Last Night

So much fun to be launching It’s A Wonderful Woof in front of live people last night at An Unlikely Story. Thanks to everyone who came and to the friendly staff at this terrific store.

This morning the photo below showed up with the caption “Christmas shopping … DONE!”

    *sigh*

Unfortunately my family doesn’t read. My best friend in Minnesota is a cat person although she also likes dogs. She is a retired English teacher and reads. I’m considering giving her the set of three Arthur and Queenie books. I think she’d enjoy them.

But my parents, siblings and niece and nephews don’t read that I know of. I tried giving my nephew a really good dog book (Avi’s The Good Dog) when he was in middle school and was insulted with “it was below his reading level”. So I sent him Foucault’s Pendulum and have never sent him another book. My Father only reads the newspaper and my Mother used to read historical novels, especially Civil War but “doesn’t have time” any more.

Landed in my Kindle right on time. 🙂 Today I finish my current book, and then it’s all about Chet & Bernie. So looking forward to It’s A Wonderful Woof.

Squirrle!…Suddenly we have a unique white-tailed fox squirrel showing up in my yard eating and drinking….snort!snort!…Very rare apparently. I have not had a good look at him yet but Mother has seen him 3 or 4 times….yeeeep!
