We are following Dawson’s lead and heading out to the yard. Barb is not happy this morning. Our visiting bunny came back last night and finished off the spinach and then proceeded to eat the tops off about a dozen beans. Barb just got back from the store, spending $35.00 of plastic fencing and stakes. Live and learn.

We enjoyed Golinka and Melanie’s little old lady stories and Staff’s picture of the muddy dog. There is really something good to be said about living in the desert…no mud. Mom would have to catch me to clean the mud off me, and I am faster than she is.

Siber, we get as muddy as we want during the day, and we clean ourselves up real nice before breakfast next day. That is one of the things Mom loves about us Sibes…no need to bathe us. That, and the fact that we are simply amazing. 🙂

I haven’t forgotten that the month changed. I’ve been trying for three days, without success, to get the calendar page up. I don’t know what the problem could be. Each time I send it, I get a message thanking me for my comment, but nothing posts. I’ll keep trying.

As you probably know, I talked to Mollypop’s mom who solved the problem. She said there was something in the jpeg title. What I don’t understand is the fact that
everything happened as you said it should in your comment. I saw the image, and the photo location stuff in the comment, but nothing happened when I hit submit.

Hi All, I just heard that I was taking a trip tomorrow over some bridge. I am going to meet members of my Pack I haven’t seen in AGES, and I get to meet MollyPop, Wookie and Buddy . . a whole mess of mutts! Wow! And I get to meet my best buddy in the world. You guys call him The Raven, and we’re going to run together and have a great time!

Barb and Maggie,
I was telling Mr.Staff about your plans to make your raised beds higher next year. He chuckled. Hmmm. I repeat. Chicken wire and stakes. That is what he does. Our peas are up and they are not planted in the beds but out in the open. He will be putting up the chicken wire soon. Probably not soon enough since it is supposed to rain tomorrow. Snicker.
There were footprints in our tomato/lettuce/carrot raised bed this morning. Nothing was gone but the lettuce is at the two leaf stage and the carrots are not up. The footprints did not look like hands so I ruled out the racoons. They looked fat and so I wonder if it is the skunk? Yikes I hope not. (They were not rabbit either. I haven’t seen a rabbit all year.)

I will be thinking of Rose the Newf and her family & buddies on her special day. She will have a loving sendoff on one side of the bridge and a loving welcome on the other side. She is loved by all of us who never met her.
