On To New Hampshire! (Virtually)

Tonight at 7 PM ET we’re at one of our favorites, Gibson’s Bookstore in Concord NH. Thanks to everyone who “came” to Wellesley Books last night. Great questions! Here’s an Amazon reader yesterday on Of Mutts And Men, referring to an iconic crime fiction character from the early days:

“Vintage Chet and Bernie! More please! Can’t wait for the next one. Chet is the Archie Goodwin of the nation within. One of the best in the series!”

And here’s where to register for tonight’s event. Will I show the picture of Viktor Shklovsky again? Only one way to find out!

An interesting comparison of Chet with Archie Goodwin.

    Good morning all.

Last night’s Wellesley Books virtual tour was fun!

River! What a great picture of you! You have gotten so big! You still have the same delightful smile as you did when you were the cover boy of the Plunder On! calendar!

    Good day to all!

I just registered & will be there tonight. And my book just arrived this afternoon! 🙂

If the author is reviewing these comments – I’ve attended loads of meetings on CrowdCast for 3+ years, and FYI: for the past 1-2 weeks, hosts and guests have been having trouble in that the app sometimes doesn’t recognize their mouse. That means they can’t scroll the chat or open polls or even close out the meeting. The platform is an excellent one, IMO – hope it works well for your event next Weds!

I messed up the time change and missed the event last night. I hope to get it right tonight this afternoon.

River is a handsome young lad.

Spencer said he was in his “office” where he does his writing (currently working on the next Chet and Bernie book-1000 words a day) so Staff asked if the quilt was in the office. He said yes and moved his computer to where we could see it hanging on the wall. There was a pet show and tell and although the cat star of Chet’s Song, Henri was disdainful, his sister Keiko was willing to go on camera and got introduced.
