One Scary Night

We went to a Halloween party last night. Halloween – what’s that all about? Not my favorite – all those ghosts and vampires and Frankenstein monsters. I did a lot of barking, I can tell you that. Bernie went as Elvis Presley but no one got it and I never want to see that again. Then a big discussion started about whether it’s good or bad that we don’t turn our clocks back here in the Valley. A big discussion between all these masked monsters. What the heck? But it just so happened that Max’s Memphis Ribs sent a delivery, so the night turned out great after all. Right now I’m thinking it should be time for Elvis gospel but the radio’s not on and from the way Bernie’s snoring I don’t see him getting up any time soon. Did I mention the bourbon?

Wonder where the "Valley" is. I thought it was only Arizona that did not go on daylight savings time…a phenomenon I always thought a bit pointless. I'm glad you got ribs Chet.

    B. Stover, My thoughts exactly. I also thought there were other places that didn't change their times. Very weird.

Max's Memphis Ribs….yum, but I would like mine just grilled, with no sauce. Mustard for dipping. Not into sauce. Must be a Yankee thing.

    I digress yet again.
