    Good morning, HOH!

An overcast day here in this neck of the woods…Perfect day for a movie!

THIEVES! How exciting about the Giant and the Kellie Pickler show. We do get that channel, but our cable system does not allow us to go back to October 5th, when it was broadcast. The episode is locked on-line, which means we have to enter our password to view it. I am confident Grizz will find a way to view it; he’s good at those things. :^)

Still had to enter all my info… :^(

    Good day to all!

“Loving Vincent”…We here saw it this afternoon and LOVED it! The film is absolutely beautiful! It definitely should be seen on the big screen.

The film is a sort of mystery, and deals with the conflicting accounts of Van Gogh’s death by gunshot. As the story unfolds, flashback sequences which are in black and white, and most likely rotoscoped, are used. Grizz and I both agree that these black and white segments are even more visually stunning than the color sequences, although the color ones are nothing to shake a stick at.

Several of Van Gogh’s paintings and their subjects come to life right before your eyes. One of the facts touched upon in the film was that Van Gogh started painting at the age of 28, and by the time of his death at 37, had painted 800 pieces, only 1 of which sold during his lifetime. The film is as impressive as Van Gogh’s life.

    Two thumbs up!

Ahem…I was featured on TV last night. I’m sure my big screen debut can’t be far behind. I am living the dream.

Speaking of dreams, all youse have been so good to Snowhook in helping us follow our dreams and we would like to pay if forward. That Damn Pixie has a dear friend at her busy place that is a very talented opera singer. Later this month Maura will be competing in a competition in Portland. That Damn Pixie is helping Maira fund raise. If youse have a few extra dollars in your treatie budgets, you can help support this songbird at the link below.

I am a fan or Majra. She is a fan of me. How can I not like her? Heh.
