Nice Going, Sadie The Scottie
Sadie wins Westminster! Way to go, and congratulations to all the competitors, of whom I missed some, maybe a lot, on account of falling asleep. We’ve been pretty busy lately, me and Bernie. But he says that Sadie and her handler Gabriel Rangel like to watch Animal Planet together, and so do we! Although all that watching didn’t prepare me for some of the things that happened in book 3.
Some question came up down in the bottom part about Leda and the Little Detective Agency? Here’s a bit from the beginning of Dog On It:
The door opened and in, with a little stumble, came Bernie Little, founder and part owner (his ex-wife, Leda, walked off with the rest) of the Little Detective Agency. I’d seen him look worse, but not often.

Improve or Improv?
I'll take improv any day. I'll be out of town for a few days but the cat door is always open and there's a bed and food in case one gets left out in the cold. Dogs will have to jump the fence. Sorry Rio, that probably leaves you OUT! (But you can check at the neighbors if you don't mind some untrimmed standard poodles).Oops.Zip.

Oh, I get it! When they were married, they both got half of the buisness. But when they divorced, Leda kept her half of the buisness. So when it said (Leda walked off with the rest) it meant that 'walked off' was the divorce, and 'with the rest' of the buisness. Thanks, Chet!!

Just finishing watching up the dog show, even though we know who won. The young Junior handler that came in second? We've known her for years. She is wonderful.
Chet, the Newfs loved the snow yesterday and wanted to prove to you that they could be the Irregulars for the Little Detective Agency.
I took the picture with a long lens. This is not something a human wants to be close to because they will get clipped at the knees. And this is just them having fun!

I heard PETA trespassed at the dog show with signs for rescue and against dog breeders. I think there is room for both. I am all for shelter dogs and no-kill shelters, but responsible breeders promote and try to improve their breed. PETA should be going after puppy mills and dog fighting, and leave the good breeders alone. So says my Mom.

Husky Rescue just adopted out a dog to a forever home named Rio. He is smaller than me and just adorable. The adorable part is mom's description, not mine. I would probably grab somebody's pant leg if they called me adorable.

Alice is checking out boxes for shipping herself to the east coast to protect Spence. She has one scouted out but it seems a little big. She might get bounced around too much. She is attempting to find an alternate way to travel. I wonder if anyone out there can dematerialize yet?

Hey, my name's "Chester"… kinda like "Chet", but on account of my being a Welsh Terrier my people never call me just "Chet" plain and simple, they call me "Chester". Something about the Welsh being so proud and proper and something about Tudor and Owain Glyndwr, and other stuff I don't get. I just know when they call me it is always good, like a ride, or some treats, or fun.
Loved the "Chet and Bernie" books!! The absolute best!
