No More Himmler!
“And a good thing,” says Spence. “Outside of the evil they did, none of those top Nazis seem at all interesting, in contrast to some of those who opposed them – Churchill and FDR, to name two.”
“But I am looking forward to reading Ian Kershaw’s The End: The Defiance and Destruction of Hitler’s Germany, 1944-1945,” Admin says.
“Maybe you’ll get it for Christmas.”
“I’m giving you a bottle of Appleton Rum from Jamaica – the one with the black cap,” says Admin.
“Any reason you’re telling me now?” Spence says.
“Oops.”
Today’s post is dedicated to the Macy family.
Welcome two dudes on the job, Slick and Jenny, Cricket.
“I saw it on sale,” Admin says, sort of to himself.

Enjoy the book and the bottle Admin and Spence.
Good morning all.
8:15 am on November 16th, 2011
Sounds like a good book. The bottle…not so much.
Glad thats the end of Himmler, but the book does sound interesting.
We just read the posts from last night after we shut off the ‘puter. Macy, we are so so so very sorry to hear of your news. Mom says she lives in fear of either her or Pop losing their job in these awful times, and in their case, they could lose the farm and where would we all go? So, she says its is marvelous that your mom and dad paid off the house. You will have a roof over your head, and we are hoping for some good news on the jobs front. We don’t even know what Ol’ Roy kibbles are, but we hope you don’t have to eat them anyway. We send good husky thoughts, kisses, hugs your way.
Good Morning B, and all.

Macy, the Pack and I are behind you and your family. Franklin and Mac say if you need anyone to be sat on you just tell them. Also Grace can be very scary when she’s running right at you with her teeth showing as her jowls go up and down. So she’s in on it too.
The rest want to blur over some of Mattie’s food to you. It’s a Naturally Wild Salmon. Mattie is putting up a fight (Dog, is it noisy here this morning), but most of The Pack are saying since they don’t get to eat it, they should send it to you.
Paws, claws and tails crossed here and prayers and good thoughts to you and your Pack.

Macy, the Prof and I send you good thoughts and prayers. It really stinks that employers excpect loyalty from the their workers, when the only thing employees can expect from employers is a pink slip. Throughtout our years together, the Prof and I have both been out of jobs several times between us. We made due, with love and support, and we were very lucky enough to be at the right place,at the right time. Prof was lucky enough to have his Master’s Degree, which is how came upon teaching. Fortunately, your home is paid off.
Just remember, us Plunderers are a loyal group!
XOXOXO,
Rose

Macy: It is difficult to hear of anyone going through such challenging times, but when it is one of our very own the situation suddenly becomes close and personal. You can lean on us, your friends and fellow Plunderers for comfort and support. More hugs, prayers and good thoughts coming your way.

Oh Macy, that sucks big time.
I am so sorry.
37 years? That is horrible.

We read that the Sac State professor who walked out on his class because a student forgot to bring snacks has been awarded a Fulbright scholarship and is going to Poland to teach. Maybe because he likes Polish food.
Sometimes I think the world is crazy.
9:36 am on November 16th, 2011
Here’s what I think we should do.
I think we should set a date and a time and upon the agreed upon time, we should all stop what we are doing and send a collective Plunderers prayer to our Creator on behalf of Macy’s family to help her mom and dad find new jobs.
We’ll have to take in the time changes. This has to happen all at once.
What do youse guys think?
9:41 am on November 16th, 2011
We like that idea Wolfie. We are big believers in collective prayer or good thoughts or whatever fits with one’s beliefs.
Give us plenty of notice, because Mom is working at home and may get distracted with work. We hate when her work gets in our way of our time. 🙂
9:43 am on November 16th, 2011
Macy, Hope things are looking better in the light of a new day. Do your folks have any sort of a financial advisor that they can talk to about their different options? Meantime, we all offer our support.
Barb started glancing thru the new Rin Tin Tin book last night. It looks like it will be interesting. RTT was such a popular figure in the 20s and 30s that he was actually the top box-office draw for Warner Brothers, starring in 23 films and saving them from bankruptcy.
One thing that caught Barb’s attention (she is obsessive about details being correct). It said that Lee Duncan, a soldier in WWI, found RTT in a burned out kennel in Germany. It said he was blind, bald, probably still nursing and just a few days old. As Melanie can tell you, puppies are not born bald, like little baby mice. They are born with short hair. Their eyes do not open till around 10-14 days, and they are going to nurse exclusively till they start getting teeth, and probably not totally weaned till 6-8 weeks. Haven’t read all the details yet, but if RTT was just a fe days old, what did he feed him, in the middle of a burned out battlefield? Supposedly he was orphaned, along with a female sibling. They show a picture of a group of soldiers holding the two pups, who look to be about 3 months old in the picture. So, something doesn’t seem right about those details. It is dramatic, but not very realistic that the pups were just a few days old, and both survived. Opinions?
9:45 am on November 16th, 2011
The only thing we know about Rin Tin Tin is that whenever we go up on top of the bank and look down over the wall, Mom or Pop yell “Rinny” to us! We don’t get it.
9:46 am on November 16th, 2011
We vote yes on the collective prayer.
10:04 am on November 16th, 2011
Wolfie, what a wonderful idea.

We read a little more on the discovery of Rin Tin Tin. Evidently he was not orphaned. The kennel was in France, near the German border, and had been bombed. Duncan found many dead dogs, and then he found a female with 5 pups. He took all of them with him, and eventually kept RTT and Natalie, his sister. Someone else took the mother and the other 3 pups. He then traveled back and forth to let them nurse. Mystery solved, and Barb is happier. Still doesn’t like them being called bald.

Today’s post is dedicated to Macy’s family!! We are behind you 100 percent on that Chet.
Wolfie, We are with you on the prayer and good thoughts campaign. Anytime is fine with us. I can always wake mom up.

Awww!….Admin and Spencer. Just when you think all those guys care about is what they are getting for Christmas they turn around and surprise us by thinking of the welfare of one of the Plunderers….snort!
Reading!….That Rin Tin Tin book sounds interesting…snort!…Even though we have never seen one episode of the show. Too damn bad all reading time together has now been forsaken for her to use on making thousands and thousands of little gift cards….grunt!sneeze!

Siber: Thank you for pointing out that Chet has dedicated today’s post to Macy and Family.
Wolfie: We are behind you 100% also. That is a wonderful idea.

That was very caring of Admin and Spence to dedicate today’s posts to Macy and Family. Macy, keep us posted on what your dad learns about his options.
Barb’s friend Kim is coming over today and bringing her a young hen to add to our flock. Kim does not want her because she lays white eggs. She says it is easier to give her to Barb then to try to explain to her egg customers that the shell doesn’t make any difference in the taste. All her customers want brown eggs. Then Kim is going to help hold our little banty rooster so Barb can trim his spur. It is curled and starting to grow into his leg. Yikes!
After all that excitement, they are going out to lunch.

Hi Everyone –
We are an absolute yes on the coordinated prayer moment. We would suggest a very early-ish evening hour in the west coast, which would make it an acceptable evening hour on the east coast. Say the word, and we will also send a prayer request to all our email list so we can get a gigantic prayer circle going around the country.
Take THAT evil downsizer of Macy’s Dad!
We told Gilly all about Rin Tin Tin (she is too young to remember him) But now she has a crush on him, and she keeps going to the edge of our hill and posing, ears up, alert and looking far off into the distance. And she wants to be called
Rinty. Silly little Corgi
12:38 pm on November 16th, 2011
“RINTY????”.
You mean “runty” maybe, with them short little, sawed off Corgi legs.

Siber, we Oley Sibes are one step ahead (make that 12 steps…4 each of us). We did post that S&S link on Spencer’s FB wall. Hoping he will turn around and post it on Chet the Dog page.
Barb, please ‘splain that spur thing. What is it? Or should we blush for asking?
And we agree with evryone that we are happy that this blog is dedicated to Macy’s family today.

Kat is still trying to figure out where all those happy, excited, huskies are. She was doing the head-tilting-back-and-forth thing while we were watching the video. Silly Pipsqueak.

Speaking of which – a bit of the white stuff may, or may not, be in the forecast for Friday – in any event there is a definite chill in the air of late. Also, a wind warning for today and tomorrow.

Fellow Sibers, You can’t be expected to know about chickens since I’m sure you are not allowed around them. I’m not.

Barb&Magpie: Is the rooster’s spur like our dew claw?

hmm…the moderator wasn’t quite sure whether or not to allow that last post.
1:09 pm on November 16th, 2011
Siber, speaking of our kind and chickens…here is a good(?) story. A friend of our mom’s, who has 4 dogs including a Sibe who is also our friend, are at Barkwells now. That is that great dog-friendly resort near Ashville, N.C. She said its awesome, and sent the most beautiful pictures of the resort as well as the surrounding hiking trails.
But, this friend just sent Mom a message that her Sibe broke into the chicken pen!!!!! Two men ran after him, but not before one chicken was ready for dinner. 🙁
1:17 pm on November 16th, 2011
Was the chicken dressed up for a FANCY dinner?
tee hee
1:19 pm on November 16th, 2011
Rio: Did you notice the tips of some boots at the bottom of some of the shots in that video? If your friend takes video or pictures in March, it will be her boots in the shot. That is, of course, until she rides the runners.
It is a 20 below day with high winds that cut through the clothes. Shiver me timbers…
1:20 pm on November 16th, 2011
Fellow Sibers: Score another for our tribe. I’m trying not to laugh here.
1:24 pm on November 16th, 2011
Roosters!…Barb can’t answer our questions because she is too busy trying to saw the thing off of some poor Banty Rooster…snort!…Or is it Banty Rangers? They must have some little Miniature Ponies they ride around what with those spurs an all….Hi Ho! Banty Rangers to the Rescue! ….Woooo!
1:28 pm on November 16th, 2011
Show! … I bet there was a TV show in the 50’s that had Banty Rangers riding around recuing hens all over the county…sniff!….The 50’s seemed to have all kinds of weird and wacky shows …heh! …Sky King! Snort!
1:36 pm on November 16th, 2011
OK, youse guys, we have a minute while we wait for Kim. All roosters grow spurs. They are a long, sharp thing that grows out of the back of their legs. One on each. Might be sort of like a dew claw. Hate to even mention this, but that is what those evil fighter guys attach razor blades to, or file to a sharp point if they are doing c***fighting. This little guy has one long one and one that has curled around and is growing back into his leg. Would do serious damage to his leg if we let it go. Can’t cut too much or they will bleed. A lot!
Hate to even mention this too, but Barb read in a poultry mag. that if you hold a hot baked potato on the spur for ten minutes, if will pop right off. Barb is a little nutty, so she tried it, but Mr Banty wouldn’t hold still for 10 minutes, so she had to give up. Rio, take that and run with it!
2:09 pm on November 16th, 2011
Thanks for ‘splaining, Barb and Maggie. We hate hearing about that bad use too.
2:14 pm on November 16th, 2011
We have a question for you cook types. We are going to make an Eye Round roast today. We found this recipe which we will be using:
http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/high-temperature-eye-of-round-roast/detail.aspx
It says 7 mins per lb, but we have only a ~1 lb roast. Would you only do that part for 7 minutes?
2:55 pm on November 16th, 2011
I will catch up in a while . . . But was working as YSAS’s manager so I was watching “Unforgettable” After watching a few of them, I found one of the episodes he was in. If you watch “Lost Things” at 33:20 you will see a close up of YSAS!
Here’s a screen grab . .

3:01 pm on November 16th, 2011
Clarkson!…Close-ups!…snort!…That’s what he was born for – Close-ups!…heh!…What a good looking chap he is….chuffle!
3:16 pm on November 16th, 2011
Thank you Riö! He almost believes that!
I’m on the prayer thingy. Let me know the time and I’ll stay up. Hopefully!
3:58 pm on November 16th, 2011
Fellow Sibers: We are not cook types, but that is a very interesting recipe. On the page your link goes to, click on the customer reviews until you get to the ninth one. She tells how she did it with a 1.5 lb. roast.
4:33 pm on November 16th, 2011
Siber! Thanks for seeing that. Mom already did the first part and thankfully, she did 10 mins. Will let you know how this turns out.
5:02 pm on November 16th, 2011
Yes, do let us know how it turns out. Mom would like to try it, but she is afraid adjustments would have to be made for high altitude. She doesn’t know how to do it with that recipe.
6:47 pm on November 16th, 2011
Has anyone ever made a recipe following the directions (even though they didn’t seem quite right) then realized later you should have gone with your instincts?
Melanie: We are so excited! The Unforgetable episode YSAS was in is still available on online!
6:54 pm on November 16th, 2011
Oh, sweet Macy. I’m so sorry. I’m in on the prayer circle.
Melanie – did YSAS have a speaking part on BE episode #20 last Sunday? The actor was wearing a Smokey Bear hat in beige.
If anyone has extra prayers on Friday morning – Dad has an unpleasant biopsy to undergo and results won’t be back till well after T’giving.
xoxoxo
7:19 pm on November 16th, 2011
Bluecat, we will pray for your Dad on Friday morning.
Our Cat Christmas pillowcases have arrived! On time for our Thanksgiving weekend guests! They are great, Staff!
Now the bad news. We have a lousy cheap oven that Mom & Pop bought as a “temporary” range when they moved to the farm. They couldn’t afford the range they wanted because of the moving expenses. Well, we’re thinking that cheap a** oven is not at all insulated, because after having that roast in there 2 1/2 hours, it was still rare and the oven was cold. Carpola. Btw, that so-called temporary oven is now 14 1/2 years old.
7:35 pm on November 16th, 2011
We thought you would roast about 15-20 minutes per lb. for beef. Is that right?
We will say a prayer for Bluecat’s Dad on Friday.
Oley, You need a new oven! Do you hav LP gas? We have a Thermador oven that Barb bought used for $500. She then had to buy a conversion kit to convert the gas burners to LP. The oven is electric with convection option. Best stove she has ever owned!
7:39 pm on November 16th, 2011
BlueKat, YSAS has not had a speaking role on TV as of this point. 🙁
Still working on that one.
Sorry about your oven OleyHowlers. Right now we’re using the oven in the main part of the house and the range in the West Wing. Hope everyone comes that is supposed to and work on the ovens and the dishwasher . . .
Got plans for Friday morning for Bluecat’s dad. What’s going on with the time line for Macy’s Pack’s prayers?
7:40 pm on November 16th, 2011
BlueCat: Adding our prayers that all goes well for your dad.
O.Howlers: Bad news about the oven – sounds like it is a goner. This is no time for it to bite the dust with a roast in the works. What will your mom do?
7:42 pm on November 16th, 2011
Bluecat, Your dad will be in our prayers and thoughts.
Fellow Sibers: Before you get to that #9 customer review, there is a review that talks about the same problem you had and how the cook made adjustments. It is too late now, I know.
Our oven might not stay warm either.
We only got to review #9…there may be a wealth of info there, but who has time.
7:56 pm on November 16th, 2011
Recipes!…My friend will follow recipe for one or two times if it works out and then improvise after that to meet whatever she is looking for in the deal…grunt!… Oley’s stove sounds as bad has some ones mothers stove…sniff!…It is always a challenge baking in it if all the cussing I hear from my friend is any indication…heh!
BluKat!…Good to hear from you but sorry to hear your news…sniff!… We really do need to gather round and say some prayers for our fellow friends in these uncertain times…wuffle!… I still think this year (so far) has been better than last year for unfortunate illness, accidents and death…snorkel! ….I will have to re-read Wolfies post and see if I can gleam any clues from it as to when he wanted to do this group-prayer…grunt!
8:06 pm on November 16th, 2011
We are overwhelmed by all the wonderful thoughts from our dear blog friends. We can’t believe seeing my name in pink at the top of the page. Dad hasn’t been so chipper today, I think that reality is beginning to sink in. Plus, he had to go it and explain the stuff he did to those who will now be doing it. blech
He went to get all his e-mail contacts and he was already blocked from the computer.
No Social Security for dad. The city has their own retirement plan, which is stock driven, of which the value has steadily dropped, dropped, dropped. (mom said to add that it will be YEARS before she can apply. YEARS heh-heh
On a brighter note, the parents are going to New Orleans in a couple of weeks. The hotel will be paid for by credit card points and the flight was paid for weeks ago. Dad found one of those quicky sales, $35 each way, so even with all the fees and such it is still under $100. Mom is glad they have that to look forward to.
Dad actually got out and helped mom with the leaves-that-were-on-the-trees-and-then-they-weren’t. The whole time, they were being pelted with acorns, and not a fuzzbutt in sight.
8:24 pm on November 16th, 2011
Glad your mom and dad will be able to get away for a while, Macy. And sorry to hear about the retirement plan. Jeez Louise.
So he had to EXPLAIN what he did to the new people? I hope his explanation was long and hard to follow. Heh, heh, heh
8:26 pm on November 16th, 2011
I’m chiming in late tonight, but I want to tell Macy that we’re sending positive thoughts and lots of prayers their way. That news stinks.
Love the Carnation ad, Thanks.
I read the Rin Tin Tin book and to say that I was disappointed is an understatement.
I passed it on to a couple of friends and it came back quickly. One of them didn’t
even finish the book.
I posted this an hour ago, but I added it to the end of yesterday’s posts.
8:32 pm on November 16th, 2011
Macy: Glad to hear your mom and dad can look forward to a special trip. It will be good for them to get away, if only briefly. Our Gramps had a saying that we hope will give you comfort as well. It is a quote from Napoleon Hill: Every adversity contains within it the seed of an equal or greater benefit. Over the years we have found that to be true. We continue to send good thoughts and prayer your way.
(whispering) about those acorns…remember TMGs? Didn’t you post a picture once of them hiding in trees in your area?)
8:38 pm on November 16th, 2011
HOLY!….Crap!…Apollo OhNo! Is on the Biggest Loser (or was – we are just now watching it)…Woooo!….He brings back fond memories of the Olympics last year…heh!…My friend thinks he is Looking Good!…snort! …SiberH, remember Apollo OhNo!?…heh!
8:41 pm on November 16th, 2011
If its ok with folks, we would like to jump in an get the prayer circle organized.
We aren’t trying to take over from Wolfie, but Mama has a show this weekend, and she is really serious about stopping everything and saying a prayer for MAcy’s Dad, and now for BlueCat’s Dad too.
What do you all say to stopping on Friday evening at 6 pm. Pacific which is 7 pm Mountain, 8 pm Central, and 9 pm Eastern. Most everyone should be out of work, and hopefully no one will need to stay up past their bedtime. Would that work for all of you? (apologes to Rebecca, CHarris and Liz – not sure what time that would make it for all of you)
8:45 pm on November 16th, 2011
Macy, Your mom and dad will have a good time in New Orleans. We are glad they are able to go.
Your dad has valuable skills and experience to bring to another job. So does your mom. We are wishing the best for all of you.
8:45 pm on November 16th, 2011
Macy, I hope your dad’s ‘splanation was very confusing.
Mom cooked the roast another hour at 350 and it turned out delicious. Barb, Mom had a buit-in thermidor wall oven at her old old house and she agrees that they are excellent ovens. Now she wants a Blue Star range. All the big chefs use those, even those that are paid to use other brands on their shows actually use Blue Stars in their homes. You can see them on their ” at-home shows”. They used to make just for restaurants, but they are now available for homes too. Best of all they are made right here in Reading, PA, altho most people around here don’t even know that. The funny part of all this is that Mom can’t even cook. But she swears she will when she finally gets that range.
The best part of tonight’s meal was the Spudder Soup. Mom says to tell Stover that Mom and Pop both loved it, and nothing could be easier.
8:52 pm on November 16th, 2011
Rio: Yes! We love Apollo! What’s he doing on the Biggest Loser anyway. Is he some kind of coach?
8:53 pm on November 16th, 2011
Friday!… I concur that Friday at 6:00 pm Friday night we stop and say prayers for all in need and all who are not yet in need to stay that way – oh and for Book Five to have a decent Title and Cover-Art…heh!….It’s a Date! And Time!…snort!
8:53 pm on November 16th, 2011
Spudder Soup, that has been served three times in two weeks in the house!
We also had Hot Artichoke Dip by Bollie (ABP) yummers. What was nice? We had that for our vegetable while watching Due South!
I’m up and will be awake at 9 PM on Friday.

TYB, Thanks for the Rin Tin Tin review. ummm We don’t think we will read it.
Rio, I do remember Apollo. I read that he has an acting job now, but I don’t know any more than that.
We had such fun during the Winter Olympics. I miss them…sniff

We have to try that soup. Barb is part German and Irish, so potatoes are her thing.
Never heard of the Blue Star ranges. Are they big commercial tops with 6 burners? Will have to Google them, but they do sound wonderful.
TYB, that is not good new about Rinty’s book. What specifically did you not like? Barb had been looking forward to reading it. Does it have more about the Hollywood hype and back stories than about the actual dogs? Or is it just not well written?
8:00 p.o. CST will work for us here on Friday.
9:02 pm on November 16th, 2011
Rio, That is a great idea! Is Bo coming?
We will be sending healing prayers up for Bluecat’s dad before Friday because his biopsy is that morning.
9:15 pm on November 16th, 2011
Royals: It is done. We will join our fellow Plunderers on Friday at 6 pm at the Circle of Healing Prayer for Macy’s family and Bluecat’s dad.
9:17 pm on November 16th, 2011
Bo!…I’m pretty sure that Bo will be leaving before Friday comes around…grunt!…So, no Bo will not be joining us in prayer or in chowing-down…chuffle!
9:23 pm on November 16th, 2011
Well, darn, I was hoping to get to meet him.
9:26 pm on November 16th, 2011
Friday evening 9:00pm est works for us. Thanks for stepping up, T&G.
Good night all.
9:28 pm on November 16th, 2011
Macy: Mom says she thinks your mom and dad have been very wise with their finances and only good can come of it.
Rio: Wasn’t Apollo on Dancing With the Stars a couple of years ago?
9:46 pm on November 16th, 2011
Apollo!…. Maskers, if we had known he was on that show back then we actually would have watched it…heh!… For some reason she watches it every now and then this season. It is the first time I can recall ever seeing it…grunt!…Not one of my favorites, let me tell ya!…wuffle! …It might be because of the war hero now that I think of it…heh!
10:05 pm on November 16th, 2011
Apollo won DWTS a couple of years ago, I think. He is a real hotty, and we loved his speed skating in the Olympics.
We are hoping for JR this time, and we do usually watch the show, but not always. JR was a 19 yr. old soldier when he was hit by an explosive in Iraq. That was 8 yrs. ago, and he was burned over more than 40% of his body. He is a remarkable young man, just 28 yrs. old who has gone thru a lot.

I was disappointed that such a small part of the book was about the dog(s); it was, I thought, more like a biography of he trainer whose only claim to fame was Rin Tin Tin and his successors.
10:11 pm on November 16th, 2011
On the other hand, I’m reading Dan’s book, White Wings, and I can’t put it down. I think
it’s a GREAT read.
10:13 pm on November 16th, 2011
Rio: J.R. Martinez, the war hero you speak of, starred in one of the daytime soaps from 2008 to 2011. He began doing motivational speaking shortly after recovering from injuries sustained in the Iraq war. We cannot imagine what this poor guy has gone through. Happily, he is enjoying some well deserved success.
Good night everyone = Bear signing off for the evening.
10:34 pm on November 16th, 2011
JR!….Bear, finally now we know why he is considered a “star”…heh!….Both of us were scratching our heads wondering how he got on the show in the first place….grunt!….Now explain to us why Chaz Bono is considered a “star”….snort!
10:45 pm on November 16th, 2011
Thanks for joining in on the Friday evening thing everyone. We have been amazed at Plunderer Power in the past, and we know that this will be one mighty, soaring roar of support and healing.
Hope The Powers That Be of the Blog will join in too. (Mike Baker – that means you too!)
We are signing off for the night. See you all tomorrow.
Good night Macy – good things on the way for you.
Good night BlueCat’s Dad – healing thoughts to you.
Good night Plunderers – we are honored to call you our friends.
10:51 pm on November 16th, 2011
Chaz is a celebrity and a “spokesperson”, but wouldn’t really call him a star. Guess Hope Solo was wigging out at the judges last night, saying they could kiss her booty. She was not being a good looser.
We are heading off to sleppy land. Good night Rio, good night, Bo.
10:56 pm on November 16th, 2011
Us too
night all
10:56 pm on November 16th, 2011
Yes, we too are honored to be plunderers. And there are worse things than being out of work. A friend passed away this weekend and there is no money to bury her, so the state will be in charge, even though she has a plot her family area, they insist that they have to bury her in the state’s version of potter’s field. So sad, and she was the sole care of her elderly mother. Prayers for Marlyn’s mom.
11:26 pm on November 16th, 2011
We are rooting for JR also. He lost an ear in the explosion, and during one training session he joked that he only hears every other word because of it.
He is a great dancer!
11:30 pm on November 16th, 2011
Okay, Community Prayers at 6:00.
So far,we have:
New jobs for Macy’s mom and dad. Macy, you need to let us know what specifically to ask for. We don’t what your dad to end up as a Walmart greeter!
Good Biopsy results for Boobears dad.
Sobriety for Wolfie’s boys.
Barb and Maggie’s house to sell.
Anything else?
11:32 pm on November 16th, 2011
(whispering) Friday, at 6:00 Pacific time. I forgot that part.
And then we’re having a potluck afterwards. Great idea, Rio!!!!!
We’ll bring toffee!
11:34 pm on November 16th, 2011
Macy and BlueCat,
Alice, Abbie and I will be joining y’all this Friday. 8:00 P.m. Friday. I will put it on my google calendar.
11:39 pm on November 16th, 2011
Bluekat, not Boobear. Sorry!
….Circle of Healing…..I like that.
We will pray for Macy’s friend also.
11:45 pm on November 16th, 2011
I’m in on the prayers on Friday night.
And some right now for Blue Cat’s dad and Marlyn’s mom. So sad.
Tyb: Is everyone who is reading White Wings signing it and putting where they live so I can see how far she has travelled? I think Barb and Maggie are next and then Rio. If there is anyone else, speak up. I left my White Wings list of interested readers in Canada. You can still sign up to read White Wings.
Rio: Alice Johnson was not boring sometime in the middle of last night when her and Abigail were having a Chapter 22 moment in my bedroom.
12:08 am on November 17th, 2011
Dawson, You know what a Chapter 22 moment means with Alice don’t you?

I’m on a bit late myself. Long day at work. -40 when I drove to work; -40 when I got home. I think prayer time for me on Friday will be 5:00…someone needs to repeat the prayer list on Friday to make sure we include everything.
12:32 am on November 17th, 2011
time zones for the US including Hawaii and Alaska…

Remember when we all had a world atlas and updated it each year? At least my Dad had them.
12:33 am on November 17th, 2011
I better go to bed…night CHarris and Liz if you peek in. See ya tomorrow.
1:12 am on November 17th, 2011
Yep, prayer time will be at 5 on Friday for Charris and I.
A big tree fell across the driveway today due to the high winds. Batten down the puppies…

I miss seeing my friend, KirbyT.
