Morning all. Hope they don’t let the students have tomatoes.
Terrific Tuesday to all and especially BooBear.

I wonder what school Spence is visiting.

    Good morning all.

How cool to have the author of fun and well written books visit your school. An excellent way to encourage reading and the possibility of becoming an author. Way to go, Spence!

Good morning, all! Another busy day for Mom. Lots of phone calls to make. I have a problem keeping her focused on the current tasks. She sees something else that needs to be done and off she goes on that tangent.

    Focus, Mom!!

A word to the Thieves — you should never worry about not being challenging enough, but I would not want it any other way. And for Sammy’s girl — I would welcome any assistance she would like to offer; the Thieves ability to generate the need for creative legal work is truly remarkable.

W & T’s Paw, Sammy’s girl goes around yelling ‘Tort!’ A lot and also she doesn’t recall much. She sat in the courtroom for a medical malpractice case and fainted during the opening statement.

LouLou — She still sounds like a great legal prospect to me. This does, however, bring to mind a story about a senior lawyer giving advice to a new practitioner, telling the new practitioner about the three most important rules in representing clients:

Rule 1: Get the money up front.
Rule 2: Remember, if you lose the case, it’s your client who goes to jail, not you.
Rule 3: So get the money up front.

We have a pallet of Slim Jims delivered to Teddy’s Paw once a month to keep him on retainer. He must be very confident in his legal skills—-for good reason—-because he insist it isn’t necessary. A good attoney is worth keeping happy.

We like the idea of training a new legal mind to be on par with Maury, the attorney not the dog. Just look at the great job we are doing with these two wee kitties.

Thieves: I need to talk to Luna.

In my experience, being summoned by a Hobbit is rarely a good sign.

Hobbit: What did the Thieves do, now?

Luna: kittens are known for getting into more than enough mis-adventures all on their own. I know that the Thieves mean well (maybe) but Butch & Sundance do not need additional help. You need to nip this in the bud before you have four rascally miscreants on Beau’s paws. Once kittens become cats, they do not listen to anybody. The Thieves may be creating something even they do not understand. Do not let their cuteness blind you to teaching them manners and what not…
