Malachy the Peke
“What a performer!” Spence says.
“No question,” says Admin. “Excellent start to Westminster. But no time to discuss it.”
“Because you’re off to the florist’s?”
“You got it.”
“Roses and lilies?”
“Always.”
“Happy Valentines Day, everybody!”
Welcome Aiko & Winchester, Shira & Sapphi.

Good morning all. Arrrgghhh Admin. I hope you already placed your order. Just be kind to the people at the florist. I am pretty sure they have had a very busy few days.
Happy Valentine’s Day. We are going to celebrate with a…wait, didn’t anybody get something for the pooches? *sniff*
“Nobody likes me, everybody hates me,
I’m gonna eat a worm”
Actually, that sounds pretty tasty.
BBL after worm hunting expedition.

Macy, Good morning. Is your mama working today, or is the craziness passed?
we saw the Min Pin last night in the Toy Group. That hacking gait is pretty cool. Do you do that? You remind me of a Saddlebred horse; they do that gait too.
We don’t get the Peke thing. They seem to win a lot, and they can’t even walk. The Tabetian Spaniel looked like what the Peke probably looked like before humans started fooling around with their genes. Malachy couldn’t herd anything!
8:53 am on February 14th, 2012
Good Morning Macy, and B&M:
We here at the blog, love you Macy, especially a certain Mr. Redbone.
The Peke looks like one of the dust balls at the corner of my desk.
Wishing everyone a Happy Valentine’s Day!

Yes, Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! I hope Admin. is getting some lovely flowers for Mrs. Admin.
Today is Dan’s visit home. Hoping it go smoothly for all. Be safe.

Yukon Quest: One of the closest finishes ever. Hugh Neff edged out Allan Moore for first place! All dogs happy!
Rose: Time to dust!
Macy: Worms? Ugh! But better than nuthin’. Wait…none for me thanks.
Melanie: Here’s to a good visit with the physio.
Happy Valentine’s Day!

(whispering) Now if we only knew what color roses and lilies Admin was getting. We would then know the secret message!
The Language of Flowers: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Language_of_flowers
My bouquet of flowers to Spencer, Admin, Chet and The Plunderers …
First a beautiful pot made (in my imagination) by a certain Royals’ Mum that has a canyon for Chet full of good smells and javelinas to hunt. The colors are desert colors of red and gold.
Pear Blossoms, Red and White roses together, and Oak leaves. For inspiration? Quilled Bells of Ireland!
Happy Valentine’s Day Everyone!

Stover!…Are you eating chocolate right now?….hmmmm?…slurp!
10:24 am on February 14th, 2012
Awwww, Riö, you big softie! You can lick my face, but I’ll just shake hands with Beau.
10:33 am on February 14th, 2012
Rio, thank you for the card. Yeah, we agree with Melanie. Beau is not getting close to our faces!
Barb is aggravated. Her check to OFA has not cleared yet, so she called Columbia, Mo. this morning. X-ray results are supposed to take 3 weeks to get back. They looked up my records, and first of all the x-rays taken on 1/23 didn’t reach them until 2-2, then they were not labeled correctly, so had to be sent back to our vet. They got them back last Thurs, 2/9! Obviously we will not be receiving test results any time soon! Gaah! as someone would say!
10:34 am on February 14th, 2012
Rio: LOL! (I’ll pull your curly tail.)
10:35 am on February 14th, 2012
Beau!…Good luck with that Melanie!…snort!…Beau doesn’t like his paws touched…sniff!…The bad news is he almost bit her mother yesterday when she was reprimanding him for once again pissing on the side of someone’s good couch…grunt!….Her mother says, “If he ever bites me he is outta here!”….heh!heh!
10:38 am on February 14th, 2012
Good morning all and happy Valentine’s day tonal of you who are near and dear to our hearts.
We always said that the best thing about Pekes is that if they run away from home, you’ve got about a week to find time to go look for them- after that they may actually be out the end of the driveway
(hey, we may have short legs, but we can RUN!)
Gotta head for the bakery to get a yummy something for our Sweetheart. Hope all goes well for Melanie’s household. And Dawson- we’ve been meaning to say thank you. So happy that lady has a great home.

Happy Valentine’s day to all you lovely ladies here on the blog, both the two-legged and four-legged. Husky hugs and kisses to each and every one of you…you, too, Rio.
Happy Valentine’s Day to everyone else!
What a finish to the Yukon Quest!

Thanks for the cute card, Rio. I’ll pass on the lick.
11:15 am on February 14th, 2012
Thank you for Valentine kiss Siber doggie. Your Natasha knows you only meant for her, but you are polite to include others.
(but vould you really kiss Rio? Ve may have to talk about that!)
11:22 am on February 14th, 2012
Borzoi, well, no, I wouldn’t really kiss Rio, but I like to scare him with the idea of it.
11:25 am on February 14th, 2012
Today’s cartoon of Dog Eat Doug features a husky puppy.
I’m hoping this is because of the Iditarod starting soon and that this husky puppy character will continue.
I tried to add the link to the cartoon but it won’t go. Stupid moderator. Just google it.
11:55 am on February 14th, 2012
Doug!…I didn’t see a Husky puppy in todays cartoon…sniff!…I saw the one with the good china…heh!
11:58 am on February 14th, 2012
Husky!…I saw the Husky! I went to a different link…heh!

Dawson: Dust?….What’s that????
Rio: How very sweet of you to post a card.
12:02 pm on February 14th, 2012
Today is my 2-legged brother’s birthday. He’s 25. He celebrated last weekend with a night out with the guys. He started off with a Long Island Iced Tea (not a drop of tea in it), then visited the cornucopia of adult beverages by imbibing in tequila shots, Jack and coke and rum and coke, beer, and maybe some other variations that he couldn’t remember. He did call for a ride. I think youth is wasted on the young. Mom has 1 gin and tonic and she falls asleep. Sheesh!
Here’s a picture of the “kid” taken on Christmas day.
12:04 pm on February 14th, 2012
To all the four-leggeds on the site…
Love, hugs, sritches, tummies, and rubbies to you all.
SiberH: Sneaking in a quick kiss before Natsaha scratches my eyes out.
Masquers: More hugs, love, kisses and scritches especially to you!
12:05 pm on February 14th, 2012
I found the Husky puppy on the second try also. What a cute little guy! I hope it continues.
Jasper, Happy Birthday to your two-leeged brother!
12:08 pm on February 14th, 2012
Happy Valentine’s Day Everyone!
Thanks for the card Rio and the flowers Melanie.
Paws crossed all goes smoothly for you, Zoe and Dan today.
Mollypop’s Mom: I found Doug, but not that link…will keep trying.
12:12 pm on February 14th, 2012
Jasper: Happy B-Day to your brother. (whispering) and how is he feeling this fine day?)
Thank you, Rose! Purrs and headbutts to you.
12:27 pm on February 14th, 2012
Happy Valentines to all the Plunderers, and to Admin and Spence too.
Mom gave us each a special Valentines cookie this morning. Sasha’s was bone-shaped and saild LOVE with a heart. Dima’s was a big heart and also said LOVE. Meashka’s was aHUGE bone that said BEST FRIENDS. And Kat’s was a bone and said WAG with a heart. They all had icing and were delish.
Kat thanks youse for hearing her loud and clear and getting the point across to Mom, who wasn’t listening to us or Kat (or maybe she was but still was afraid). Kat knows that now she is understood so she is very happy. And she is in Kat Kamp today.
We found the Doug husky who likes to run. We like him.
Rio, we will have to wait until Mom comes home and turns on the big computer toview yourcard. This iPaw won’t let us view it.

Heh, heh. Did you all see the “pug in the moon”?
1:06 pm on February 14th, 2012
Good morning all!
Two things come to mind this morning. Actually, it’s something I’ve been thinking about for months but in particular now as we whittle down the days towards Iditarod.
The first thought is I need to express a deep gratitude towards all of you for your support both in thought and financially. For many of my adventures and pursuits in life I’ve tackled them on my own as I don’t come from a background where I could expect help. So it comes as a welcome surprise to me that you all have stepped up to help get the team to Nome and I feel overwhelmed by your willingness to support us.
Rebecca and I are very grateful for your generosity and I will take that on the trail with me this year!
The other thought is more for Rebecca. Now, I’ve been asked over the last couple of years what are the most difficult parts of Iditarod. There are steep descents down ice filled ravines, open water, miles of tusseks, cold weather and well the list goes on.
As I ponder the response to this question and these parts of the trail, none of these things tend to scare me nor do I find them difficult. They are simply challenges to overcome to me. What I do find difficult on the trail is this and it answers the first question and also one Rebecca has asked in the past.
Rebecca wonders what I think about on the trail mile after mile. The answer is simple and the one part of Iditarod that I find difficult. I think about her and wish she could be with me.
The first part of the race it’s a feeling something akin to I’m moving away from her and that can be hard. As our relationship stands we move with each other through our adventures and don’t often do well apart. However, as I cross over some line in the race I start to think that I’m moving back towards her and the race again becomes an adventure for both of us again easing that difficulty.
So, to conclude before this becomes too sensitive. Thank you very much and well…. Rebecca I love you.
AJ
And as this doesn’t have spell check or grammar check…. hit a mental F9 for me…
1:10 pm on February 14th, 2012
OMD! AJ, that was beautiful. Not a dry tear in the house here. Thanks for sharing your Valentine with all of us on this blog.
1:15 pm on February 14th, 2012
sniff, What a wonderful Valentine’s Day present for Rebecca, AJ.
I know it made our Valentin’s Day a lot brighter. sniff
Rebecca is there with you on the trail. (whispering) All of us will be too.
1:31 pm on February 14th, 2012
Thank you AJ.
1:34 pm on February 14th, 2012
First let me get the business of life out of the way.
The home evaluation went well. The PT was great. He went through each room.
Liked what we had done to keep Dan safe with the dogs. He gave Dan a speech about NOT doing things he is not told.
The list is a long one.
Dan looks good. Is much stronger than he was at Thanksgiving.
He did still want to get the kitchen reorganized so he can use it. But the PT dude said that at this point he is not allowed to get anything but a glass of water, lean back again the counter and drink it. So we don’t have to tell him yet that he won’t be cooking.
Loved the cards!
AJ, you touched my heart. Smooth, fast and safe run, Melanie and The Pack
1:36 pm on February 14th, 2012
Sniff, sniff, sniffle.
2:31 pm on February 14th, 2012
AJ: Your beautiful, heartfelt letter brought tears to our eyes. You, Rebecca and the Pack are part of our family. We are so honored to travel with you and the team this year on the Iditarod trail. Rebecca, you are going too!
2:38 pm on February 14th, 2012
AJ carries Rebecca on the trail next to his heart.
2:52 pm on February 14th, 2012
AJ!…The Giant has spoken and it was good….snort!
2:55 pm on February 14th, 2012
AJ, that was such a wonderfully beautiful, heart-felt message.
You’ll never be without Rebecca on the trail, because she is the heart beating inside your chest. When you think it is impossible to go on, Rebecca is the voice in your ear that says “just a little further.”
And when Rebecca is home, chewing on a pillow, while you and the team are on the snowy trails, the Plunderers will be the ones to
comfort her, keep her chin up, and root for you the loudest!
Happy Valentine’s Day to you and Rebecca!!!!
3:03 pm on February 14th, 2012
Rose: Hear, Hear!
3:07 pm on February 14th, 2012
Pillows!…Rebecca chews on couch covers too?…heh!
3:40 pm on February 14th, 2012
You have all said it so well already. Thank you, AJ. We sniffled a little too.
Melanie, Glad today went well, but we will still worry about Dan. Will he remember to leave cooking duties to the others and to use his walker?
3:48 pm on February 14th, 2012
Dan!…The Man! It gladdens my pug heart and my flat head to know he is looking stronger these days….snort!…Nothing can keep the Raven down for long!…Wooo!
3:50 pm on February 14th, 2012
The PT person knows that Dan has problems following the rules.
He was very up front with Dan. If he doesn’t use the walker correctly or just not use it, the trouble with this bones and strength will cause him too lose his balance, and he will fall. The PT dude then went on to say that Dan would probably break something else and this time it might not be a simple break. He might have to go for surgery and because of his other problems have trouble with the anesthesia. Dan looked taken aback by this, but just before this anyone could tell that Dan was trying to figure out how to squiggle his way around the rules.
I have back up now. Thank Dog.
3:51 pm on February 14th, 2012
AJ – if Natasha’s heart vas not already given to von certain Siber, you vould be first in dreams.
Bella- is good you two have found each other in this universe. Is true you are perfect team.
Ve vould have tears in eyes if ve vere allowed to be sentimental. Since ve are instead Vorld’s Toughest Undercover Spy, ve vill simply say ve vish you Happy Day of the Valentine. Is good to remember real meaning of love.

Hate waiting.
4:24 pm on February 14th, 2012
SIBES ARE ON NOW! Big group!
4:25 pm on February 14th, 2012
Melanie: It is good to have a PT who doesn’t flinch in front of Dan’s strong will and tells him like it is. Happy to hear all went smoothly during the visit…nice for Zoe to have him there for Valentine’s Day, if only for a while. Sounds like he will soon be home!
4:25 pm on February 14th, 2012
She’s decided the group in two.
4:27 pm on February 14th, 2012
Divided not decided. sigh
Thanks BSD

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!
4:49 pm on February 14th, 2012
I was able to see the Sibers! Thanks Melanie!
So, to be a Show Siber you have to be Wonderfluffed and can’t wear any eye makeup…bummer.
Melanie, Dan is doing well and you have good backup! I’m glad the day went well, and we will be praying that Dan will follow instructions.
4:59 pm on February 14th, 2012
Happy Birthday to Jasper’s brother. Only the young can celebrate like that and rebound the next day. I think a Long Island Ice Tea has 5 or more shots in it, right?
5:00 pm on February 14th, 2012
SiberH!…How come they can’t wear make-up?…grunt!
5:08 pm on February 14th, 2012
What a heartfelt tribute to Rebecca. Sniffle. Sniffle.
Zoe & Melanie – been there; you’ll laugh and cry. Prayer with you all.
Roses and lilies – must be Admin’s a softie – honoring Mrs. PSQA and their daughters.
Happy Valentine’s Day, Everybody. Sweet dreams tonight.
5:15 pm on February 14th, 2012
Rio, I don’t know, but none of those Sibers had any black around their eyes or on their faces…maybe that is what the AKC thinks we should look like. Most of those Sibers all looked rather alike. Personally, I think The Hot One and Kat are far better looking.
5:21 pm on February 14th, 2012
Clones!…. We just watched the Pug judging and all those guys looked like clones of one another….snort!… My friend says I have a unique look and even though I will never win a competition she says I’m her favorite…sniff!…Well, she didn’t say those words exactly….cough!… Maybe not at all actually, but I bet she’s thinking them…wuffle!
5:40 pm on February 14th, 2012
Eeeek–Maybe those are cloned Sibers and cloned Pugs in the show ring.
5:41 pm on February 14th, 2012
Westminster will be on again tonight at 8PM my time on USA I think.
6:07 pm on February 14th, 2012
On facebookie Spence posted a reminder of the drawing for the quilt on Snowhook’s blog and a funny line about Valentine’s Day.
6:07 pm on February 14th, 2012
Long Island Iced Tea: 1 drink
1 part vodka
1 part tequila
1 part rum
1 part gin
1 part triple sec
1 1/2 parts sweet and sour mix
1 splash Coca-Cola®
6:08 pm on February 14th, 2012
Where did you guys see the breed competitions?
6:22 pm on February 14th, 2012
Thinking of Macy saying how folks wait until the very last day to make their gift purchases. In CA the corners were always dotted with little flower stands for just such occasions. Fast and convenient, but more expensive.
Rio: Thanx for letting me know the Big Kat arrived safely in Colorado and right on schedule.
Rose did you ever send your Iditarod pictures to Tyb’s dad for resizing? I can’t imagine the trip without you and Zelda.
Melanie: I think that drink is called A Suffering Bas—d. snicker
6:35 pm on February 14th, 2012
Macy – I hope Mrs. Al Baker enjoyed her flowers.
6:39 pm on February 14th, 2012
Siber: Was Huskavarna’s Destined To Win in the competition?
7:04 pm on February 14th, 2012
Masquers, Did she win? I had no sound with mine and I could barely tell one Siber from another. I hope she won because of Togo.
7:23 pm on February 14th, 2012
Huskavarna received an Award of Merit.
7:36 pm on February 14th, 2012
Cool, Thanks Melanie. I don’t know what an Award of Merit is but I figure it is a good thing.
8:06 pm on February 14th, 2012
Well, there’s …
Best of Breed
Best of Opposite (so if the BOB winner was a dog, this would be a bitch)
Then come the Awards of Merit. They are like third, fourth, fifth and so on depending on the judge.
Huskavarna had the first Award of Merit giving. Good work!
Didn’t recognize any of the Newfs that won.
8:07 pm on February 14th, 2012
The Best of Breed will go in the the Working Group. The winner of the Working Group will go into Best of Show.
8:08 pm on February 14th, 2012
Sigh. Thank you for sharing your heart with us, AJ.
We will take good care of your Rebecca while you are on the trail. And even though you can’t see or hear us, know that we will be with you and the team, cheering you on.
Sniff. Honk.
8:10 pm on February 14th, 2012
Hi everyone – we got here just in time for the show. We love to see dogs in the ring that have their tails going a mile a minute.
The Flat Coat Retrievier is a clown!
8:18 pm on February 14th, 2012
Setters!….I’m watching the Labs and the Setters, this is supposed to be LIVE, so if you guy are ahead of me and see the winner and POST it…sniff!…I will be pissed off…grunt!
8:22 pm on February 14th, 2012
Sammie!…I just saw Sammie in the Subaru camping commercial…heh!snort!…I wonder how much she got paid for that job?…sniff!
8:39 pm on February 14th, 2012
Newfies!…Which group will we get to see the Newfandland?…snort!….Or the SiberH?…heh!…They are still coming up, right?…sniff!
8:39 pm on February 14th, 2012
Sam would be paid between $350 and $400 per day. Unless she learns a whole bunch of stunt tricks! Then about $500 a day!
Riö, better cosy up to Sam and maybe she’ll help increase your treat budget. 🙂
8:41 pm on February 14th, 2012
The Newf and Siber will both be in the Working Group!
8:42 pm on February 14th, 2012
OK Rio – we won’t say, but our favorite just won the sporting group.
8:44 pm on February 14th, 2012
That “I could be great” commercial makes Mama cry every time.
8:44 pm on February 14th, 2012
That looked like an ES driving the car, but don’t know if they are just featuring AKC breeds in that ad.
Emily had 15 puppies last spring. Wow what a gal!
8:46 pm on February 14th, 2012
The winner is beautiful!
8:47 pm on February 14th, 2012
YSAS just finished. He’s actually on Staten Island in a beautiful theater for this shoot. Two more days of work for him!
Well, headed to bed. Tomorrow I go into the hospital to have portions of my body smashed. Wow … So looking forward to that!
But after that The Royals’ Mum and I will be going to shop for support for the afore mentioned parts. Should have a lot of fun after all that.
TTFN
8:50 pm on February 14th, 2012
Timing!….I think we are all watching the same thing (for a change) so disregard any comment about holding back on comments during the show….sniff!…The Working Group is up next and there should be a Newfie and a SiberH somewhere in that mix…heh!
8:57 pm on February 14th, 2012
There’s a Doberman in the working group!
9:02 pm on February 14th, 2012
I gotta get those hair extensions like Siber-H suggested.
9:11 pm on February 14th, 2012
WHY is that woman with the Great Dane wearing such a silly hat?
9:13 pm on February 14th, 2012
I am watching the groups. Were are you seeing the breed competition?
9:14 pm on February 14th, 2012
We aren’t watching Westminster, but we appreciate the play-by-play from youse guys. We were playing with the horses, and giving them their Valentines treats. We just got back indoors and it’s time for bed, drat it! But we are going to watch some of the grammys we recorded Sunday night, til we fall asleep. Sibers never win these shows anyways.
Melanie, good luck tomorrow, whatever is getting smashed.
Good night all.
9:14 pm on February 14th, 2012
Well, I finished another Valentine’s Day at school. Arrived at 6 am to start blowing up balloon bouquets and the fire alarm went off at 6:10 {{{{sigh}}}. All these years I’ve never received any Valentine anything so it just means an exhausting day for me. But I kind of look forward to it– the students enjoy it and I enjoy seeing their friendships and romances. After school I got out my new digital camera, took the dogs outside and tried to get photos to send to Rebecca. You’d think I was pointing a gun at them–I’m not sure I got anything recognizable or useable. Now to a long hot bath.
9:15 pm on February 14th, 2012
Scooby!…Dooo!..heh!…That Great Dane is amazing…sniff!…The handler not so much.
9:21 pm on February 14th, 2012
That is a beautiful Newf – but we know some prettier ones.
9:23 pm on February 14th, 2012
Why does that dog have a naked butt? Don’t look, Annie.
9:26 pm on February 14th, 2012
Siberians have a “loving but headstrong” temperment? Really Siber?
tee hee
9:28 pm on February 14th, 2012
That woman had to be wearing men’s shews. No way do they make women’s shews that ugly.
9:29 pm on February 14th, 2012
I think we figured out the parts that are getting smashed tomorrow. Good luck with that. Not fun, but necessary!
Lot of good looking dogs in this Working Group!
9:29 pm on February 14th, 2012
Macy – we think that some of the show cuts that they subject dogs to are just nuts.
We talk about the overdone fluff on the poodles, and then the announcer talks about how that cut was for hunting; the full hair was supposed to keep joints and chest warm.
Yah, sure.
If its a hunting cut, why isn’t the dog shown in the sporting group?
9:32 pm on February 14th, 2012
Woo hoo Bee – the Dobie!
9:33 pm on February 14th, 2012
The Doberman won!!!!
9:33 pm on February 14th, 2012
OMD that Dobie was sooo beautiful. I wish I was taller.

Handler!…I liked the Handler who had a brush stuck down her backside…heh!heh!…I forget which guy she was handling…chorkel!…That was right up there with the funny little hat fashion-wise…snort!
SiberH!… Did you catch where the annoucer said the Siber cannot be trusted off the leash?…heh!

Macy, They call that a lion cut. Not sure if there is any practical reason for it. The PWD has it and I think there was one last night with the same cut.
Poodles did start out as a practical cut, but it has become foo-foo. They left hair around the joints and kidneys for protection against cold water. Leaving all the hair on weighted down the dog too much when they were in the water. So the story goes.
9:43 pm on February 14th, 2012
We think that most show poodles are embarrased by that hair do. Especially the males – they have to wear foo foo in front and have all their underbits shaved and exposed.
(and the other dogs snicker at them)

Let’s here it for the Dobie! A win for Brandy. Wookie
10:00 pm on February 14th, 2012
Well it was not a fun Valentines day here. I spent the night before tossing my cookies and most of the day sleeping in between quick runs to the bathroom. (Pun intended) Mom, Maggie, started the infection two days before and then I continued it. Luckily Mr.Staff did not have to go to work today so he brought me liquids and tried to give me stuff to eat. Mr.Staff’s help was in the true spirit of Valentines day. Better than flowers. I feel much better tonight, but not good enough to go to my busy place tomorrow. Maybe Thursday.
AJ’s post made me all sentimental. What a sweet guy!
I wish I felt good enough to watch Westminster and am sorry I missed the end of the Yukon Quest.
10:06 pm on February 14th, 2012
I’m laughing at Macy wanting to be taller!
10:08 pm on February 14th, 2012
Thank you Wookie!
10:25 pm on February 14th, 2012
Sickie!…Get better soon Staff…sniff!…You are missing all the fun being in the bathroom all the time…grunt!
Best!…Best in Show coming up any minute now…snort!
10:26 pm on February 14th, 2012
Gilly here for Macy – Sheep? Did you say sheep? Can I herd it?
10:30 pm on February 14th, 2012
There are some truly lovely dogs in Best in Show.
We love the Wire Dachshund and the Dobie. But we think the German Shepherd will win. We don’t like the way Shepherds are bred these days with the sloping back, but that is the standard.
Don’t want the Peke or the Dal.
10:32 pm on February 14th, 2012
I am not watching the dog show, but am sure enjoying the comments on the blog…more fun than watching.
Congratulations to the Dobie!
Rio, Mom is glad the announcer mentioned that we can’t be trusted off a leash, because we can’t.
Hope you feel better tomorrow, Staff. I think you will but, no, you don’t need to go tho the busy place.
10:34 pm on February 14th, 2012
Peke!…If any guy Except the Peke wins, I will be happy…snort!…The Wire Dachhound would be a surprisingly new breed to win!…Woooo
10:42 pm on February 14th, 2012
The Dobie is gorgeous!
10:44 pm on February 14th, 2012
Outfit!….I can’t take my eyes off that wild outfit the Judge is wearing….heh!cough!choke!…And she is from Colorado for Pete’s sake…grunt!… Not everyone from here dresses like that.
10:49 pm on February 14th, 2012
The Peke looks like one of the ZhuZhu pets that kids have. That is not a dog!
(and the judge’s skirt is just awful!)
10:55 pm on February 14th, 2012
GAH!…spit!
10:55 pm on February 14th, 2012
And the winner is….
The Peke!
Nooooooo
Well what could expect from someone who would dress like that?
sigh
11:00 pm on February 14th, 2012
At least the Peke sweeps up his own hair. And I am pretty sure that is just a pug in a fur coat.
11:02 pm on February 14th, 2012
I can’t agree with the choice. Sigh.
11:05 pm on February 14th, 2012
Macy – maybe that Peke is Rio’s Cousin It.
11:07 pm on February 14th, 2012
Hee,hee, cousin It. And sure Gilly try to herd that “sheep”. Ok show’s over, move along people, nothing to see here. Especially not Randy Travis getting arrested for public intoxication.
11:10 pm on February 14th, 2012
Oh dear – another celebrity gone bad.
Well, goodnight all. Long day today, fun day with Melanie tomorrow.
And Bee – that Dobie was BIS in our book.
11:13 pm on February 14th, 2012
Well, we never thought the Peke would get it. Our guess: Doberman, Irish Setter, Kerry Blue in that order. We also do not like the way GSDs are bred. The way they move spells HIP DYSPLASIA! An even top line is much better for their joints, but we Americans like that slope. Evidently, we like dogs that served no purpose other than to live inside Chinese royalty’s sleeves. Gaaahh! What a bummer.
Now we need to go to bed. Night all.
11:13 pm on February 14th, 2012
I don’t agree with the choice either. I didn’t watch it, but I don’t agree.
Randy Travis lived for a long time in NM, but he must have moved away and fallen off the wagon.
Night All
11:14 pm on February 14th, 2012
Thanks T&G. I agree.
11:17 pm on February 14th, 2012
Forgot to tell Staff that we hope she feels better tomorrow.
And Melanie and Amalia, have fun tomorrow after the smashing event. Barb wishes she could blur over and have lunch with you two!
11:28 pm on February 14th, 2012
Well, that was a MAJOR disappointment!! Not only was the Peke ugly, he was totally out of breath just “barely walking” to his place in the ring. So not is such good condition. He needed to go on some of Rio’s brutal walks.
Have to say that not a single group had our favorites as a winner. We did like the Dobie and the Irish Setter and thought both looked great in the Best of Show ring. It’s a shame how they have developed the GSD with the sloped back. That poor guy had the most disjointed pace.
Our favorite groups are the hounds and the working dogs. LOVED the Basset hound and thought some of the sight hounds were great. But why, in the working group, do they keep picking the Rotts to be in the final cuts? Thought the Great Dane was awesome and the Siber in the group was really a good looking one.
AJ, we have enjoyed getting involved in yours and Rebecca’s life. (Actually, we kind of invaded it, didn’t we?) Because of your obvious love for your dogs, you and Rebecca got swept into this group without the chance of staying away. We are all very excited to be a small part of the last Great Race and hope to be a part of it as long as you keep the sled going.
Maggie, at least they didn’t cash your Mom’s check until they got all the right info.
Melanie, so glad everything went well on the home visit. When do you think Dan will be home to stay? It looks like he’ll make the wedding!! Please tell him that Mom is half way through White Wings and thinks it is great!! Yes, we can definitely see it as a Hallmark movie or a mini series. Wonder how one goes about getting that process started.
Happy V-day to all!!

I truly do believe all of the ideas you’ve got introduced within your submit. They are really persuasive and can absolutely do the job. However, the posts are very brief education. Could you remember to lengthen these folks a little coming from future occasion? Basically article.
