Meet Vhoebe the Leaper!

Have a good weekend, everybody. Spence is unpacking, although most of what he took on the tour seems to be missing.

    Welcome home, Spence!

Chet, would you be able to out-leap Vhoebe. I know you do that best.

    I am getting wonderfluffed today.

Everyone has a very good Saturday!!

    Good Morning to All,

You know Rock Stars tend to lose things on tour. Of course, that is when the fans mob them. Hmmmm

Wonderful Dock Diving . . Our vet is training her dog to dock dive. Masie’s first public jump was straight down off the dock. snicker. She is now flying at 16.5 feet.

Masie’s brother is a champion around here. Might be some sibling competition?

Off to get lobstah . .

Melanie: I finally caught up on yesterday’s posts and saw your news. I had the same reaction that Golinka had—I was MAD. How dare cancer pick on you?!? But, then I saw that it can be cured, and hope and gratitude replaced the anger. Like all the others have said, we are in your corner. Head bumps…

More to Melanie: Tenzing wants to make sure you don’t forget he makes a great pillow.

Wose: While my Two-Legged is off enjoying herself, I’m working hard at my Smooching duties and keeping an eye on the Kennel. My Two-Legged said I was in charge before she left. She may have been looking at someone standing behind me when she said, “You’re in charge,” but I’m sure she meant me.

My Two-Legged hasn’t had a relaxing vacation as she hoped. She spent time at the clinic yesterday for a sinus infection which made her grumpy. She also has had to work almost every day. Grump!

    Good morning!
T&G, the story with stink bugs is that they hang on your window screen until they find a way indoors. They are pervasive. And if you squish them, they let off an odor that you will never get rid of. What we do is oh-so-gently pick them up with a square of toilet paper, and flush them down down down. Others, like HOH said, vacuum them up and then discard the bag somewhere not in the house.
Today, they are hoping to complete the chickies’ large addendum, after the usual barn cleaning. Mom is reading a wonderful book, so she may be m.i.a. after those jobs are done.
Melanie, if Kat becomes a nuisance, you can send her home. Her feelings won’t be (too) hurt.

Feel better SnowBella! You need to relax. You’ll have to learn it from someone else . . I seem to have problems with that.

Do chickens eat stinkbugs, and if they do, what do the chickens eggs small like?

Barb is still trying to pace herself with TSATF. She is up to Chapter 23, so about two thirds through. Excellent book, and so hard to set down.

Has anyone checked out the new A. Hillerman book yet? Siber? Do you think the storyline will be seamless?

Barb has to do her makeup and hair and head down to see the kids before the Home Coming dance. Will be gone several hours, but will try to check in upon return. Rain just started, so probably no outside pictures.

Mom really needs to get some different crunchy bones. These are cheapo Target brand, which I am not too crazy about, but Holly really let her know how she felt. Everybody took theirs, but Holly dropped hers on the ground and peed on it. That’s letting her know you aren’t happy by golly Holly.

According to that article, stink bugs are native to China and Korea and first appeared 15 years ago. They may have come off of cargo ships and are now in 40 states. Here’s a link to another article on them which includes a video on how to keep them out.

Macy, we have not heard that term around here, but Barb remembers (when she was young) women saying they were going to put on their face. Barb now has face on and her hair curled, so hopefully she won’t embarrass her granddaughter in front of all her cool friends.

Remember I told youse guys that the gal my friend works with right now was an Etymologist? Well, she is actually a Entomologist. Meaning she likes to study insects and bugs and probably spiders. That’s telling those biscuits Holly!

Usually Tupper doesn’t look like she’s about to suck the blood out of tomatoes. That is one weird look.

Had a friend who worked in Costa Rico for awhile. He didn’t mind the iguana’s that were over two feet long that lived in the walls and ceilings. He did mind the spiders that would visit inside. One was the size of a plate.

Yeah, strike that area off my list of places to go.
