   OFA, this bit about the dogs refusing to run is something I have told people for years. Wish it hadn’t happened to Nicolas Petit.
   Over the water the race really gets going.

   Typically!…I’m on Strike everyday of the week…heh!heh!…So I can relate to those guys out there busting their butts on the trail only to be YELLED at…grunt!

   Seedlings!…Are sprouting in 2 of her 2+2+2 little starter pots…snorkel!…This was the high point of the day…sniff!

   Leonard goes into an intensive rehab facility tomorrow. Cards can be sent to their address or to Encompass Home Health & Hospice, 487 Holyoke St #1, Ludlow MA 01056

   It is in the 40s and melting. But us old-timers know we have at least 4-6 more weeks of winter and the ground will be frozen until the 3rd or even 4th week of May.

   I wish Petit would have just hung out for a day or two with his dogs and then finished the race. He has had a good season.
