Good morning all. Back to the salt mines, Spence? Or just behind?

Got up at 5:00, already grocery shopped, went a run to the big box store, cleaned up the back yard poop and did a little chore in the garden. I had more stuff eaten last night, so have put a garden mesh over top of everything. Now my concern is that a bird is going to get caught it there.

    Morning everyone.
We had a personal bet with ourselves that OFA would mention that today is the anniversary of the Very First Ever Professional Baseball Game Played At Night (1935, in Cincinnati where the Reds beat the Phillies, 2-1)
    We lost the bet

    No frosting for us.

Mr.Staff is out on the porch growling at the squirrels. Heh heh heh.

Bison. Many many bison. Although not as many as before…

  16. Tupper and Gilly
    12:36 pm on May 24th, 2016

Staff – we would pay real money for film footage of the “growling at squirrels”. Our squirrels would laff themselves silly. They are exceptionally bold little creatures this year.

  17. Barb, Maggie & Lucy
    1:18 pm on May 24th, 2016

I love bison. Think I will walk right up to one and pet it like some of those dum-dums at Yellowstone. And what about the dopes that put the bison calf in the back of their car?

  18. BooBear
    1:25 pm on May 24th, 2016

Guys, that dog is having surgery as I type. He had another growth that has to be removed. It is between toes on his right rear leg. Mom was afraid it would begin to hinder his walking (and it looks UGLY!) And Mom says that it was growing rapidly. So cross paws that everything will be ok. I, myself, am not too worked up about it but Mom would be upset if anything goes wrong.

BSD, those squirrels taunted poor Molly. When she was in the house and the door to the sun room where the doggie door was was closed, the fuzzbutts came right up to the sun room window. When Molly was outside, the fuzzbutts would hang on the tree trunk just above her head and facing upside down.

Plunderers – help and advise needed please.

Mama roasted a chicken for dinner tonight. Just the regular seasoning of salt, pepper, lemon juice and herb du provence.
However, when the chicken was done, and she started to carve it, the meat next to the bone was green.
    Not tinged, but actually green.
Obviously, dinner plans changed very quickly. But have any of you ever heard of something like this?

Bag it and take it back to the store. It does not sound healthy for man nor beast. This could be as bad as when pigs had trichomonas or whatever it was. Ask the butcher’s at your market do not let this go! If

I got distracted by the squirrel rotating squirrel video’s and just spent 20 minutes watching them.

BooBear we here are pawraying for That Dog. I used to have a cat who had cancer between her toes. I found it early and she had her leg cut off at the hip and then ran around on 3 legs for many many more years. Her name was Sparkles. What a good kitty she was. When she ran you could not tell she only had 3 feet. But when she strolled it was limpy. I never let people feel sorry for her. I told them she had more legs than they did. LOL.
