Morning everyone. That IMAX movie sounds like a good one to catch and isn’t Henry quite handsome dressed for work?
    Have a great Thursday.

    Greetings!

Sounds like a great film, and Henry is super-cool!

HRH, B: Have you finished “Ruff vs. Fluff” yet? ;^)

Today is the home opener for my Yankees…Yay!

    Good day to all!

And today is the home opener for our Nationals, they are playing the Mets. Baseball season is officially here. Any predictions, Spence?

Rio: My second favorite team is still the Rockies.

At the Cheetah Conservation Fund in Namibia, they have dogs trained to locate cheetah by the smell of their poop (dried poop – it’s hot and not humid in the savanah, and everything dries fast). The dogs will walk right past leopard poop, jackal poop, whatever, and only signal if they find cheetah.

Those beautiful dogs do important work. Very cool.

Rio – thanks for asking about my girl last night. She’s able to work other than treatment weeks and enjoys day-to-day life.
    Please check your SDD.

Um…Spence…Paws vs. Claws shows up for pre-order. Was I reading every other line? Did you already tell us?

B: I may need to lay or lie low—maybe both—at your place for a while. It’s possible someone ate the Giant’s glasses. I’m being finger for it mainly because I did it.

A very interesting article. I want to see this film that lets you “kind of be a dog” while watching it.

Frede: That is also an interesting site about dog…and cheetahs.

BlueCat: I guess I missed what is going on with your girl. I’ve been reading every 4th word or so. Best wishes to you.

    Charlie: Oh no!

I’ve got a particular bad case of fever chills cough runny nose and have been spending way too much time resting in bed. So I finished Ruff vs Fluff in no time and consider it a tasty appetizer for the next Chet and Bernie. Then I read Judith by Lawrence Durrell and now I’m going to start A Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood. Thank dog for books to make life better.

Rose!…The ending is disturbing and kind of unbelievable…sniff!…Maybe a little over the top. But I bet the book provides way more clues than the HBO movie…grunt!

Dawson!….Wow!…let me know how “A Hand Maids Tail” is as I’ve always wanted to read it and haven’t…..grunt!

Spencer: I loved the back and forth between Queenie and Arthur and can almost picture those two cuddling up together after a few years.

    Rio: Will do.

Sharp Objects: My dil gave me this book to read when I was passing through one time and needed something to read. Double Ugh!

Sickness!…It amazes me how people, like Dawson, who live in a very small community get so sick every year…grunt!…Or Mother, who hardly ever leaves my house, now has a cold…wheeze!…Yet my friend who works in a germ infested library day after day and never gets sick…snort!…Knock on Charlie’s wooden head…heh!heh!…How does this happen? Or not happen as the case may be…sniff!sniff!

Dawson!…So the book doesn’t give any explanation of the outcome any better???….yeeep!…If this is true then it’s a cheap out for the author…grumble!…I hate that.

Sharp!…Sorry, I still have things to say about Sharp Objects…sigh!…My friend says she hasn’t even heard the “M” word in at least 15 to 20 years..(this may be an exaggeration of memory)….grunt!…So it was the first unexpected thing. But there is no explanation for the rest of it…unless the book gives it up. The movie ended with so many questions…gruffle!grump!
