Report! We can report that Bev survived her first day under the care of Coach and our Lady. They were congratulating themselves on a job well done last evening. Luna discouraged us from pointing out the day was not over yet. We can also report there had been some concerned express (cough…by Rio…cough) about their ability to, er, feed MaBella. Not to worry. The have expanded their knowledge of local take-out options that works for her very bland diet. Gak! We can also report that they flew too close to the sun this morning when Coach tried his paw at making her and egg for breakfast. In true shake it off fashion, they are now plotting from which restaurant they should hunt and gather her lunch.

Thieves! I am glad MaBella is back in the comfort of her home. If I were a betting person, I would bet that Coach and the Pixie are glad that there are such a things as “take-out”, “Grubhub”, and “DoorDash.” :^)

Snowbella: as long as smoke alarms weren’t a part of cooking, you are better cooks than you give yourself credit for. My attendant says protein shakes and smoothies are delish and nutritious.

Today I am trying to find more salmon. BBL

Good day to everyone and Stella who is a good dog?
Really good news about Bev. Mom is really fortunate that the DDD loves to cook but he is terrible at cleanup so the kitchen is a mess.
Our folks are looking forward to Sunday morning so they can beat the Baptists to a little Italian restaurant not far from here for a lovely lunch. We like it when they go because we get all kinds of wonderful leftovers in our dinners!

Sun!…Because of the mention of getting too close to the Sun, we here are thinking Coach may have burnt Bev’s egg…gurgle!sniff!

Rio: We aren’t up to date in all the latest egg trends, but we are under the impression Bev prefers her eggs with less shell. To each their own.

Just to be clear, eggs are supposed to be served sans shell? We’re asking for a friend.

Bev!…Poor Bev!…guh!…Thieves, eggs are supposed to be served sans shell at all time…grunt!…Fried, over-easy, scrambled, hard boiled, soft boiled and then there is Poached!..snort!..One way we here have never tried. But if done right is supposed to be delectable!…wobble!

My attendant occasionally has a bit of shell in her eggs. She figures shells are calcium like milk is and therefore good for bones so no biggie. As to blackened eggs, that just adds another layer of flavor. Another tip is that you can buy beaten eggs in a carton and all you have to do is pour the desired amount into the skillet. Is long as you don’t cook with high heat, eggs should come out unburnt. Faster is not better (I disagree with her on the last point). Also bacon is delish even if burnt

I like my eggs Basted Medium. My sister taught me this when she was a waitress. I described it and she told me what it was in waitress speak.
Sunny side up with the white hard and the yolks runny. NOT over easy.
