Good morning everyone. Glad OFA has a new knee so he can play tennis on occasion. Hope he has had a great week.
Everyone, please read the post from Luna last night about Snowhook losses.
Snowhook is in our thoughts and prayers now.
    Have a heartwarming Hump Day.

I guess now that OFA’s lawn is mowed, it is time for fun!

Orion and Iggy will be missed. They will be in good paws with Beau and Luna to guide them.

    Good day to all!

    Morning, all.

How sad about the Snowhook guys. Mom thinks they were both there when she and her sister visited for the Great Race in 2015.
And there may be a picture of Orion in the book Mom made for AJ and Rebecca (not sure). She knows that Iggy was there because she remembers Chet and Bernie and Iggy was part of the same litter.

BooBear: They were both there when you visited. Iggy was born in our kennel and we rescued Orion in 2008.

B: Charlie won’t boast about his involvement on Friday, but that fellow who loves to share your easy chair led us to Orion. It was like Lassie with Timmy in the well. He was torn between staying with Orion and fetching us for help. He did both. I am proud of him and love him for his loyalty. In time, I know the horrible scene that plays on a loop in my mind will be replaced with my good memories of Orion, but Charlie and his ears are a bright spot in that painful loop. Maybe next time he visits, give him a Slim Jim if you can spare one.

Snowbella: so sorry to hear the sad news. Your doggies were loved by many as are you.

Sadie’s stitches got out although he scratched open a couple of wounds. She is healing and we went on our first walk this morning. We were both happy about that.

    Take care everyone

I’m sharing Snowhook Kennel’s sadness in saying See You Over the Bridge to Orion and Iggy. I remember being tasked with leading Orion from his doghouse to the sled. That’s when I learned about the power and strength of Orion and sled dogs. He pulled me over to the sled before I could say, “Hey, wait”! Iggy, being of the Chet the Dog litter, is a natural and automatic favorite.
