    Have a tenacious Thursday.

    Good morning!

Mom has been in lurk mode. Why? Who knows. But it is time to get serious about toffee. Estimated shipping date is Monday, December 16. If you would like more than one box, please email us at aller@sti.net, and make a donation to Snowhook.

And guess what? My boy Cody has (finally) agreed to get help! And Chad is doing great! He is living in Oregon and has a good job.

Wolfie, Great to hear from you. You must feel relieved that Cody is getting help. How is Jace?
Your toffee is the best! If we want to order extra, what do you suggest for a $$ amount?

Nice article posted by Spence. I bet Loulou’s mom would agree about the doggy day care facilities.

HOH: Tenacious…good choice of words for this Thursday…lots to do on a tight schedule.
Staff: Interesting that not all liquids are helpful for dehydration. But now we are more worrit about our Bella. Wish she were home with her pack, not flying off to the top of the world every other week.
Dima: Callie loves the jacket. You will too. Don’t be embarrassed. Soon you sisters will be asking for one.

    Greetings!

It is nice to hear your good news, Wolfie!

Dima, I am glad you are feeling tip-top. Maybe the ‘rents will find you a technicolor dream coat.

I had my appendix out, and I still filter pretty well.

Very worrit about our Pixie. Mama Luna, please put your paw down, and get your mama to a good doctor.

Morning, Wose. Good to hear from you. Mom’s worry in the filter dept. is that she is missing several filters (along with her marbles). Tonsils, adenoids, appendix, spleen. This all throws more at the liver, just don’t want it to quiver!

RIO! Maybe I can help out at AC next time. That is of course, if you want to train me. Did your friend open the package she got the other day? If it is not from Yankee Stadium, she may open it and open the card only.

    Good morning all.

Mama says she still has most of her parts – and apparently even has some extras, which is why she is so fluffy.

Gramp has been told (over and over and over again) that Mama can’t have carbohydrates, which is why she doesn’t eat the bread, potatoes or pasta etc that she cooks for the rest of the family. So today, Gramp came home with a box of donuts to thank her for all her help with Callie. He is so proud of himself, because they aren’t carbohydrates – they aren’t made of potatoes after all.

    sigh……

Its pack up day, ready to head off for the show.

For additional boxes of toffee, I was thinking of a Snowhook donation in the area of $8~$10 dollars?

By the way, I am reading a fabulously funny book, Hyberbole and a Half. I would recommend it to anyone!

Tail wags for Wolfie and his good news!

I am certain my pixie mama stole my glitter and is using it as fairy dust in the far north. This makes me very grumpy, you understand.

Wose: Next week my pixie mama is going to take ten days off from work. Using the miles she’s racked up she was able to get a ticket to visit Coach and Bev. Coach knows she is coming, but it is a surprise for Bev. That damn pixie who stole my glitter (uh, did I say that out loud) will relax and rest then.

I spent a lot of time playing with an address and email and phone list for the members of the blog. There are some that I can’t remember/find but I have an awful lot of them.

If you DO NOT want your information on a list like this let me know.

I will wait a week or so for people to tell me their wishes and then put it up on dishlickers. I expect there will be corrections once I have it up. It is a work in progress.

HOH: Yeep! You are missing many parts! I have an extra 1/2 a vertebrae. At least that’s how I remember it from years ago when I went to a chiropractor. “Otherwise you’d be really short.” (As opposed to short, plain and simple.)
Oh well, yes…I’m missing a few teeth and marbles…isn’t everyone?

I had to call the bakery early today and ask that the order I made for pickup today be rescheduled for tomorrow because, duh, that is when the party happens. I was a day early!

The store has just called back and everything is for a go. Not sure if it will get covered but it doesn’t hurt to try.

Anyway, I have proved to myself that I am not in my twenties when I was free and unbounded!

Dima, Mattie has a lot of hair. You sure you don’t want your coat stuffed? I could send you some.

Wolfie: I would love an extra package of toffee. It is goody, good, GOOD! I will send a check to Snowhook.

SMOOCHERS: You should be blurring over to Coach and Bev’s house next week to make sure the Pixie is wrapped gently under the quilt, drinks her water, smooch her up (Kat you are the smoochiest of Smoochers), and provide whatever her heart desires so she can feel tip-top immediately!

All I really need to do is live at a higher elevation in this state. One would think that the elevatin of almost 6,000 feet that I live at would be high enough, but it isn’t. gah

I have extra parts! Extra teeth and an extra kidney and a whole extra vertebrae according to my Chiropractor. That is why I am the tall sister. (Although I am shrinking.)

Another thing I discovered I have extra is a hernia. sniff. It doesn’t hurt and it gives when it is pushed so we are just ‘watching’ it right now. Do you know how much I can safely lift while protecting my hernia? Neither did I. It is less than a vintage sewing machine that is for sure. I got the doctor to go up to 15 pounds so I can carry my Singer Featherweight.

We might want to go easy on Wolfie’s ma. Making and shipping all that toffee must cost a fortune. Or maybe it is just that mom is such a tightwad that she worries about things like that.

Loulou, look your very cutest when sharing the elevator with the celeb neighbor. Maybe you can carry him a little bag of toffee around your neck. Did anyone see the article about the family out east that has some backyard hens they got to help their autistic son. He has made tremendous strides in treatment due to his interaction with the chickens. But now the local town council says they can’t keep them in the city limits. You can keep them in NYC, but not in this little hamlet. Very sad.

The snowstorm that dumped 2 feet of snow in the southern suburbs has now come to the north. It’s a lake effect storm not a general snowfall and those kind oscillate north and south and north and south and dump their snow. Jace is absolutely the most wonderful boy ever! The kids have gotten much better about sharing, but at five months, mom doesn’t want him out of her sight. Mom isn’t good with babies. For example, we all went shopping today and mom sorta misplaced Jace for about five minutes. We were in the checkout line we noticed that his cart was nowhere to be found. It was pretty amazing to see how fast the doors were locked and employees started racing around. We found him safe and sound, right where mom had accidentally left him!

Macy, have you not read our many, many complaints about not being able to upload photos? For several months we have had to ask for help from T & G and Melanie to get our photos on the blog. One other blogger mentioned not being able to upload.

Howlers, If the weather was just cold Barb opened the little coop door which faced west. If it was windy or snowing hard and blowing towards the coop door, then she didn’t open it. If there was a lot of snow, they usually wouldn’t go out, but at least if gave them fresh air.

There’s some irony in the blind guy being able to post photos. … I’d’ve taken some of my trip to New York, except they would have probably been things like the sides of buildings, or empty space, or floating heads or something like that. Probably best I didn’t.

Sorry Rio. I’m using a Mac at the moment, but I’ve got both a Windows 7 and Windows 8 machines with IE11 on them, and will try posting a photo from one of those. Oh, and I posted using Google Chrome on the Mac, so you might try installing Chrome. I wouldn’t advise rolling back to IE8, as you’ll leave yourself open to more security vulnerabilities than by staying current. Just try a different browser, like Chrome or Firefox. Heck, they’re free, it’ll just cost you a bit of hard drive space.

Dima we all think you look very dashing in your sweater. Kind of a cross between Bernie and Magnum PI. Callie has to wear a sweater since her whole side and chest are shaved. Today, we dug out a bizarre shawl that someone gave us years ago. IT is crocheted out of brown “eyelash” yarn, and if you hold one side, it “grows”, and if you turn it around and hold the end, it grows that way. It is truly hideous, but we never had the heart to throw it away since it was a handmade gift, given by a lovely woman with a generous heart (and no taste). Today, that brown, furry shawl was a wonderful way to wrap Callie up for her perambulations. She looked like a brown and white Newf.

Macy – you are a (very funny) bad puppy.
