Joy In The Anticipation
“‘Heard melodies are sweet, but those unheard are sweeter,'” Spence says. “That’s what I think about Christmas Eve.”
“I just want my presents,” says Admin.

Happy Christmas Eve, Chet, Spence, Admin, and Fellow Plunderers.
All of the greeting cards posted last night were very nice.
Three of us went to the dog park yesterday. Sasha stayed home to catch up on her beauty sleep. Those of us who went to the park had a wonderful time. There were tons of doggies there, including 4 other huskies. When we came home, Mom and Pop had to rush off to holiday parties, sans huskies.
Today, we are resting up for the Big Day, although the rents have yet another party to attend tonight. We don’t know why they have so many friends and family who host non-doggie parties. It doesn’t seem fair. Oh well we will play in our private doggie park when they leave us.

Good morning Oleys and Merry Christmas Eve to all.
Barb is having some coffee, catching up on the blog and watching the news. They are explaining how to buy last minute gifts at the grocery store of gas station on your way to the party. Wow! That is really last minute!
We just have to sort the gifts and put a few bows on and then we are done. Barb bought me some extra chicken chews to make up for leaving me home this afternoon. She and Josh’s crew are heading to Kelly’s at 2:00, exchanging gifts and then all are caravaning on to another big party at 4:00. Barb is taking the piece she got from Rio’s friend this summer to give to the hosts of the big party.

Happy Christmas Eve Day!
The cards, sentiments, and pictures posted last night were beautiful, and brought tears to my eyes.
Melanie, glad your guys are with you and Zoe. Please keep us updated.
Wolfie, lo siento. I miss my mom and dad lots at this time. Just remember you are well-loved at this here blog.
Staff: Keep us updated on Maggie.
RIO! Talk about coincidences.

There is nothing romantic about Admin.
Good morning all.
10:25 am on December 24th, 2012
Our big day tomorrow will have a 2:1 ratio of 2-leggeds to 4-leggeds. That is optimal for scritches and scratches and belly rub, oh my.
We have a chance of SNOW tomorrow. Not much, and later in the day, but still! It is enough to get everybody all atwitter. Except me, I don’t tweet.
10:39 am on December 24th, 2012
I had my egg this morning – soft boiled and on top of my kibble. My kibble almost tasted good. Molly’s Mom thinks she’s tricking me so I just play along.
Molly’s Mom is all better today so guess what she’s going to do. Meet a friend for lunch. She says she will eat a salad. Then she still has some shopping to do since the Swedish fish episode set her back and time has run out.

Sammie, I am glad that you are taking good care of Molly’s Mom. That is what good Smoochers do!
11:51 am on December 24th, 2012
Bear and Masquers, safe travels my dear friends.
11:53 am on December 24th, 2012
I agree with Chet about poking at the packages. What could it hurt? Barb put a bunch of presents under the tree, but there was only one that I wanted to play with. Not sure why, because there not anything that smelled good inside. Barb had to put it up, because I kept trying to chew up the wrapping.
Barb watched J Edgar last night. Leo DiCaprio did a good job with the part. J.Edgar was a strange, intense man. It was not a jolly Christmas movie.
11:55 am on December 24th, 2012
We are supposed to get snow tonight, so it will be a White Christmas! We’ll believe it when we see it.
Macy, where is that display?
11:57 am on December 24th, 2012
Bye, Bear and Masquers. Have a good time.
11:59 am on December 24th, 2012
There are no pretty wrapped presents under our tree. š mom has them hidden away. She says it has something to do with me, but I do not know why.
12:03 pm on December 24th, 2012
Have a fun and safe trip BSD and Masquers.
12:05 pm on December 24th, 2012
Macy, I like the Texas Christma lights. As the Howlers asked…where is it?
Rose, Thanks you for the Christmas video.
I’m with Admin. and Rio….bring on the presents and food.
12:22 pm on December 24th, 2012
Macy always finds the best pictures!
Rio commented last night about Ann Hathaway in Les Miz. Not only did she cut her hair but she lost 25 lbs. for the movie. She was thin to begin with, but she wanted to look like she was dying. Evidently she lost 10 before filming and then 15 more in just a matter of a few days. She was eating a little oatmeal square and that is it. Hugh Jackman also lost a lot of weight for the film. Do you think this is a good idea for the sake of realism?
Barb is not a germaphobe by any stretch, but when she sees the previews for that movie she wants to drench herself with Purell.
12:46 pm on December 24th, 2012
Siber-H: A Charlie Brown Christmas is my favorite Christmas film.
Kat: Why would your mom hide the presents? You are such a good girl!
Maggie: You are a good girl too…why hide presents ?
12:50 pm on December 24th, 2012
Eve!…Hey, we just came back from our walk…brrrrr!…Baby its cold outside….snort!… A second cousin on her mom’s side is coming over for lunch today. Should be interesting….wheeze!…I was hoping to hear something from Melanie about Zoe by now, but I’m sure they are all busy chatting it up at the hospital…snicker!sneeze!
12:52 pm on December 24th, 2012
The display is around the corner from our house. Mom passes it on her way home from work.
12:54 pm on December 24th, 2012
And the house is a geodesic dome. There are three in the neighborhood.
12:55 pm on December 24th, 2012
Greetings dear plunderers from the middle of the mitten. We are warm and cozy in our little apartment and barking every now and then at the people that are moving in directly above us. We are thankful that we are not moving today, but snug as a pug in a rug.
Mom made pumpkin bread and blueberry muffins with a struedel on top to take with her to sissy’s house for tomorrow. All our gifts fit into a nice small box. Gift cards for everyone!
We are headed west to Grand Rapids in a few hours to spend the night and the day tomorrow with sissy and her family. I enjoy running around with my friends Obi Wan the pomeranian and Cubby Bear the weiner doggie. (Mom said she can’t figure out how to spell dachs…. so weiner doggie it is.) Mom would like to make a batch of snickerdoodles to take with us, but we are out of eggs so we’ve got what we’ve got she says. She’s even drinking her kawfee blech because we are also out of half and half, and that is a BIG sacrifice!
We have a few snow piles here left from Draco, but the roads are clear and dry so we expect a smooth drive.
Mom has finished a small lap quilt and has made up her mind (finally!) what project to begin next. She is taking a big Christmas quilt with us to Grand Rapids because she has to spend a lot of time sewing the binding. I’m going to spend a lot of time getting bellies and ear scritches from my nephews and BIL and then take a nice nap on a lap or two.
Hope your holiday is warm and cozy, safe and bright. Blessings to all.
Joyce and Jasper

1:06 pm on December 24th, 2012
Hey everyone. We just talked to Melanie. Seems that a Christmas tree has magically appeared in Zoe’s hospital room.
Hmmmm.
OTAS. And GLAD have left for home. YSAS is hanging out for the next few days. They might go to see Zoe later today, but Melanie is pretty exhausted right now. And the doctors just realized that Zoe has a broken wrist on the “uninjured” side, so now she has a cast. Hope it is done up with red and green ribbon
1:06 pm on December 24th, 2012
Jasper!…What happened to your ears!?…snort!
1:08 pm on December 24th, 2012
Tree!…Magically appeared!?…snort!…Any other details?…sniff!
1:08 pm on December 24th, 2012
Jasper, that is a very pretty quilt! I have gotten a lot of use from my Christmas quilt. I use it for my lap or shoulders when the Prof and I watch tv, since I am always cold.
Hope you and your mom have a joyous holiday, and safe travels!
1:10 pm on December 24th, 2012
Wrist!…How can they now just realize she has a broken wrist…grunt!…My confidence is dropping in those doctors…snarl!
1:22 pm on December 24th, 2012
Zoe called Melanie and was in tears.
The Plunderers have Successfully completed their latest mission. Christmas has been delivered!
1:23 pm on December 24th, 2012
8 days to figure that one out? It is starting to heal by now. Glad they didn’t have to rebreak it to set it!! Yikes!!!
1:28 pm on December 24th, 2012
Well done! I’m glad Zoe got the tree.
1:31 pm on December 24th, 2012
Hey Jazzy, Merry Christmas. Good job on supervising the quilt very pretty.
Dawson, what, you don’t have geodesic dome houses in your neighborhood, heh-heh.
Happy to hear that Christmas has been delivered to Zoe.
Does anyone watch the old Brit Com “The Good Neighbors”? Christmas Can come in a van, sometimes.
1:34 pm on December 24th, 2012
Yipppeeee!…If Zoe can’t go home for Christmas, Christmas will come to her…heh!heh!…Good job keeping quiet about it everyone! That was hard…sniffle!
1:34 pm on December 24th, 2012
Can’t wait to see some pictures of Zoe’s room!
Amalia, what did you say to the knucklehead who asked why you didn’t have a “real job”? Aren’t people strange? We agree with Oley’s mom, we like the four leggeds better.
1:34 pm on December 24th, 2012
Dang it, I always address answers to the wrong person. Rose, not Dawson.
We had a post disappear on us earlier so we will try again.
Dad set this up for the first time in YEARS. Mom was very happy.

1:46 pm on December 24th, 2012
We love Macy’s little village. Also, we are surprised that Texas-size Merry Christmas is right there in your neighborhood. How cool is that! We thought maybe that was some public display somewheres.
Three big CHEERS for Wolfie! Thanks for leading us on a good and noble cause.
1:47 pm on December 24th, 2012
I’m so glad Zoe got a little bit of Christmas today!
Macy, that is a nice Christmas village. And about those dome houses…..
2:03 pm on December 24th, 2012
Love the village Macy.
We have seen the dome houses in Illinois, but they are rare here.
Unusual that you have 3 close by.
Barb mentioned to her sister the other day that Wall Drug is talked about in the series she is reading by Richard Paul Evans. She said what is Wall Drug? We thought it was well known since it is a huge tourist attraction. Of course Barb’s sister didn’t know what corn tassels were either. We think she lives on another planet. Are you all familiar with Wall Drug?
2:12 pm on December 24th, 2012
Barb!…I have no idea what you are talking about and yes, I wish I lived on another planet…grunt!…That cousin should be here soon. But she is notoriously late for everything…heh!
2:17 pm on December 24th, 2012
I’ve never heard of Wall Drug…Walmart, yes….
2:24 pm on December 24th, 2012
I am so glad Zoe received her Christmas surprise by the way Wolfie’s thoughtful idea. I’m not so happy she got a broken wrist for Christmas. Coal would have been better.
2:25 pm on December 24th, 2012
We do not know Wall Drug.
2:33 pm on December 24th, 2012
Whew, I really am trying to keep my eyes open. They are going in and out of focus. Lordy, I’m tired.
I cried for the first two goodbye hugs with OTAS and GLAD, but by the third I had stopped crying. I miss them already.
Can’t make it down the hill. Way toooooooo tired. Unsafe driving. When I was talking to ZoĆ« on the phone, she said, “Oh, my goodness, there’s a lady here with a tree!”
When she opened the card, she was overwhelmed. She said, “Those friends of yours are something!”
That is when I explained that she WAS a PLUNDERER. She cried when it got plugged in and lit up.
I will be seeing it tomorrow.
2:35 pm on December 24th, 2012
Her wrist. They had it in a cast. Her hand turned purple. It is now out of a cast.
Riƶ, the doctors can only go by what she says hurts when it is coming to these small breaks. The narcotics . . well you don’t want to know what the narcotics did . . but they are all out of her system so she is very lucid.
2:36 pm on December 24th, 2012
I will take pictures! And I thank you all for your loving thoughts and wishes for Zoe.
zzzzzzzzzzzz
2:41 pm on December 24th, 2012
Wose: I am very worried about two things today: 1) the computer misplacing all of the Professor’s grades, and 2) my Two-legged says I may not get everything I want for Christmas. How can this be? I only asked for one thing. My Four-legged Mama got her own dog—moi— so I figured I should get a dog for my very own, too. I asked for a dog of manageable size like a Princess Sam dog or a Great Dane. I keep checking under the tree for boxes with holes poked in the top. Nada. I’m not giving up, yet. I am trying to figure out a good name. I’ve narrowed it down to (stealing a couple of pages from B’s book) Peace, Quiet, or Belle Starr Jr.
2:44 pm on December 24th, 2012
Melanie: Zoe IS a Plunderer, that’s for sure. Did she mention seeing a pug dressed as an elf when the tree was delivered?
2:50 pm on December 24th, 2012
OK, Maybe Aunt Sally is not so out of it! Wall Drug is in Wall SD, and has been around since 1930. You see bumper stickers everywhere with I ate at Wall Drug, Where in the Hell is Wall Drug, etc. It is ranked the #1 roadside attractiion in the US. It is not so much a drug store any more, as a shopping and restaurant mall. We have seen those bumper stickers around for at least 30-40 years. In SD they have signs similar to the Burma Shave signs(come on folks, I know you have heard of Burma Shave) plastered all over. I am just sure the Staff clan has heard of it.
2:53 pm on December 24th, 2012
Barb, Yes, Mom knows about Wall Drug. It is in either South or North Dakota, isn’t it? Mom was there several times when she was a kid. There are signs on the highway advertising it for miles and miles before you get there. The signs are probably no longer there.
Zoe is doing pretty darn good if she is getting by without any narcotics now.
We are glad she likes the tree.
3:04 pm on December 24th, 2012
Time for Barb to say bye for now and head down to Kelly’s. Gifts are all by the door and Josh will be here any second. Since Barb has a DD she will get to enjoy some wine and not worry about the drive home.
So glad Zoe got the tree and poinsettias. Hope we brightened up her day a little.
Merry Christmas Eve to all and to all a good night.
4:30 pm on December 24th, 2012
We have heard of Wall Drug, but only from the travel channel. Mom has not been to any Dakotas. In the south east there is Rock City. For hundreds of miles around it there are “See Rock City” signs. They are on the side of barns, on bird houses, rocks, anywhere you can imagine.
Corn tassels? As in the things that grow on corn, silky? If so, we have heard of them.
Hope the little tree makes Zoe’s room brighter. WTG Mary, et al.
STOP THE PRESSES!
We are supposed to get snow tomorrow ! Paws crossed. It is going to get down into the teens, so I will be wearing my Christmas coat. (pictures to follow)
4:33 pm on December 24th, 2012
It’s snowing here…big flakes.
4:44 pm on December 24th, 2012
As we share the holiday with each other, it becomes more special. I hope this holiday is an especially special one for all the plunderers and “friends of Chet.”
P.S. It is warm! -18! Walking around with my coat open, no hat, no gloves š A Christmas miracle in itself. Best.Gift.Ever
4:56 pm on December 24th, 2012
Macy, sob, sob, sob, You are getting snow and I am not.
I expect Stover to get snow, but, you, not so much.
4:59 pm on December 24th, 2012
SiberH, I will mail you some flakes. Put them in the freezer and they will be as goog as new. Oops I don’t have your address, sorry.
4:59 pm on December 24th, 2012
There is about one inch on the ground; the snow is coming down fast and the flakes are no longer large. (That usually signals a significent amount.)
5:04 pm on December 24th, 2012
Belle Starr: Don’t be worried about the Prof losing his grades. He managed to recreate all the grades through e-mails, and other bits and pieces. So, as of today, his school semester is officially over! Yippeeee!
Belle Starr, you are such a good girl, I think that Santa might leave that present under the tree while you are asleep. You are a Smoocher…I know you would take good care of a dog of your own.
I have a hard time making decisions…I like all three names. I kinda like Belle Starr, Jr.
5:08 pm on December 24th, 2012
Merry Christmas Eve to each and everyone of you! AJ and I have been invited to Mick and Jodi’s, the people not the pups, for Christmas Eve dinner. As I understand it, prime rib, and not hoose mead stew (hat tip to CHH who requested not saying the real name unless you are on the Plunderer’s Weigthloss Program).
Homemade! I am trying to make AJ’s Christmas gift, but my sewing machine and I have been waging war. The score is 1 to 0 at the half.
5:08 pm on December 24th, 2012
BAH HUMBUG!!! We do not have snow!
CHH: I am glad you are nice and toasty!
5:10 pm on December 24th, 2012
I am so happy Zoe has a bit of Christmas cheer!!
Not so happy to hear about the broken wrist. GRRRR!
5:14 pm on December 24th, 2012
Wose: My Two-legged says not to have so much faith in me. She is offering to tell you about the gold fish I had to learn the joys of responsibility. Responsibilty tastes quite fishy if you ask me. Burp!
5:16 pm on December 24th, 2012
Oh, Belle Starr! Was it fried or alive?
5:19 pm on December 24th, 2012
Bella, Prime rib is a whole lot better that the dreaded MHS. (I do keep laughing at Rio’s post the other day).
Hope you, AJ, Jodi, and Mick have a fun evening together!
5:29 pm on December 24th, 2012
I should have posted this the other day when it was so cold but you still might enjoy it (an acquaintance wrote some of this and I added a few sentences)
Five Steps on How to Enjoy Sunrise in Alaska
1. Wake up early (like 11:00 am)
2. Get dressed in all the clothes you own and sit outside where you can enjoy the view.
3. Relax…take in some deep, toxic, painfully icy breaths.
4. Watch as the sun slowly peaks out over the horizon. It is not going any higher.
5. Feel the air beginning to warm around you from -40 to maybe -38. Notice that your coffee has frozen. Go inside to defrost yourself and said coffee and remember the beauty of the sunrise.

Horrible!…We just had the most horrible afternoon with her mothers second cousin and hubby…sniff!…Now, my friend has known these people all her life practically. Very nice people to say the least. But her mother would not sit still to listen to their conversation, she kept interrupting about silly stuff…snort!…I was even embarrassed for her…burp!…Then after dinner all her mother could talk about was my friends sister in Iowa and all her stupidity and troubles….sniff!…Not very happy or even interesting conversation to say the least. I mean if you want to hear how hill billies live, it might be, but not really…grunt!…Then the hubby asked about my friends quilling because he saw some last year and really liked it. So she brought out the project she finished yesterday and he flipped over it…snort!…My friend was all flustered because she never ever gets any praise from anyone living in this house…heh!…She was so flustered she gave them the project for Christmas but signed her name upside down…grunt!…Wot a dork! She had the project upside down and signed it on the wrong corner!!…sniff!…So then I was embarrassed for her, but they did not seem to mind, thank dawg…wheeze!…Then her mother made a big deal about giving them the project after they left. “Why did you give those guys the prettiest one??”…snort!…My friend said “Because they liked it so much, why not!?”…grump!…Never a word of encouragent from her but by golly don’t give anything away….grump!…I’m exhausted.
Poinsettias!…Did Zoe get her poinsettias?…wuffle!

6:05 pm on December 24th, 2012
CHarris, I like that…enjoying the sunrise in Alaska.
Rio, We open them Christmas morning. When do you guys open gifts?
6:11 pm on December 24th, 2012
Gifts!…We have to wait till after Christmas dinner tomorrow!…wheeze!…That is a very long time to wait…sigh! …Someone said all Beau and I are getting is coal anyways…snuff!
6:15 pm on December 24th, 2012
SiberH: You don’t want any snow flakes from Michigan?
6:32 pm on December 24th, 2012
Stover, Snow falkes from Michigan would be most welcome. You are going to have a White Christmas.
Rio, After Christmas dinner is a long time to wait.
6:50 pm on December 24th, 2012
SiberH: I’ll mail them tomorrow.
Another line from Elementary–Sherlock to Watson: “Before you say anything I would remind you that I am holding an axe.”
6:52 pm on December 24th, 2012
Waiting!…After Christmas dinner is a really long time to wait, right?…grunt!…But since all the gifts under the tree are for OTHER people – people who may or may not show up tomorrow, there is no point in opening them because they are not for me!…grump!…Someone here is worried it eventually will snow tonight and our guests will not show up tomorrow….wheeze!…What a dreadful thought…gah!

7:14 pm on December 24th, 2012
Rose!…I sure hope not. We have a couple of gifts from a friend to look forward to….snort!…She says we can open them tomorrow morning before all the food prep starts…woooo!

Macy, we liked the Merry MinPin you were using earlier. Mom has a village too. If she can get a good picture, she will post it later.

Rose: I’m glad the Prof figured out all the grades and you two can finally have some well-deserved R & R.
Oh Boy!
Staff is starting the au jus for tomorrow’s prime rib.
B.Stover: Is that apostrophe in the right place on the sentence above?
A happy Christmas eve to everyone!

7:58 pm on December 24th, 2012
Rio: Well, I read your earlier post about waiting until after dinner tomorrow to open presents which is just wrong! So I called Mr. & Mrs. Staff into the living room and demanded we open one present immediately to celebrate Christmas Eve. I opened one from Mr. Staff. He got me a wooden card holder so I can have my hands free to eat and drink while beating him at cards. He opened one from me. He got a pink and white glove with fingers a foot long with pom poms and bells on the ends to tease the cats. Just then Abigail Kat walked in. He tried it out and Abby was completely uninterested and to make up for wasting her time I had to give her neck scritches and tummies.

Hi everyone on Christmas day already from down here!
I hope youse are having fun with the anticipation, not long to go now. I’m just on briefly between cooking duties and going to pick up my dad to bring him to lunch, but wanted to say a quick MERRY MERRY Christmas to those of you who are still awake, and hopefully catch up with more of you tomorrow.
We’ve had a cool change here – no snow, though! xx

Yay, hi Staff!!! I hope the beef is still okay (I know you’re a great cook and am sure it’s fine!).
Hi one and all. Sorry for freaking you out, Princess Sam – Santa’s been and gone and we’re just about to eat. Presents first though!
I loved reading about Zoe getting her christmas surprise. Nice of the florists to do the tree, isn’t it.

Christmas Eve!…I do believe I enjoy the heck out of tonight because of the anticipation, just like Spencer said this morning…wuffle!…I also like to think of Christmas’s past and all the good food I’ve had over the years on the Eve of the next Christmas…burp!…Life can be hard, but Christmas Eve is always worth living for…chuffle!

Merry Christmas to all the Lurkers! I wanted to say how amazing it was that T&G’s ma & pa actually met a Lurker at their weekend show. Wow!

Rio. We do just love It’s a Wondeful Life. It is a must see for us every Christmas season. We watched it about a week ago and it was good as ever. Our tradition on Christmas Eve is to always watch the Alastair Sim version of A Christmas Carol, which we will watch very soon.

That’s funny – from minus 38 degrees to (yesterday) nearly plus 38 degrees. That cold never ceases to baffle me, never get tired of it as Chet would say.
It’s a Wonderful Life is on tv at the moment – I wish they’d show The Bishop’s Wife, my personal preference.
Sleep tight, no peeking to try and see/scare the reindeer, Rio!

Just discovered that the doggies got into the grocery bags while I was doing other things besides putting groceries away and absconded with the meat. When I discovered it, I raced to the back yard but just found empty plastic meat trays. So much for dinner tonight and tomorrow. Store closed early today so can’t get more.

Liz!…Us Pugs never scare anyone…snort!… Although, Beau did a good job of setting one of our visitors teeth on edge when he begged and begged for some scratching only to growl and nip at the hand that was scratching him…grump!…What an ass. Then he had the nerve to go back and beg for more scratching from the same person…wheeze!…Jerk of all jerks.
Liz!…I hope you had a swell Christmas day with your family and friends…sniffle!… I think of you often and hope you are doing well. Please keep us updated on how you are doing. And remember to check in during the Iditarod! Exciting times around here!…snorkel!

CHobbit!…Maybe if you fed those guys they wouldn’t steal your meat!…heh!heh!…Or maybe they’ve been taking classes from Trigger and just passed their Final Exam…grunt!
10:47 pm on December 24th, 2012
I think CHarris’s dogs got an A+ on the final exam.
Mom won’t let me go outside and wait for Santa so I will check one more time on the internet before I go to sleep.
Merry Christmas To All
And To All a Good Night

Rio: I’m actually feeding my dogs in retirement too much and had already served them turkey meatloaf for breakfast and lunch–I never can resist doggie eyes. Now that we aren’t spending lots of time hiking, Sadie is quite porky while Lady never gains weight–lucky dog. I would have shared my stir fry dinner if they had let me cook it.
10:57 pm on December 24th, 2012
CHobbit!…I never doubted your tip-top feeding for one moment…snort!…If I could get my jaws around something out of the grocery bags, I would do the same thing…sniff!
11:02 pm on December 24th, 2012
C.Hobbit: Those doggies are making sure you don’t gain any weight over the holidays.
LizF: How’s Cricket doing? I saw his younger self up top a couple days ago. Give him some loving tummies from me.

Oh dear – we missed Liz. And she is already in the future. So we will go back to the past and wish her a Merry Christmas.
We also wish great peace, love and joy to all our family on this here blog. Whatever your faith, whatever you believe( or don’t), this is a season when people remember to be kinder, to be more generous, to be romantic and happy and appreciate simple things like snow falling from a dark sky, or twinkling lights wrapped around a tree.
We wish for all of you the happiness that you give to others in need of cheer. We wish you the comfort that you have given to those needing support. And we wish you laughter. Lots of laughter.
Merry Christmas Plunderers.
With love from Amalia, Leonard, Tupper, Gilly, Basil, Sage, Gramp and Callie Two too.

We are back just to say good night and g’day to Liz. So nice to hear from down under.
What wonderful sentiments from T & G, and so well expressed as usual. Barb is tired. Long day, too much to eat and drink, so off to bed for her.
Merry Christmas all.

We just finished up Christmas with our girls. It was great. We got cookies and I got a new blanket, a Christmas light squeaky, a Kong, and a tug treat. Actually the only gift with my name on it was the blanket, but the Others donated their gifts to me, too
Merry Tomorrow, Liz and everyone else too. Mom says we have to go to sleep now because she is meeting the girls at the bagel shop at 9:30. I can’t believe it is open.
Nighty sugar plums.

Our lady and the giant just arrived home smelling of laughter and prime rib. They had a great dinner with Mick and Jodi.
Merry Christmas to Timetraveler Liz! And, merry Christmas to each of youse. We’re going to keep an eye out for Santa and see if we can’t convince him to let us pull his sled.
Night youse.
