Gooood morning, everyone! Buddy, great that you found the audio book. Now you and Leno can read TSATF in the evening, together. Hope OFA dries out before continuing on the next leg of the tour.
Hope everyone has a Fearless Friday (the 13th).
10:07 am on September 13th, 2013
Poor Rio. Sob.
10:08 am on September 13th, 2013
“Tattered Cover” is an interesting name.
Good morning all.
10:29 am on September 13th, 2013
Greetings!
Spence looks like he made to Denver okay. Lo siento, Rio.
Orion of Snowhook up top!

10:52 am on September 13th, 2013
Good foggy morning to you all.
The air is redolent with the salty ocean breeze. Voices carry although their sources remain hidden, making it easy to imagine ghostly souls upon the beach. is the sound of the surf swooshing into shore but the waves remain invisible through the blanket of swirling white mist.
Oh, we do love the beach.
11:08 am on September 13th, 2013
Royal Mum, Your description is lovely.
11:25 am on September 13th, 2013
Good morning! Yes! Melanie (my wife), Leno, and I will spend the weekend enjoying Furry. Fiona will maybe sit in for part of it, unless of course Alena takes her out for a game of basketball…well, sort of basketball. Never mind that the ball is about half as big as Fiona is, it’s the best game on earth. Wish I could get video of her catching the basketball on her nose. Gonna see if I can get one of Fiona and Leno together for the friends of Chet. Which should be an interesting proposition, since Fiona doesn’t sit still long. Still, this will be fantastic weather this weekend for vegin’ in the recliner with a labradabrador.
11:38 am on September 13th, 2013
Hurrah! Spence made it! (And so did a FAN!)
Buddy and Leno, Congratulations on finding the audio!
Busy here today. Will pop in and out as I can.
Franklin wants Darah to know that he is an older Gentleman. But he is a gentle dog and would love to have a girlfriend.
11:40 am on September 13th, 2013
Buddy and Leno, We are so happy for you that you found the audio version of The Sound and the Fury.
It is still raining. The record rainfall in New Mexico is causing problems, but nothing like the big, serious problems in Colorado. I’m guessing Spence knows how to swim.
When (?) it stops raining, mom will check the rain guage.
We didn’t go to the dog park this morning. I am stuck in the house. GAH
Tenzing, Glad you got to go with AJ to pick up the dogs. I’m sure they had a good time on the glacier, but they will be glad to get home.
11:57 am on September 13th, 2013
OMD It stopped raining for a few minutes so mom checked the rain guage. We have gotten a total of three and one half inches of rain this week, so far.
I am well within my rights to be a depressed Siber.
12:03 pm on September 13th, 2013
I am not a depressed Siber. Momma and I received our Iditarod package just now!!!! It includes a little stuffed Iditarod husky in harness, which Momma said I could pretend is my boyfriend “RJ”.
Living the Life here !
1:02 pm on September 13th, 2013
Well, in an hour or so, I gots to take Leno to the vet for one more blood test. He had a seizure about 2 weeks ago…scary stuff…but to make a long story interesting, they couldn’t figure what the mtter was. The good news about that is that his kidneys are OK, but they had some concerning things in his blood test they want to chck again. Since the previous seizure was like 2 years ago (I thought his leg just fell asleep or something, couldn’t have been that this last time), here’s hoping it’s just some weird thing that won’t happen at some really bad time, like in the middle of a busy street. Probably won’t. This is one wonderful dog.
Glad everyone’s doing OK and people who are getting wet are inside staying dry.
Livin’ the dream š

CHarris: I just received the Northern Lights necklace. It’s beautiful…and comfortable! Also, thank you for the pin.
1:19 pm on September 13th, 2013
I’m baking cranberry orange nut bread. (I use dried cranberries rather than fresh.) It smells good.
1:25 pm on September 13th, 2013
Buddy, Please let us know what the vet says. When mom adopted me from Husky Rescue, I had seizures, but I don’t have them anymore.
1:29 pm on September 13th, 2013
Our mom is soooo mean! She hid the ipaw when she and the Daddy Dawg went to Walmart to finish outfitting the “Doghouse”. We showed them though, hee, hee. A little tug of war with mom’s fuzzy throw, burrowing in the bed pillows and Darah went swimming in the fish pond and dripped all over!
Frank: Thank you for answering me š I’m hoping we can become paw pals, OK?
-Darah
1:45 pm on September 13th, 2013
Buddy and Leno, Best wishes on the V E T visit. I hope all is well.
Worked on the pool pump and filter. Took a long (for me) walk. Headed to the heating pad for awhile. The front still hasn’t come completely through. Snigglefritzing Carpola!
Darah, I will let Frank know as soon as he comes in from protecting us from cyclists.
2:18 pm on September 13th, 2013
Busy here too. Jack is visiting till 4:00 and between him and LuLu, Barb is not sitting still for long. LuLu went in her crate last night and didn’t make a peep till 4:30. We went outside, then she came back in and jumped up on Barb’s bed. The little upstart thought she would sleep there for the rest of the night. So sad for her, she had to go back into the crate and then slept till 7:00. She is being a good girl, no accidentss in the house and she hasn’t jumped on Jack either. She does like to raid the toy basket and carry things in to the living room rug. She currently has 4 bones, a flip flop and a dog brush piled up.
2:24 pm on September 13th, 2013
Maggie: Thank Dog she only moves them and piles them up. She could (gah) chew them up š
2:25 pm on September 13th, 2013
Oh, and the neighborhood is now safe from BROWN. He thought he’d sneak in 2 houses away, but we heard him and let him know!
3:01 pm on September 13th, 2013
Who is BROWN?
Buddy, Hope Leno’s test is good.
Dima must get a blood test tomorrow. Last time he was at our regular v-e-t for a blood test, his blood pressure was so low they couldn’t get blood! They kept poking him. But that was pre-surgery and so it should be better now.
Hobbit! We got another package from you you you! It is our coffee cuff and earrings. Only thing is that these are not the same earrings as pictured with the coffee cuff. We think someone is missing their Beaded Husky Earrings with PawPrint Design.
3:35 pm on September 13th, 2013
OH: It is the UPS truck and guy. Grrrrrrr!
3:44 pm on September 13th, 2013
Alaska Airlines / Horizon #2341 arrived at Seattle-Tacoma Intl (KSEA) at 07:05AM PDT from KMSO (Missoula Intl)
Whooo arrived? The Awesome One that’s who! We are twirling, twirling, twirling!!!
Our very first passport stamp! How kool is that?
3:46 pm on September 13th, 2013
Barb — In this household we refer to those items as “trophies”. Teddy has quite a collection, with a real penchant for anything cardboard as well as quilting materials.
4:06 pm on September 13th, 2013
Howlers: O Phooey! I tried to be so careful when laying everything out on the dining room table. I’ll wait until I hear from the other party and then figure it out via SDD. Apologies. Unless somehow the TMGs are involved and I can blame them????
4:16 pm on September 13th, 2013
C.Hobbit: You can ALWAYS blame the TMGs
4:23 pm on September 13th, 2013
C.Hobbit: Just to let you know…Order received with NO TMG interference…Thank Dog!
4:24 pm on September 13th, 2013
Howlers: I do have your correct husky earrings. I haven’t yet been notified who won the Siber earrings. I guess I always associate sibers with youse which is why you got them. I will be sending you the right earrings (looking for packaging) and as soon as I know who gets the Siber ones, I will send you that information. GAH!
4:41 pm on September 13th, 2013
HRH B: Mom was really chuckling after she read your comment the other day about not reading J.R.R. Tolkien. It was such a rage when she was in high school and everyone passed notes in Tenguar. Now she can’t read her h.s. yearbook because so many of the comments are in Tenguar, too. She only remembers something about putting the vowel over the following consonant.
5:01 pm on September 13th, 2013
HOH: I don’t know what “Tenguar” is.
5:42 pm on September 13th, 2013
I have tried at various times in my life to read JRR Tolkien without success. I ought to give The Hobbit a try again (maybe see the movie first? LOL)
5:44 pm on September 13th, 2013
HRH B: That is the language in Middle Earth, along with elvish.
5:46 pm on September 13th, 2013
Mom is not a fan of Tolkien. It was just was nerdy adolescents did in So. Cal. in the 60″s. I still find him difficult to slog through š
5:50 pm on September 13th, 2013
Hobbit, Not to worry. We just wanted to let whomever ordered these cool earrings know that we got them by mistake. The ones that were pictured with the coffee cuff, which is very nice by the way, are the Siberian Huskies, we think
Mom and Pop both love The Hobbit, the book and the movie, and the person. They also like LOTR movie, but Mom never could make it thru all 3 books. They are scary.
5:51 pm on September 13th, 2013
The hats came last night but didn’t have evidence till now. The 2 leggers love them. We of the nation within would like to eat them. Those with feathers quiver in fear. Sushi has not voiced an opinion.

5:56 pm on September 13th, 2013
Hats look great on their new models! Great photo
6:03 pm on September 13th, 2013
HOH: Love the hats! (and the wearers of the hats).
6:08 pm on September 13th, 2013
Wonderful Hats! (Great models)
For those of you who find Tolkien difficult to get through, just do what I did and read every other word. Something that Riƶ tells me I still do . . pondering . .
Dinner was simple. Cheesy Rice and Peas with three different cheeses. Yum.
I am now reading the new Jack Reacher . . who is WAY over SIX FEET TALL.
Just saying. Next is Sue Grafton’s new book. She is now up to “W”.
6:09 pm on September 13th, 2013
2 happy Plunderers at their destination.

6:11 pm on September 13th, 2013
Melanie: Funny you should mention Sue Grafton. We have been pondering…What will be the Next Title After Z?
6:26 pm on September 13th, 2013
Was looking at “W” is for Wasted but didn’t buy it…library I think. Mom feels Grafton is slowing down a little; maybe she’s wrong. Mmmm, Plunderers with jackets. They’re not in the sunbelt! (We deduced that.) And speaking of jackets, only 78*F in the screen room today, going down to mid 50’s tonight and low 70’s tomorrow. Can Autumn be far behind?
6:40 pm on September 13th, 2013
HOH: Actually not that bad. Everyone else was in shorts. But, having just gone through fog and early morning drizzle, they had yet to remove their jackets. The sun did peek through…eventually.
6:44 pm on September 13th, 2013

6:59 pm on September 13th, 2013
Rio and Beau, Wear life vests at all times!
Masquers and BSD’s mom and Dawson! That is so very cool. Poor Mom…when she was in Seattle, BSD and Masquers were not. Sniff.
7:01 pm on September 13th, 2013
Rio! How quickly yoy forget! My momma and I met Aunt MPM, Melanie, Golinka, Bella, the entire Newf Pack, The Royals, and the Herb Cats all at once!!!!
7:02 pm on September 13th, 2013
Good news, all of Leno’s bloodworm came back normal normal normal. So we don’t know what happened when he was thrashing around on the floor a couple weeks ago, but we’ll take it. Normal is good. We celebrate with Dairy Queen.
Also, I read The Hobbit, but LOTR is so long! I haven’t attempted it yet, but did enjoy the BBC dramatization.
Now what’s all this about Elvish? Is that like Elvish Preshley or what?
Yes, I’m kidding.
7:03 pm on September 13th, 2013
Rio: how do you remember all this stuff? You must have a brain like a steel trap or are in cahoots with Natasha to keep track of everyone.
7:04 pm on September 13th, 2013
Kat!…Yes, that happened. But there was so little reported about the whole experience from any of youse that I totally forgot about it…grunt!
7:09 pm on September 13th, 2013
My mom and I were walking through the forest minding our own business when a curious scent caught my attention. I wandered from the trail and found…wait for it….a KAT! I heard mom mutter, “Please God don’t let me find an abandoned cat with kittens.” The KAT and I looked at each other and mom called me back to the trail. When we returned, the KAT was gone even though I could still smell it.
c.hobbit: we were miles from any house. While Sadie & I continued our walk, I had decided that if the cat was still around when we returned, I would try and track her down and carry her to the car and then to the vet. I once fed an abandoned house cat in the woods for two winters—I am really hoping it wasn’t a dumped cat.
7:20 pm on September 13th, 2013
Flooding!…The county I live in is being flooded…gah!….We here are hoping we are far enough away and high enough away from the Poudre River to be safe tonight…sniff!…Everyone is so tired from the long trip this is too much to comprehend and plan for…wuffle!…I will keep you posted.
7:35 pm on September 13th, 2013
Welcome Home Rio and Beau!! We missed you.
Is it still raining there? It has stopped here for now.
Buddy and Leno, Great news from the vet!
7:42 pm on September 13th, 2013
We are wooing and hooing for Masquer’s Mom and Awesome Dawson. So very happy for you getting to meet.
Rio – glad you and all your family are reunited. But please keep in touch while these flood waters are raging. Do Pugs float?
It stayed misty and rainy here today with amazing cloud formations – giant black funnel like shapes and sheets of darkness being dragged in from the horizon. The Corgis were fascinated – as long as there wasn’t any thunder and lightening.
Have a grand evening where ever you are tonight. Good night from the beach.
7:54 pm on September 13th, 2013
RIO! You are back!!! I was so worried about youse guys! I hope you are safe from all those floods!
7:57 pm on September 13th, 2013
How cool is that? Masquers mom and Awesome Dawson! We want lots of pictures! Would love pictures of my dear friend Masquers, and don’t forget Bear!
8:01 pm on September 13th, 2013
T&G: Tell Mama to look on Chet’s Facebookie page. He has a foto of 2 pugs in a pool at the Chattanooga Doggie Paddle (this is within the last week). Although they were not floating, they were in a pool.
Buddy & Leno: Thank Dog! You’ve been in our puppy pawrayres all day.
Masquers & Dawson: Glad ya’ll got some sun today.
Rio & Beau: Stay high and dry.
OFA: Rest up before the whirlwind begins again…see you next week š
8:06 pm on September 13th, 2013
Kat, I think I have met almost as many Plunderers as you! Let’s see……I have met the Royal Mum and the Storyteller. That was so exciting! I met the Giant and the Pixie, and all the Snowhook dogs, including my VBFF Belle Starr, mama Luna, and Rio, Jr. That was an unforgettable moment. We also met Mick and Jodie (the people).
AND, Grizz and I will be meeting 3 Plunderers in about two weeks. I’ll have my first passport stamps. Unless my very special friend wants to let you know who they are, I will keep youse in suspense!
8:12 pm on September 13th, 2013
Buddy and Leno: That is good news.
8:17 pm on September 13th, 2013
Wose: A Mysterious Meeting with 3 Plunderers? How Exciting!
We will “patiently” wait to hear more……
Buddy&Leno: Very Good News about the tests! Thank Dog.
Nappy time here – Bear
8:21 pm on September 13th, 2013
Also Golinka and the Storyteller met Siber-H and his mom.
8:39 pm on September 13th, 2013
We forgot to mention…today is/was Friday the 13th.
The ancient Greeks had a special word for fear of the number 13…ātriskaidekaphobia.ā Fear of the Friday the 13th has its own related term āfriggatriskaidekaphobiaā.
The was an infamous hotel in the Windy City (since torn down) which didn’t have a 13th floor. Built in the days of mob rule in Chicago, the doors were unusually thick to prevent bullets passing through them.
8:39 pm on September 13th, 2013
Not counting family, I’ve got my first Plunderer’s stamp in my passport! Whoooohoooo! BearSpiritDog’s and Masquer’s mom picked me up from the airport in Seattle and drove me all the way to my son’s house in Bellingham. Thank you Barb. It was wonderful to meet you. You are every bit as kind as I thought you would be. And, she brought a copy of The Sound and the Furry that I can start reading tonight. It doesn’t get any better than this.
HOH: Daddy Dawg looks real good in that Canuck hat and Sharon is very smart in the owl hat. Both wonderful auction items.
I was glad it wasn’t real hot this morning because my jackets would not fit in the suitcases. That’s the main reason I was wearing a jacket (or two).
Rio and Beau: Thank dog you are home and pictures would be great.
Now I will try to catch up a little on the blog. I do have an almost 4 year old wanting to play hide and seek.
8:39 pm on September 13th, 2013
Great picutes of the hats and the Plunderers. We almost got to meet Dawson earlier this year, but couldn’t quite get it together. We like the house in the photo with Masquer’s mom and Dawson. Is that a bed and breakfast.
Long day, but all is going well. Be back tomorrow.
8:43 pm on September 13th, 2013
Sammie: You have an excellent memory. This may have been the very first Plunderer meet & greet.
T&G: Rain or shine the beach is a great place to be…and your mum’s descriptions of it make us want to be there even more.
8:46 pm on September 13th, 2013
Bear, I am so very excited to have this meeting! I don’t think I can wait 2 weeks.
9:11 pm on September 13th, 2013
Barb & Maggie: That is the house my son & family rent.
Buddy & Leno: Hooray for “normal”.
T&G: Love your description of the seaside. We took a walk and set a crab pot. Maybe we will have some for dinner tomorrow.
9:11 pm on September 13th, 2013
Water!….Beau and I are Water-Watch, but so far there is none approaching my house…sniff!sniff!…I can smell it though…grunt!
Dawson!…Meeting and Greeting! Rose, meeting and greeting 3 surprise plunderers….wow!wow!…I can guess who they are, but I will not say anything right now….heh!heh!
9:17 pm on September 13th, 2013
Mom says there is a good reason Dawson is called the Awesome One. Meeting her was like reuniting with an old friend…very relaxed and comfortable…they blabbed away all the way to Bellingham.
Isn’t that an incredible looking house that Dawson’s family lives in?
Yes, everyone loves the beach…everyone except for a certain Mr. Husky.
Siber! Isn’t maƱana the day you get to meet OFA? May the roads be dry for you.
9:19 pm on September 13th, 2013
A steel trap? We think mom has a mind like a steel trap…rusted shut š Know it isn’t late but thinking about nighty night.
Frank: Mom says it is ok for me to have you as my paw pal, but don’t get any ideas as she says I cannot have a boyfriend until I am a year old.
-Darah
9:21 pm on September 13th, 2013
And friend Riƶ, you too, stay high and dry.
Have you had a chance to watch the latest episode of Breaking Bad? Yikes! Couch cushion biting time!
9:29 pm on September 13th, 2013
SIBERH!…Tomorrow is indeed the big day to meet Spencer and maybe the Charming Mr. Abrahams too…heh!….WOOOOO! I am so very happy for his Maw and maybe it will be cool enough for him to go too!…snort!…I’ve been trying to think of a good question for his maw to ask Spencer…sniff!…There are too many distractions around here and I have not been able to come up with anything really good yet…wuffle!grunt!
Dawson!…My friend says to tell youse she got “it” and thanks so much….snorkel!…And thanks to Staff for her part in it too…heh!…Well done Staffie!
9:35 pm on September 13th, 2013
Maskers!…We are all caught up on Breaking Bad and everyone had a couch cushion in their mouths at the end there….wheeze!…Un-Be-lievable!….snort!…How does anyone survive that?….gasp!
Blu-Kat!….Got your letter and someone saw the word ‘Spoilers’ so we put it away to read after the show is over…snort!…Someone says “Thank You!!!” for thinking of us and sending it…heh!
9:36 pm on September 13th, 2013
I can’t believe I typed “bloodworm”. Clearly I meant “bloodwork”. Damn you autocorrect!
9:38 pm on September 13th, 2013
Strangers!…Who the hell is Buddy and Leno?…grunt!…What happened around here while I was gone…wheeze!
9:41 pm on September 13th, 2013
Buddy&Leno: What does that word even mean? only auto-correct knows.
9:57 pm on September 13th, 2013
Buddy and Leno, We are all experienced at figuring out what these mixed up words actually are. They can get downright funny sometimes.
Masquers, Yes, tomorrow is the day.
Rio, Think up a question.
10:01 pm on September 13th, 2013
SiberH!…Check your SDD…heh!heh!
10:07 pm on September 13th, 2013

SiberH!…Ok.
10:11 pm on September 13th, 2013
SiberH!…Are you sure it is “Ok”?…sniff!
10:17 pm on September 13th, 2013
Rio, I replied…check your SDD
10:23 pm on September 13th, 2013
Home! Like Rio, his Friend and Beau I am finally home. Wheeze! I stopped at the grocery home on the way home. I was exhausted and wanted to get done quickly. As I was walking past the deli I saw a tall guy with long hair and a red beard. Could that be the Giant by the cheese? He stared at me. I stared at him. I pushed my cart out of the way, he dropped his shopping basket and then I ran to him. We hugged and kissed right there by the sharp cheddar and pepper jack. He arrived home early this morning from collecting the rest of the dogs who have been working their summer jobs.
Dawson and Nana are such pretty Plunderers!
10:27 pm on September 13th, 2013
Phobia!…. Just now during the Rockies game they were talking about the fear of Friday the 13th ā¦.sniff!…. Baseball players are notorious about being superstitious. The score is 2 ta nothing over the Snakes..heh!heh!…But it is early in the game…grunt!
10:30 pm on September 13th, 2013
Giants!…Hugging and Kissing in front of the Deli!…Woooooo!…I bet that was a sight for sore eyes…snort!…Or anyone’s eyes for that matter…heh!heh!…Wow, we all got home on the same night it seems…Zow!Pow!sneeze!
10:34 pm on September 13th, 2013
Beau!…In Iowa!…grunt!
10:39 pm on September 13th, 2013
Do pugs float? Only the gassy ones.
Rio: Luna says she is waiting in the water wings to blur by to get you and Beau and take you to safety. She’ll get your Friend and her maw, too as long as they obey her rules—-go to the bathroom beforepaw, bring snacks and keep the wiggling to a minimum.
10:50 pm on September 13th, 2013
Float!….Those guys picked me up on the way Home…heh!…Two pugs in the car while it was raining outside for just a short time was too much for everyone…sniff!sniff!…My friend says she is never doing that trip again…grunt!…Not even with No pugs in the car…heh!
10:54 pm on September 13th, 2013
If she won’t do that trip again, maybe her next trip will be north to Alaska.
10:56 pm on September 13th, 2013
The Giant & Pixie reunited in the deli by the cheeses!
Beau looks very handsome standing next to the field of yellow.
Mom says…late to bed, early to rise makes a (wo)man healthy, wealthy and… bone tired.
Saying goodnight now.
10:57 pm on September 13th, 2013
Tripping!…I’m pretty damned sure it will be anywhere but Iowa…grunt!wheeze!
10:59 pm on September 13th, 2013
Maskers!…You are a good friend for taking care of that Dawson today!…snorkel!…Your maw is very tall or Dawson is very short…heh!heh!
11:06 pm on September 13th, 2013

Night All

Nighty noodle from here also.
I was trying to make one easy little quilt block. I got down to the last seam, a mere 14 inches and had to rip it out twice! Finally I got in in correctly and then had to tweak it a bit in the middle to make the inner seams line up. Got that done and took it upstairs to iron and trim.
I trimmed it to 12″.
Sigh.
I was supposed to trim it to 12-1/2 inches.
I quit sewing then. I should have quit after the first erroneous seam.
At least I caught up with the blog and saw Dawson and Barb B and learned that Rio and Beau and Snowbella and AJ are home and that Leno’s blood work is normal. And I suppose some other things that I have already forgotten.
See youse guys tomorrow.

Rio! Who is Buddy and Leno? We ask ourselves that all the time. Or I do, I’m pretty sure Leno knows exactly who he is. Well, if I wee to include all the critters (not necessarily all the humans, those are Buddy, Melanie, and Alena), but anyway, we’ve got Leno, Fiona, Phoebe, and Jasper.
Phoebe and Jasper are cats. Phoebe is a long haired dilute calico, friendliest cat on the planet; she adopted us the year we adopted Alena, which would have been 2004. Jasper’s a tuxedo cat who came from a friend of ours. You’d never know he was a feral and very outside cat, he’s shy, though friendly, with a squeaky meow and a loud, loud purr, and seems to have no desire to go back outside. We got Fiona, a cairn terrier, as a puppy from a breeder a couple hours from here, because, when Alena was in the hospital after getting an infection after she had her partial hemispherectomy in 2007 (yes, brain surgery), she asked if she could have a small dog when she got home. Yes sweetheart, whatever you want, you can have. But we had to find a breed she wouldn’t break by accident. Well, Fiona is Alena’s doggie twin in personality. It really is uncanny And Leno? Leno’s a Seeing Eye⢠dog. I got him in 2010, the week that Melanie got home from having a double heart valve replacement…well, two of them, actually, yes, it was a difficult summer. He’s a super mellow dog. His puppy raisers said, when asked to describe him in one word, “nonchalant”, which about sums it up. Very like my first guide dog, Karl, and very unlike my second one, Chet, (a Seeing Eye⢠dog), who is of course the reason I got the Dog On It in the first place, absolutely nothing bothers him. Not noise, not traffic, not getting poked and prodded by the vet, nothing. As are most service dogs, Leno is very friendly, but he’s also very definitely my dog. Or I’m his human. Something like that.
Since that’s the short version and it’s already long, I’ll shut up now. But that’s all of us. We have what you might call an interesting family. Or an unusual family. Or maybe not… Interesting doings here, but will save those for another post.
It’s really nice getting to know all of y’all, anyway. I just have to figure out which people are humans and which people are from the nation. But before I do that, I’m gonna read some more of this fine new book I’ve got here on my iPhone.
Now aren’t you sorry you asked? Anyway, glad you’re surviving the flood. BTW, I love Colorado. I just haven’t been there in ages.

Sigh . . Love amidst the cheese. Even Zombies can sniff a bit at that.
Why a Zombie night? Snigglefritz if I know. I am now having a cup of warm milk to see if that helps me sleep.
Staff, I know of which you speak. Sometimes it is best to Plunder On on another day.
Whilst, wandering about on the internet I found the following photo. I thought it perfect for Chet’s Blog’s Internet Book Club.

I’m back! Last time I was at the vampire’s, they had a LOT of trouble getting blood to come out of me because I was anaemic, according to them. This time, Zowey! They popped their needle in me, and out flowed oodles of blood!
Afterwards, Mom and I visited my best guy friend, Drew. Now we are all home relaxing. Mom has multiple layers of warm clothes on, because she thinks it is cold. Me? I think it is just right.

The weather here is very fall-like today. Yippee!
Lovely pictures of Awesome and Nana, Sharon and Papa Dog with their auction swag, Beau in a sea of sunflowers (a lifting his leg). : ) . Perhaps I am a softie, but the Giant and the Pixie reuniting made my vision blur. sniff
Good Saturday to all!
