Leaf Peepers
Turns out they’re humans who come to see the leaves changing color in Vermont. Vermont! What a place. Never seen more green, so maybe the leaves still had a way to go. I swam in a big river. And Brattleboro – Bernie loved it. Spence and Admin gave one of their talks. Did it make any sense? Not to me.
And the people in Brattleboro? They like me and my kind, no doubt about it. Hope we get back someday.

I'm glad you enjoyed Vermont. Michigan is still mainly green also (which is why I prefer it to the desert….sorry). Glad to have you back Chet.

I've visited almost every state but still have yet to see the New England ones…someday, I hope. It is snowing up here in Alaska. Took my dogs for a 2-hour hike but kept encountering hunters –it is moose season. Moose must by now have some genetic memory about hunting season as I usually see moose on our walks but haven't seen any in three weeks. I think they are laying low.

Spent some time with the neighbor dogs last night. Black lab Smokey was thrilled to see me (altho he always forgets who I am when he is in his backyard!) Golden retriever, Nickey, was very jealous when I paid attention to Mia, the visiting pug. So nice to have dogs for neighbors. All pleasure and no cleanup!
