Spence will be home tonight in time to watch the baseball game.
Wose, I am sure nothing is wrong with Bog’s eye. They must have goggles on him because he likes to stick his head out the window…smart move on the part of his humans.
Mom’s first Siberian has blue eyes and they were light sensitive so sometimes the dog wore sunglasses. She didn’t mind.
I have blue eyes but they are not light sensitive.
I hope we we hear something about Nana today.

I have my first guests from North Pole. We’ve been eating and shopping our way through Anchorage and have already seen two movies. One was my first IMAX 3-D experience (Gravity) which was a great way to see that movie,
They report that the guest beds are very comfortable. 🙂

Can ya’ll believe that the gift shop at Skagit Valley Hospital is closed on the weekends????? That is as silly as some things here! Sounds like many are having a good day, except, of course, the Royals and their waiting. Our peeps went over the mountains to the west to a town called Dayton where an antique mill has a harvest fair each year. They brought home waterwheel ground corn meal, and talked to lots of members of the nation within…from mini-yorkshire terriers to a greyhound. Brought Darah home her first harness in VOLE orange (since mom says she is a TN long tailed black bear). We think she’ll outgrow it real soon.

Oh sure Rio!
I grabbed the remote and tried to find the game I was missing (again? I got the time wrong?) My heart started doing the thumpedy, thump, thump! thump! and then I saw that the game doesn’t start until 4:30 my time (It’s 2:15 now). Well, I’m awake now!
I also see that the baseball game interferes with a Chicago Blackhawks versus Toronto Maple Leafs hockey game. I better get my seat early or that man will get the remote.

Howdy! We’ve been busy mowing grass for hopefully the last time of the season, picking peppers and putting that bed to sleep, and our usual barn chores. Now we are informed that the ‘rents are going to their friends’ home for dinner. It is ready to rain here, and the air has definitely changed to feel like Fall finally. The farmer cut down all his corn today. Hindreds of acres, gone in just one day. You wouldn’t believe how much that opens us up. In the summer, it makes a huge privacy wall around our entire farm. But now we can see forever.

Rio: Apparently the Comcast tv guide is incorrect. It now shows “Post Game” but the game has not started here yet (by which I mean Eastern time). They are still talking on Fox and interviewing players, etc. I assume the game will start at 7:30. I’ll post when it starts.

FINALLY!…The news guy on Fox just said the game is going to start right after the news…sniff!….I’ve seen every starting time under the sun for this game on the internet today…grumble!….What the hell?? How hard is it to post the starting time of a game. I’ve seen 2:00 ET, 4:00, 6:07 and now apparently it will start at 5:30ish MT….grump!

T& G. Re New South Wales. I can’t remember if Liz is from Sydney or Melbourne. If Sydney (which is where I think she is) then she could be close to the fires, because Sydney is the capital of NSW. If she is from Melbourne, then she should be fairly well removed from the fires. BTW, Sydney is one of our favoritemost cities in the world. We have a very close friend (Wookie’s and Teddy’s Uncle Alan) who lives there and who we do not see nearly often enough. Wookie had met Uncle Alan on several occasions but Teddy so far only knows him via email.

At long last my Two-legged and the Giant are home at the same time. The Giant brought the team home this afternoon from an overnight training run. Last night I was a bit upset. My Two-legged called my name. I ran over for a tummy only to find Tenzing came when my name was called. His name is not the same as my name, but we both got tummies. Grump!

Bogs lost an eye due to complications from glaucoma. His ophthalmologist said he never recommends allowing dogs to put their heads out car windows because he’s seen too much eye trauma (and worse) as a result. But he admits that most owners just won’t take this away from their dogs because they love it so much, so he recommends googles. Doesn’t Bogs look great in his “camo” Doggles?
Just like Chet, Bogs is a “hundred-pounder” (130, actually). I cracked up when I read that when Bernie and Charlie go camping, it’s Chet’s job to carry the mallet because once we caught Bogs trotting out of the garage, tail held high, with a very large hammer dangling from his teeth. As soon as he saw us, he dropped it (missing his front paws, thank heavens) and kept on trotting, as if to say, “nothing to see here, folks.” I still wonder what he was planning to do with it.
