Mom couldn’t figure why she missed it…DUH..Tuesday at Club Med. And she said when she could read the blog there, most of the attachments wouldn’t open 🙁 Mom has promised us a special Egg Day tomorrow, wonder what she means?

Good morning. Happy Day before Easter to Everyone.
As soon as it gets a little warmer outside we are going to work on hanging 3 new planters from the wood fence. They are the black wrought iron variety with coco netting.
Hope ML’s family gathering goes well today.
When is Zeus coming to live with you Howlers? I thought Staff had a good idea at the possibly name change, but we do like Zeus.

Leaving soon. Shopping for Easter cads for the Grands, and looking for some bushes for the back yard. Serviceberry is on our wish list, as well as some Variegated Red Twig Dogwood for the bottom of the yard.

I wish I could keep Masquers, and Belle Starr here forever! I am starting to feel a bit better. I know that it is the wonderful pawflexogy that Masquers gives! and the belly rubs I give to Belle Starr. It is so lovely to have sweet, kool jazz to lull me to sleep. ahhhhhh
O’Howlers, Congratulations on your new family member! Zeus is very handsome and fits in well with the two lovely redheads.
LouLou, Oh, no! There is no slip on my door. Grizz and I went out yesterday evening, so I guess the post man came right after we had left. GAH! I don’t want Mr. Carrot to get lost!

Hi everyone. Mama is getting ready to take Callie to ClubMed to see her fan club….oh, and Gramp too.
We are so happy for Zeus, coming to such a grand home. We thought that maybe, just maybe, if he wants to fit in with Meashka and Katarina, maybe he could change his name to Zeusikov. Just a thought.

The man who lives in this house is missing his family dinner which is today but I will be there to represent him. I am off to the store for pecans to make tarts. It is nice enough to ride the bike.

Howdy! The ‘rents just got home and have a million and one things to do. They still must do their usual Saturday morning(???) farm chores. And then they must put out invisible fence flags all around our 16 acres, and make more eggs for Easter, and bring down the big crate, and the outside kennel that is really a chicken tractor, and Dima’s eating table, and and and. The list goes on and on. We are tired already.
Zeusikov? Is that really a name? We kinda like it. That way, he could still be called the familiar Zeus, and Mom could tell people that he really does have a Russian name, not a Greek name. Of course, there is also the always popular Bellestarriswonderfulikov. We are drawn to that one…pondering…

Hi all!!! First I want to apologize for not being around much lately. A month ago my sister Taffy had some type of stroke like episode so Mom had to spend a few weeks tending to her, trying to figure out what happened, but then she had additional episodes so we had to let my sister go to the Rainbow Bridge two weeks ago. Nobody expected me to still be here and expected me to be first but I knew I had to stay strong for Mom so I have been fighting with all my Sibe mite and am still hanging on!! We celebrated my life yesterday at the Husky rescue and pushed the O’Howlers over the edge to Zeus when Mom starting sending her pics of the stunning, stoic, and regal boy! We are so excited that Zeus will be joining our extended pack and that I was able to meet him!! But as you can tell from this photo, he knows who the man is, and is following behind me (far back) like all of the other young pups!! Welcome Zeusikov, aka Zeus Moose!

we just got to talk to YSAS – he and OTAS are spending Easter with their Zoe, and Martha’s family. What good boys they are.
Callie likes going to Club Med – Mama brings a pocket full of cookies, and whenever someone wants to pet Callie, Mama slips them a cookie to give her. Hey, Callie is no dumb bunny – Club Med means cookies – heck yes, she wants to go.
Meanwhile we have still been unsuccessful in our hunt for white chocolate M & M’s. What is the world coming to?

Whew! We are beat. We had to watch the ‘rents walk all over this here farm, including the fields and the woods and the wetlands, putting up little white flags. This means only one thing. Zeusikov is coming soon.

Barb is back from her outing. She went over and played with Jessica in her garden for a bit too. Planted some cilantro here in our herb planter.
Ended up buying a Kitty Willow instead of the Dogwoods. Needed something fast growing that likes moisture, so that is what she bought.
Now Barb is sitting on the patio and grilling a steak and foil wrapped onions. Also having a relaxing glass of wine. Great way to end the day.

Hello from midtown Manhattan! My sister and I took an hour nap upon arriving and then set out to explore. In 1.5 hours we walked 31 city blocks–more than we intended due to my poor map reading skills and sense of direction. I now wish I had a pan of ice water to soak my poor feet. The tall buildings are interesting and so far so good.
Happy news on the blog with Wose, Gramps and a new Sibe. Oodles of noodles. Two more days in NYC then off to Turkey on Tuesday. The Hobbit gets around!

Here is what we know about Zeus: he is 4, going to be 5 in August. He supposedly had a nice family, including a 7-year old boy who he loved. Then there was a new baby with allergies, so poor Zeus got the boot. We don’t understand why they didn’t go by seniority. The baby should have gotten the boot. So we know that he loves kids, like Meashka does. And he loves other dogs. He will need to learn that chickies are off-limits, and T.C. Is in charge. Everything else is a cakewalk.

I will not even claim to be Macy’s mom tonight. I am so p!$$ed off at those dam dogs I can’t even see straight. I brought home a delish bowl of brisket and Filipino rice. I set it on the counter, and when I came back for it there was no sign of it. Finally I found some shredded foil and a cracked plastic bowl. I am so frustrated that I just want to sit and cry, but I have to go tend to the freakin sewer backup in the shower. If anyone needs me, I will be living in a yurt.

Good Easter morning to all. I am working on getting in a church frame of mind this a.m. but I am still….hm…agitated? I brought home a new blanket for Annie’s kennel (from the resale shop, because it wasn’t good enough to sell). It fell apart in the washer and pieces of it have now backed up in the shower as well. I am sure that blanket pieces in the sewer line are not going to help the situation one bit. And the kitchen still smells like my brisket that I didn’t even get to taste…Belle and Macy didn’t get their bedtime cookie last night. I hope they thought about what they did! Heh, as if.
