Good day to everyone! Just had our breakfast in the Las Cruces New Mexico.
So far it looks like good weather across Texas. We are looking forward to being home with our herd.
I’ve had a lot of chances to practice my Spanish with people all across this country. More people except my grammar errors in my funny accent than used to. Is it me or is it them?

HOH: Grizz has been studying Spanish for the past couple of years. He is so concerned with proper tenses. I told him it doesn’t really matter, as long as you can get your point across. I think in NY it especially doesn’t matter because the Spanish language has become so intermingled with English/ New Yorkeeese. Safe travels to youse.

Herd of Hounds: Taking the southern route? What is the final destination? California? Anywhere near me?
Happy Strawberries and Cream day. And I happen to have some in the refrigerator. A pound of strawberries, some heavy cream and a half a loaf of Angel Food Cake in the freezer. I think I’ll be having some today.
It’s also World Baking Day and Fruits and Vegetables Day.
Wishing OFA a lovely ride. Assuming on that same bright yellow bike. Mine is also yellow but only a three speed and it has tulips painted on it. It’s a vintage Amsterdam street bike from the Electra bike company. Perhaps when there is a National Bike Day I’ll pump up the tires and take it out for a spin. Haven’t ridden it in ages. Not really safe in my neighborhood.
I think I have a loaf of Take and Bake baguettes I can have with some cheese and there is still one salad left in the refrigerator.
Hope the Hobbit has stayed on her feet today.

Yeeep!…My friend is now the nervous owner of a beautiful Orchid…snort!…It is a late birthday gift. She is afraid she will kill it as she’s only had one before in her life. She ultimately killed the first one…yeeeep!
