Jim Frangione

Jim narrates all the audio versions of the Chet and Bernie series. He’s simply brilliant once more with how he handles this one:

I love Jim Frangione’s voice. He narrates for several of my favorite authors. His voice is like smooth bourbon for your ears.

    Good day all!
Now that is an analogy, smooth bourbon for your ears. Wowser, we like that.
Happy boo bear day to everyone.
BTW, the middle grandson turns 16 today. Guess that means the mommy dog is getting older.

I don’t normally do audio books. I got turned off by a horrible, HORRIBLE version of The Martian. Apparently it was so bad that it is no longer available and it was redone with Wil Wheaton. I re-purchased it for that reason and Wheaton does a much better job.

Aside from that the only other audio books I have are As You Wish narrated by Cary Elwes, the author and Olive, Mabel and Me narrated by Andrew Cotter, the author. I guess I am partial to the brits narrating their own books.

I am hesitant to invest in all of the Chet and Bernie audiobooks but have been taking note of the reviews and praise for Jim’s narration.

    I also like bourbon.

I also enjoy physical books and the process of physically reading those books. It’s why I don’t do Kindle unless I have no choice and I generally avoid audio books.

    Rîo: Bourbon is very versatile.

    Spiced Bourbon Apricot jam.

I even put bourbon in my pumpkin pie. Also maple syrup. They go very well together.

Just when I think the meals are better on the other side of the fence, Attendant brings out the salmon and I know that there is really no place like home.

    I could eat salmon everyday.
