Mental Problems
“What happened to Ezra Printz?” Suzie said.
“Good question,” Bernie said. “Records show he spent time in Stockton State Hospital.”
“Meaning he had mental problems?” said Suzie.
Portia interrupted. “The whole family’s out of their minds.”
“Which explains why Kelo married you,” said Trimmer.
Portia gave him a quick kick. “Zip it, bro.”
“Another inmate at Stockton State,” Bernie continued, “was the painter Martin Ramirez. He’s considered a great artist now, but his life was kind of miserable. It’s my guess that he and Ezra met and somehow the murder film got switched with a painting. Maybe they made a trade.”
“But you found the can with the painting in Death Valley,” Suzie said.
“Chet did, actually.”
My tail started up.
“How did it get there?” Suzie said.
I waited to hear. Bernie was always the smartest human in the room.

Zoie has had her second bout of kennel cough in a month. She's been on the meds a week. Today, she started to feel *much* better. To the point where she was dancing and leaping and bowing in the living room, throwing her chew at me and diving after it, trying to entice me to try to take it away from her. She wants to *play*. Yesterday she was digging holes in the base for the patio that we spent all last week building up and tamping down. Maybe after the inspector comes we could have a long walk…

Glad you're feeling better, Zoie. I've done some patio digging myself. Never gets old.

Rebecca/Zoie…..EEK!! Kennel cough stinks. It took ages for Tiny, my Chihuahau, to get better from kennel cough, even with preventive meds. Tiny was in the kennel for less than 24 hours and ended up in the cat room b/c he was too terrified of the bigger dogs. I know, Chet…..CATS!! ACK!

It’s amazing how varied a range of views one finds using the internet. I may not agree with everything you say, but it does push you to perhaps settle back and re-think your own personal bias and habits. So thanks for that.
