July 19th, 2011
Thanks. Found it. I like the ARC cover better. It’s less Nancy Drewish. I like the desert look and it still looks mysterious.
1:00 pm on July 19th, 2011
Masquers: I love Bear, but I love when our postings are side-by-side more.
New York is getting a string of hot weather days. The seven forecast is for temps 90-100, with high humidity.
Wonder if the Newfs would invite me to the pool?
1:02 pm on July 19th, 2011
Melanie, yes Wilson is the one that “colors” his beard . I don’t know whether he does it with shoe polish or has it professionally done. Mom says he is a really good looking guy without the facial hair. Me, I just think he is very good at what he does so the beard must be working for him.
1:03 pm on July 19th, 2011
BSD: How right you are. The Plunders should have been asked. I wonder how many on the blog like the new cover and how may do not like it. I bet next time they will ask the Plunders for advice before choosing a cover.
1:10 pm on July 19th, 2011
Hi everyone – HI there Mollie! We’ve missed you!
Somehow we don’t think the Plunderers will be asked about future covers – look at the discussions about the patch!
And we always loved that expression “A horse designed by a committee ends up being a camel”.
(whispering – but we do wish someone had asked – we really don’t like that new cover – the ARC was better)
1:18 pm on July 19th, 2011
I would say that some of the cover art and color has to do with catching the eye of new readers. There is probably some study somewhere that says “Green is the way to go to catch the eye!” or “People love dogs, but they want to see the whole dog.” or “Need the hint of romance on the cover to help sell your book!”
Rose, yes come up and swim. Just know that after all the work we put in the last week . . . the standing platform came apart! Carpola!
1:40 pm on July 19th, 2011
On Chet’s Facebook page there’s a link to an interview with Spence. Here’s the link:

T&G and Herbs, tell your mom the jacket is on the way. Mom was really nervous sending it ground USPS, but priority was triple the cost. You should have seen Mom trying to box it to keep everything straig
ht. There are even some little pillows in there to help hold the shape during shipping. Be sure to unbox (is that a word?) when it arrives and let us know it is ok. The guy said probably a week.
Maggie, a Malinois type…yes!
Maggie, a malinois
1:47 pm on July 19th, 2011
Hard to type that much on th Iphone!
1:50 pm on July 19th, 2011
The cover looks to us like a story of “A Couple and mischievous their dog. What will Toby Get Into Next!”
Gotta love Paco!
Mom just found out that she is going to DC in a few weeks. Dad has a school to attend in Maryland, and they are going to be together on Saturday, then mom will be ALONE on Monday and Tuesday. What on earth was dad thinking. He did not even ask mom if she WANTED to go. Plus she figures that it is not much cooler there than here. Grump…
1:58 pm on July 19th, 2011
Siber-H: Mom is ordering A Band of Misfits. It sounds very interesting. Wilson is quite a character from the looks of it.
Melanie: We agree. Attracting the attention of new readers is something the publishers are always aiming for, and, with the vivid green colors in the cover art, the book certainly does stand out.
Sorry about the standing platform. Good grief – what next!
2:04 pm on July 19th, 2011
Wow!
Bluecat: That is hot weather when the trees start whistling. Funny.
BearSpiritDog: That video resembles me at times. That and putting important things in “safe places” then not being able to find them. Runs in the family. My brother called me last night because I’d sent him an important piece of paper and he’d put it in a safe place and could I send another because he couldn’t find it.
MollieABP: Sorry about your allergies. I’m lucky only having one allergy – to lobster, and they don’t grow around here. That picture of Wilson is definitely over the top. Heh.
Poor Nancy Drew. She’s gonna get a complex. I don’t mind the cover at all (but of course I will be getting the ARC as well. Eventually.). Hmmmm excuse the punctuation B. I admit I pictured Chet more German Shepardy but this Chet is way better than a camel.
2:11 pm on July 19th, 2011
B: The ARC cover will go very well with the new story we think. No sense in wasting a good thing.
2:17 pm on July 19th, 2011
Macy: Tell your mom that it may even be more humid in DC but it’s a fun place to tour.
2:21 pm on July 19th, 2011
I’m thinking we all need to meet up here:
The largest off-leash public dog park in the nation is Point Isabel Regional Shoreline. The 23-acre landscaped park in Northern California offers views of Marin and the Golden Gate Bridge. Over 500,000 dogs and their owners visit it each year.
2:30 pm on July 19th, 2011
Poor SQ! We bet we won’t get to see the cover of book 5 until the day it’s released. Of course, he should know we all have very strong opinions on this blog and not shy about expressing them! (still don’t like it!)
Welcome back, MollieABP!
2:31 pm on July 19th, 2011
That looks like a great place to have a party! Good idea, Macy!
Also it’s very humid in DC right now. Hmm. I remember some place that you could be in your hotel and go shopping because the mall was underground . . .
Very good AC in the museums too! My guys favorites? Air and Space but also Museum of Natural Histor and the Corcoran Gallery of Art.
There is also a Spy Museum. We never went there not sure it was there 20 some odd years ago. I wonder if they have a picture of Wöökie?
2:33 pm on July 19th, 2011
It is so hot and humid here that the birds are keeping their beaks open. I assume that helps them cool off.
2:35 pm on July 19th, 2011
What a fun dog park that would be, Macy. Mom would have trouble keeping up with me in that one.
BTW, Your description of the cover is a good one. If mom saw that book in a book store she might think it was a “cozy” and reject it. She didn’t read Nancy Drew growing up so that doesn’t work for her either.
We do love that dog on the cover, but it is NOT Chet.
I’m sure the marketing people know more than mom and I do.
2:35 pm on July 19th, 2011
Here B.Stover: Everything you wanted to know and more about panting birds.
http://www.knoxnews.com/news/2007/Sep/02/birds-like-dogs-pant-to-beat-summers-high-pant
2:42 pm on July 19th, 2011
I keep forgetting to say: I’m sure Sam would have done just what Paco did.
Thanks Melanie. I’ll look at the site.
2:48 pm on July 19th, 2011
Melanie: Interesting article. The birds are using the birdbath in my garden a lot also.
SH: I think you’re giving marketing people credit for more smarts than they may have.
2:50 pm on July 19th, 2011
Thanks for the link, Stover. Yark! Yark!
There is going to be a puppy in the new book and the Old West! It doesn’t get any better than this.
2:51 pm on July 19th, 2011
Interview!… Did you guys catch the remark Spencer made about us in the interview?…snort!…” The commenters turn out to be bright and witty…”…heh!….It’s a good thing he didn’t slip and say “The Plunderers turn out to be bright and witty.” That would have opened a big can of worms….snort! …Then the interview would have been a bit more informative…gruffle!
Commenters!… Is that a real word??….heckle!
3:00 pm on July 19th, 2011
Excitement!…Not to throw a water balloon on your excitement SiberH, but when I read the interview I thought Spencer said the puppy shows up at the end of ‘Dog Who’ and the next book will have the Wild West in it …snort! …Not sure what he meant with the Hollywood comment….grunt!
3:10 pm on July 19th, 2011
B & Melanie: You know it’s hot when birds pant.
Macy: That 23 acre dog park sounds like heaven for dogs!
3:10 pm on July 19th, 2011
You are right, Rio. ok…I’ll have the Old West to look forward to in the next book and maybe the puppy will be in there also.
sob, sob, It will be a long time till that book comes out, but I know it will be worth the wait.
3:37 pm on July 19th, 2011
This morning’s Superhero Chihuhua

3:42 pm on July 19th, 2011
Riö, is your tail singed now? I was concerned when I read about you this morning.
Hollywood . . . well, PA certainly has experience with that! Probably not a great experience . . .
I have to admit that the pool certain cools the dogs and me off! I’m glad it’s not the size of a bird bath though.
3:43 pm on July 19th, 2011
Rio, Spence’s comment about Hollywood is meant for Me! Me! Oh boy, I gotta get some hair growing.
3:52 pm on July 19th, 2011
Melanie, yes, the day that mom and dad have together will for sure involve the spy museum. This is mom’s fifth trip to DC and she wants to see things that she has not seen. She is thinking of going to the zoo. It has a lot of indoor exhibits to break up the heat. The reality of being all alone in a strange city is beginning to bug her a little bit, but not that much. She freaked dad out by telling him that she was going to catch a train to NYC. She is not quite THAT fearless. Say…how far is Chevy Chase? heh heh.. Don’t worry Wooks, she will not be doing any impromptu visits. It is just that everything seems to be so close together up there. Last time mom was in DC she took the Metro from Virgina, through DC and then to Maryland all in a little over an hour. Why, you ask? Because she could!! It is only a little over an hour to Oklahoma from here, but in other directions you could drive all day and not leave the state..
Hey Mollie (ABP)
4:06 pm on July 19th, 2011
Melanie!…I’m not going to answer you because you never answer my questions…grunt!
5:22 pm on July 19th, 2011
Had an early dinner with my brother and sister-in-law because they’re on their way to the airport.
I never knew bees could swim but they are….in the birdbath.
5:38 pm on July 19th, 2011
I had my 365 day checkup and oil change and I am doing great. I don’t have to have lab work every month now. I can go to 2 months for the next year. Yip yip yippee!
Now I am going to reward myself with quilting with my pals tonight. BBL
5:38 pm on July 19th, 2011
Rio: Yes, there is such a word as commentator: noun–one who makes commentaries.
5:38 pm on July 19th, 2011
Hello All! It is really really hot here. Mom and Pop made us stay indoors all day long! So we don’t have long, as we have to make up for lost time. Who knows what critters might have used the opportunity of our absence to creep around the farm?
We think all of our comments about the cover for TDWKTM points out how desperately we all await the release of the book! We hope Spencer took it that way. We are also glad we will be reading it on our Kindle so that we don’t let that image of Chet change the way we picture him while we read it.
We loved reading Spencer’s interview ! Can’t believe he mentioned all of his friends on the blog, and said we were bright and witty!
5:53 pm on July 19th, 2011
Macy — Tell your mom that The Spy Museum is definitely worth it (although I am still negotiating my exhibit there). The zoo is really neat too (so I’ve heard), and both are easily accessible via the subway. Chevy Chase is not that far out on the Maryland side, although not quite on the subway line, but my dad’s office (the infamous busy place) is only a couple of blocks from the Spy Museum, so definitely let mes know when they are coming. Wookie
5:56 pm on July 19th, 2011
Uh, Riö? What questions? Don’t forget that I’ve been exhausted . . .
(I am concerned about your tail)
Congratulations STAFF!
Please cross paws and tails for YSAS! He might be in core background on a series!
(This is a good thing)
From the bright and witty, Melanie
5:57 pm on July 19th, 2011
Macy, the zoo is cool. Took both guys there; they were very interested in the pigeons. I started wondering if they were nearsighted . . .
Turns out they weren’t! They just liked the pigeons!
5:59 pm on July 19th, 2011
Staff: That is wonderful!
6:03 pm on July 19th, 2011
Staff: Good News!!!
Going to take a nap – like Melanie am exhausted.
6:29 pm on July 19th, 2011
YSAS’s dinner.
Fire Escape Pesto, Gluton Free noodles, Tuna Fish Salad, Coleslaw, and Chicken

6:30 pm on July 19th, 2011
What!
Melanie always answers my questions, (and she is bright and witty when she does) sometimes the next day.
Boardwalk Empire (first season)has started up. I missed the first two episodes. Do you, Melanie, know which episode YSAS is in? I suppose it is in the first or second episode (just my luck). I remember that he is in a scene in a doctor’s office behind a pregnant woman. Fingers, toes and eyes (briefly) crossed for a core background part for YSAS.
6:42 pm on July 19th, 2011
Mom is now up and about – still sick but trying to ignore it. We just went back to her Friday birthday, the day she was the sickest, to see what went on that day. Wow! What a day she sort of missed! She says thank you to everyone except Sam, who snitched about her age. All you guys are the absolute best!
6:57 pm on July 19th, 2011
Now Mom is trying to catch up on the results of the auction. We think Dawson gets the Nova Needlepoint. Is that correct? If so, we need an address to send it to.
7:19 pm on July 19th, 2011
Dawson, let me think. If it’s just starting up now, he’s all dressed up in a tux and attending a speak easy with a woman. I think the bathing suit is much later.
I’ll ask him when I talk to him next. Probably tomorrow before rehearsal.
I was going to write something else to, but AAADD has hit. Time to watch some Eureka.
7:41 pm on July 19th, 2011
Mollypop: I sent Snowhook my address. When they receive my check they will give you my address. Unless the marauding goats have got my mail. Sob, sob sob.
7:48 pm on July 19th, 2011
Dawson – Send it to me now. I was too sick to remember to bring it back with me here to Ellicottville yesterday, but I will be back at Sam’s on Friday and get it in the mail to you. Reneaudunn at gmail dot com
7:50 pm on July 19th, 2011
Bee, It is so hot here we were afraid we were going to be losing the chickens to the heat. They too have their beaks open, their wings hanging down. and looking generally miserable. So far none dead. Thee heat index here is 115, and tomorrow supposed to be slightly hotter, than starting to cool off. Today Barb brought home a fan and that is now running in the coop. Hopefully that will help. Most of the birds are out in their shady pen, but they go in when it starts getting dark, and temps are supposed to be in the mid 90s overnight.
I’m telling you folks – Global Warming, and it’s going to get worse.
7:55 pm on July 19th, 2011
Mid 90s overnight, B&M ??? Thats crazy!
8:11 pm on July 19th, 2011
Barb & MagPie, perhaps a sprinkler in their run?
I am headed off to bed! Thank goodness.
8:14 pm on July 19th, 2011
You guys are having insane heat over there! Yikes. Stay cool, especially the doggies. Very cold here…
8:18 pm on July 19th, 2011
Barb & Maggie – great recipe for frozen treat – I’ll try it out for Wookie (he read it and is INSISTING!!!) Macy you and Mom are welcome to come visit us in Chevy Chase. We are right over the District line. Unfortunately, this is not the best time to go to DC since we are as hot as you with about 1000% humidity. I’ve been in Equatorial countries that feel cooler than we do right now. If you haven’t been to Mt. Vernon in the past 2 years you really should go – great new visitors venter and they have reconstructed George’s gristmill, distillery and more on his farm also. Very, very good! Spy Museum, eh! Not so much personally. But as you know always lots on at the Smithsonian and the Phillips collection is wonderful also.
8:59 pm on July 19th, 2011
This is how we picture Chet to look, although maybe not so black. Have no idea who this is, but the dog looks like he would initially scare the bejeeses out of perks and bad guys.

9:03 pm on July 19th, 2011
Or like BearSpiritDog with stand up ears (someone mentioned that earlier or yesterday).
9:09 pm on July 19th, 2011
MagPie! I hope Peaches will be okay.
9:29 pm on July 19th, 2011
Good night all.
9:39 pm on July 19th, 2011
Good night, B.
9:41 pm on July 19th, 2011
Maggie, could a sprinkler be put in front of the fan to make a kind of mister for the chickens? Or would the water freak them out too much? It’s awful to think they may not make it! How about the baby goats?
9:52 pm on July 19th, 2011
Alone!…I’ve been alone all afternoon…sniff!…Her mother left and never came back till my friend showed up with her about an hour ago…grunt!…Very strange goings on, very strange…wuffle!
Rockies!…The Rockies are ahead of those damned Atlanta Braves….wooooo!… We are downstairs watching the game now where it is nice and cool…snorkel!…It was hot all afternoon upstairs and nobody was around to turn on a fan or feed me or anything …sniffle! ….Thank goodness life is back to normal again…heh!
9:53 pm on July 19th, 2011
Chickens!…I wonder if those chickens are laying scrambled eggs…heh!heh!
9:55 pm on July 19th, 2011
Rio, do you have your little go phone so you could call the SPCA?
10:06 pm on July 19th, 2011
Hey!…That guy we know is at the game…heh!…He has front row seats behind home plate….snort!…I wish I had him on speed-dial…snuff!
Sammy!…The only number I know is my friends number, but she never answers when I call her…sniff!
10:08 pm on July 19th, 2011
Hungry!…When I was starving today and having Zinger withdrawls, I tried to call Dominoes….snort!…But they don’t understand the language of “Yeep”….grunt!
10:14 pm on July 19th, 2011
Rio, I think sometimes Bill lets other people use his front row seats…not tonight, but sometimes.
Maggie, I hope the chickens are going to be okay. It is really hot in your part of the country. Actually, it is hot in a big part of the country.
10:15 pm on July 19th, 2011
I can just imagine Spence taking notes here:
No girls on cover
Partial image of Chet, as seen from behind
No green
And perhaps most importantly, make sure the name is easy to condense!
10:26 pm on July 19th, 2011
Yup – that’s us – bright and witty! Spence may have had a few of you all in mind, but he was absolutely talking about US!
And that overgrown Border Collie on the cover ain’t Chet! Can you imagine that big old fluffy mutt staring down a perp? We don’t think so.
If there are marketing “geniuses” behind that cover, they should be fired. (whispering – Mama is in marketing, and she has seen some really dumb ideas passed off as having the new “Q” factor, when they are nothing else but just dumb ideas!)
10:30 pm on July 19th, 2011
Somebody from Jamaica called our house today and told my boys that we had won 2.5 million dollars AND a new BMW! And they were on our way to deliver it! All we needed to do is cough up $850 for the fees. Oh my goodness, were they a twitter! I could not convince them that this was a scam and that I had no intention of taking the afternoon off work to wait for the check!
I didn’t have the words to tell them that there are people mean enough and greedy enough to tell lies to total strangers and get their hopes up.

Wolfie – that is indeed mean of scammers who do this to naive and/or desperate people. If you can’t convince your boys, have them google “fake contest scams” or something like that. Maybe that will convince them.

Hey, y’all! Long day today. First Mom had to go to work, then she had to go to teach Vacation Bible School. She didn’t take me, and she didn’t leave the computer on for me either. Snort! But I’m here now!

Rio, that was really mean of your friend and her mother! You’ve gotten used to having those snacks during the day. Mom makes sure we get our whipped cream every morning after breakfast!

Rio: I did have it a bit better than you did. The rest of my family is here — along with those girl dogs — so I was able to
beg forrequest some treats during the day. And the ceiling fans are going full blast around here! That’s because Dad’s pretty stingy with the A/C — he says if he sets it any lower than 80 degrees our electric bill would be through the roof, and that’s pretty high from my viewpoint!11:17 pm on July 19th, 2011
Rio: If you could leave your backyard I’d invite you to come for a visit. You’d never be lonely around here!!!

Puss N’ Boots!… You guys should try having a Zinger with your whipped cream!…snort!snort!…Double goodness!

Rio. Right now the Rockies are looking pretty good against those dreaded Atlanta Braves. Just hope they can hold the lead. And it is good to see Ubaldo returning to finer form than earlier in the season. Wookie

Kirby T.: Checked and responded.
Dawson: Plunderers one, maurading goats zero. I received your payment today.
To all those who will be sending auction items to our big winner, Dawson: I will send emails with the appropriate address tomorrow evening. If you know her address, please don’t assume that it is the correct shipping address; it appears as though Dawson has crafted distribution strategy to avoid the marauding goats.
