Christmas shopping here has been done! None of that last minute stuff for Grizz and me. We here do not like crowds, especially at the mall.

CHobbitz: Yikes! Mr. Big is over the weight limit to be put in a carry on suitcase on the airplane.
I’ve been kept busy playing cribbage, darts, and Texas hold ‘em at the senior’s centre and walking the seaside trail looking for eagles, great blue herons and interesting plant life.
I leave Vancouver Island for Montana tomorrow.

Checking in after everyone is in bed. After another busy day I am at the airport and won’t return to Alaska for 12 days. I worked on last minute animal food shopping, house cleaning, packing and orienting new house sitter until 10:03 PM. The taxi picked me up at 10:15. Whew. For the umpteenth time I have left my travel pillow at home but I refuse to buy another one. Grump.
Will check in tomorrow when I am at 5he Hobbit Hotel-West Coast.

I wasn’t thinking when I packed 3 apples, a banana, and some blueberries for my snacks today. I’ll have to eat all that fruit before going through customs.
