More Chet and Bernie …
… for sure! From this week’s Publishers Weekly (the only inaccuracy – can’t really label it fake news – being the name of the series. DOG ON IT is of course book one.) So, for all those patiently waiting, no worries!

Good morning everyone! Change of publisher? Hope this is good and means lots more C&B books. Quite brisk here: 40’s days and 20’s nights for the next two weeks. Hope we get white stuff this winter…sometime.
Have a tenacious Thursday.

New Chet & Bernie? I want it! Please and thank you.
Rio and friend, the dog that the kids read to may not be a service dog. There are programs like that, where kids who have trouble reading, or reading in front of people, or what have thou, can read to dogs. Low stress for the kids, and the dogs I’m sure love the attention. Those would be something probably more like a therapy dog, or what Canine Companions calls a “facility dog”, which would generally not fall under public access rules and regs. Other states may provide more protection or broader protection, and then rules are again different for airlines and different ones for housing.
Mornin y’all. Couple errands with Angie this morning, and lunch lter. So happy it’s Thursday. or…It’s Thursday. I never could get the hang of Thursdays.

For those who do not know, my sister and I have the family home in Santa Paula, California. This is where I rebuilt a studio on the back terrace for a “Hobbit Hotel-West.” It is in the fire zone but so far is ok. My sister and I had already made plans to spend 10 Days there at Christmas and it will be sad to see the fire damage. Ventura has been hit very hard and also some ranches near Santa Paula. One ranch lost 29 horses. So sad.

Those new publishers probably want to see a book asap. We agree!
CHobbitz: Oh no! I’ve been watching these wildfires with extreme sadness for all the losses.

Thompson Pass on the road to Valdez got 6.5 feet of snow which triggered an avalanche that closed the road. After 24 hours, road crews re-opened the road but another 2 feet of snow is expected. Yeep
I wish Anchorage would get snow rather than freezing rain.
