One of Those Interesting Things …

… that can happen in what my grandmother always called “the writing game.”

    Greetings!

    A great article!

RIO! Youse are not the only ones who have not been following Hollywood films. It is pretty bad when the only films Grizz and I look forward to seeing are the cinema screenings of classic Hollywood films.

Cold and very windy here today!

    Create a good day!

    Kudos to OFA.

I iintervened last night at the start of an incipient fight started by Mr. Big with a long-term foster cat. Four puncture wounds made me decide to drive to ER for proper cleaning and to get antibiotics. I was sent home with surgical soap and a prescription. And I discovered that I am at the age where medical personnel call be sweetie

I really like this long term foster kitty and was hoping Mr. Big would come to tolerate her. If he did, I was going to adopt her. Last summer and fall I requested 2-3 times for the foster to be moved due to Mr Big’s attitude but there were always more priorities with other rescued cats. I now have made another request to have her moved to another home. She has been advertised quite a bit for adoption but now at age seven, she was only had one visit. It was a superb 90-minute visit but the family still didn’t adopt her.

Mom just watched an Alaska vet show that had the Whittier tunnel “adventure “ in it. Any Plunderer who remembers that trip, great and don’t laugh. If anyone else has done a couple mile tunnel that you only have a fifteen minute window to do, you know of which we speak.

That was a wonderful article. Thank you, SQ!

Mom got home from gamboling Saturday and hasn’t done a whole lot since getting here. Woman, get busy….there are still lots of boxes to go!

BTW, Eb forgave her just minutes after she got home and came out for loves! I told him to make her suffer for awhile so she won’t take off again. He’s such a wuss!

Second Chance!…snuffle!….That story made my friend tear up because we both thought of Beau as we read it…sniff!…He was a terror at first when they dropped him off and left him. Mother and I did not like him at all. But my friend persevered and gave him love and attention even after he bit the hell outta her hands…sniff!…Eventually, Beau was reformed and found the grace he needed to become the Pug he was supposed to be…snorkel!…Bless his soul!
