    Good Morning All!

I saw O’Neil’s story yesterday. What a good dog, and we here in Westchester are so proud of him! What wonderful work the trainers do as well!

    Enjoy your day!

What is up with Beppe not being in his proper place?

On the subject of “clothes people wear” it reminds me of the old expression “Do any of these people own a mirror?”. Sometimes with bare midriffs and my personal ‘favorite’ men who are at least 50 pounds overweight in Speedos. Please……….!

Gooood morning, everyone! We think the “Beppe Debauchal” is a plot against the wee ones of the nation within. Bring back Beppe!

Wookie’s Mom, what about “clothes make the man (person)”? Oh where is that spandex & lame miniskirt when we need it?

Hope for more clement weather for all.

    Have a Frabjous Friday.

Whew, about to go out and do family wedding things.

Dressed Up? Sorta. Got on my jeans, tee shirt, my fancy high top canvas shoes (black with flowers on them) and my favorite purple shirt (given to my by The Herbs). I am ready to go! Breakfast, then home, then the other way down the hill for errands and to Golinka’s to pick up YSAS (Thanks for picking him up at the train), back for dinner here with other members of the family.

Oh, and if it doesn’t get WARMER, Zoë and I are wearing fleece and long underwear to the wedding!

Good morning all. We saw the video of O”Neil yesterday as well. The driver of that vehicle was 93 years old. They said the DMV is going to test her to see if she should be driving. We think this is a good example of an elder person who should no longer be driving.

Today is an absolutely PERFECT day in northern Illinois. We hope it is the same for all of you.

A few errands then we will be back.

Good job O’Neil. That is some scary footage.

Barb&Maggie: We had that beautiful sunny day yesterday. Enjoy it while you can. Today we are back to grey. I am appreciating the lower temperatures because I do melt in the heat.

R&R: Today is the day I will send a check to Snowhook. I will not forget. I am adding a donation for Macy’s young friend Grant who was taken too soon and, to make the amount even, the last bit of donation will be in honor of the non-working dogs of Snowhook. Those who take care of Rebecca and the Giant while the workers are off at their summer jobs.

Hooray! YSAS is in town. Hey T&G: Tell your mom to get him to help load the van for the bazaar.

Melanie, I am going to attempt blurring 20* of warm and sunshine to your town. And then, I will blur back 9″ of rain for the southwest states, especially Colorado.

(I am taking a deep breath. I am putting on a custom made weatherized Weather Blurring doggie suit, complete with a built in umbrella and sun shield.)

    And I’m off!

Thank you Dawson, for your sweet remembrance of Grant.

Am I the last person in the world to discover the shortcuts on th iPaw for ‘, “, ã, ë, etc? Me so slow.
The Old Man is about to leave for his interview, so I am just enjoying the knowledge that there is nothing I should be doing. There is a dog in the room next door who gives a friendly “woof” when we pass. There is also some kind of motorcycle convention here as well. Wish I had known, I could have worn a doorag down to breakfast!

All we ask is that certain body parts that should be covered ARE! And that includes pot bellies in speedos – ewwwwwww!

Please, please, please – let this interviewer be smart enough to know a gold mine when he sees one!

Speaking of licenses – Gramp finally did get his renewed. He had to do a rigamarole with the eye doc and the registry and all that, but he is renewed for 2 years. Of course, he and Mama had “the talk” and he will not be driving after dark, or in unfamiliar territory, or on highways, or in bad weather of any kind. But on nice days, he can drive himself to church, or take his dog to the park or the groomer, or go to the hardware store, etc.
    whew!
    Thank dog for that!

I don’t even like speedos on men who are “built”. Too much information.

Morning fun is done. Took the plastic tents off the tomato plants. The tomatoes thanked me for keeping the safe from the three inches of rain.

Wölfie, don’t forget to stop in and ask the Pack for help. They can get a lot of water in those jowls.

Had a visiter last night. Not only knocked over the composter, but flipped. The Pack slept through the whole visit. Luckily, it was on the other side of the stockade fence. Sucker is HEAVY.

A lot has changed since then. There are lots more products and they are sold at Sephora. Best of all, Jennifer Anniston is now a co-owner of the company.

Beginning next week she will be getting chemo therapy. That is all she knows right now. If anyone has summer travel plans for such exotic destinations as: Knoxville, TN, Nashville, TN, Chattanooga, TN or Hotlanta, GA (I75, I24, a bit of I40) let us know and the HOH will meet ya’ll and stomp…er stamp a passport.

Macy – just sos you know: we DID get your jest about prickling thumbs. We just didn’t see it until much later. And it made us laugh, but you are giving poor Belle a complex.

YSAS has landed….and been handed off to Melanie. He is such a good boy.

We are probably signing off for the day. Leaving at 5 tomorrow for the big Shew in Boston. The van is gassed up and packed. Now it’s time to get clothes selected (note to self – NOT the line green lame’) and ironed, do dinner and a shower and get to bed.

    Macy,
Dawson and I will be brainstorming on the words of this passport. All of your requests will be considered. Heh. I love the Stovernia idea and I am quite sure it will say Plunderer’s Passport. Or Plunder Passport. We will think on it.

Meanwhile check the Boutique tomorrow for another example, although larger, of the Turtlemans work.

Zzzzzzzzz . . Oh, what? Oh . Cough. .cough . . Hey youse guyes!

Great day. YSAS didn’t tell me THE WHOLE STORY of his time at oral surgery. Turns out they gave him shots of novacane, and then said, “We’ll be back when that takes affect.” As they were walking out the door, YSAS’s heart rate zoomed and he lost his breath, but managed to lean out of the chair and mumble something before he passes out completely. Next thing he remembers was being upside down and getting oxygen.

He says he still doesn’t feel right.

At 11 am tomorrow I meet my niece, some of the bridesmaids,a nd her other Godmother at the salon. We will be getting our hairstyled and make up put on. They best not get near me with any twisers or wax. I just might have to put my foot down on a couple of them.

Weddings at four. I have to figure out how not to get Newfed between 12:30 and 3.

Hope you hear good news on the job, Macy’s Dad.
Herd of Hounds, take good care of your mom. (I knew she had to be a teacher at some point)
    O’Howlers . . My heart hurts.
    Good night all.

    Carpola!
Suddenly a bat was flying from wall to wall in the living room. I ran and opened the front door and then the porch door. A large beetle sized something (the light was off) flew in the front door and landed on my arm. I let out a terrified yell, then ran out the front door and around to the back door and came inside. I could see the bat still going from one side of the room to the other, back and forth and back again.
Dad: (taking headphones off) Did you say something?
Me: (from way across the room, yelling) Bat!
    Dad: What?
    Me: (Yelling louder) Bat! B! A! T!
Dad: Oh, there’s a bat in the house? Well, open the door and let him out!
Me: The door is open! ( I went through Dad’s bedroom from the rear entrance to shut the door to the living room and the bat wasn’t flying anymore. But I could hear a clicking or tsk-ing like noise. I spotted the bat up in the corner of the living room by the ceiling. Looked like he was staying awhile.
Me: He’s not leaving! I’m going to bed! (Upstairs, no bats).
    Dad: What time is it?
    Me: Bedtime!
Dad: (Pushing the button on his talking watch) It’s only 9:51!
Me: I don’t care, I’m not staying down here!
Dad: Okay, well lock the doors.
Me: But how will the bat get out?
Dad: He’ll leave in the morning. What’s he going to do?
Me: He’s going to bite you and give you rabies! (Quickly locking the door) Whatever! (Running upstairs)
    I will have nightmares tonight.

    Dad: What?
    Me: (Yelling louder) Bat! B! A! T!

Good news: I got my book.

Bad news: The bat is not where I left him.

I see Dad decided not to stick around in the living room for all his bravado. He is in the bathroom getting ready for bed.

Melanie: Hope all goes smoothly for you tomorrow. Have fun!

Rio: That is too bad the sunflower got dug out. I don’t understand why she would do that.

    Big day tomorrow.
I’m getting up early and getting out of Bat House. Going for a long bike ride and I better not get a carpola flat tire.

G’night all and good morning to Cricket and Liz.
