It’s Take Your Dog To Work Day
“Which is every day for us,” Bernie says.
“But who is taking whom?” says Suzie.
That makes Bernie laugh, whatever it happens to mean.

Hi Chet.
Good morning all.
10:13 am on June 21st, 2013
Basil and Sage, good job! WatchKats!
10:15 am on June 21st, 2013
Good morning, Bee and everyone.
HOH, glad to hear the Chicken/ eggplant Parm turned out well. Did everyone like it?
We were delayed on the chicken salad, due to the last minute babysitting job yesterday. Will be making it today.
Off for some errands. It is supposed to storm later this morning, so want to do the running before.
Smokey Joe, the new rescue guy came home last night. Good news -he loves the kids; bad news – he went potty twice in the house. Kelly said she is glad it was not the other way around. Will post pictures later when she sends a good one. We want youse guys to guess about his genetics. They are saying Lahsa Poo, but we don’t think so.
10:24 am on June 21st, 2013
Gooood morning, everyone! Have a fun-filled Friday at work or not.(We prefer the latter.)
B&M: Chicken…gome! Made 10 for 7 people. Will do it again, someday.
T&G: Your mama had some adventure last night. Loved all the safety suggestions. Might even try hot sauce in the shot gun, the HOH favorite.
Mom is going to the poor, ignored garden for a bit before the rain starts again. Hope she has the sense dog gave a chicken.
10:43 am on June 21st, 2013
Good morning! Mom wants us to come in the house and up to her boring office so she can have her dogs at work. We are refusing.
T&G: We still can’t believe that someone was on your deck while you all were right there in the house!!! We are thinking (hoping?) it was someone by mistake, or else that it was a bat.
Barb & Maggie, We are glad SMokey Joe likes the kids. The other issue is an easy one to resolve, and to be expected. How old is he? Any idea?
11:18 am on June 21st, 2013
Whew, commence breathing again.
YSAS is through the surgery. Teeth are out.
11:19 am on June 21st, 2013
YAY!
11:28 am on June 21st, 2013
I guess I could take my mom to work today. She can come outside with me and watch me work on a construction project.
We are very glad YSAS’s teeth are out. It’s over with! He will feel better once he recovers.
Watched Rio’s video. I am sure he was griping about the sorry state the Rockies are in right now.
Good Morning all
11:29 am on June 21st, 2013
While waiting on paw claws for surgery to end, I decided to clean out a closet. I found my photos of a project I did in 2004. The 21st of each month I would gather my photography equipment and go to the “Jambs”. The Jambs is where a portion of our river runs through a 25 foot wide gorge. The granite walls on either side are 80 feet high. You can follow it down to the lowest level. There are water falls and glens galore.
I thought I’d share a picture for each month (if I can remember to do so after this month)
11:33 am on June 21st, 2013
This is before the river starts its way down the gorge. I did not do any photoshopping. I hope the colors are the same on your computers.
June 21, 2004
Solstice
11:37 am on June 21st, 2013
I hope the Royals are okay. We haven’t heard from them yet this morning. I don’t like what happened last night. Sometimes it does not matter to the perp whether the homeowners are home or not.
Did I read T&G’s post correctly? You cannot own a shotgun in the state of MA? Not that I am on their side, but what do hunters do?
11:39 am on June 21st, 2013
Paws crossed for YSAS’s recovery. Smokey Joe is in a strange environ. He’ll adjust, we all did (some quicker than others). Some are always special needs…our Ella Fitz always piddled (mom’s word) inside when it rained, so mom put a puppy pad where she’d go. Case closed.
11:41 am on June 21st, 2013
Melanie, Mom says that is a nice photo. She wants to know if you have any pictures of a waterfall. Bernie might like one also.
11:49 am on June 21st, 2013
Melanie: That is a great photo. The colors are beautiful.
We here are thinking about the ‘Run oft’ note Rio’s friend wanted to pass to the job applicant yesterday. We wonder if it was followed by a note that said: No, seriously, I mean it. And, then: Quick now, like a little puggy. ‘Take me with you’ may have been a likely substitute for any of the notes.
11:51 am on June 21st, 2013
People can own a shotgun in MA. THE HERBS may not have a shotgun.
That is a good thing.
11:59 am on June 21st, 2013
Hi everyone. We are all fine here. And we want you to know that we weren’t REALLY sleeping through this whole episode. We just knew that it was nothing to get excited about.
Anyway – we have found out this morning that there was a domestic dispute down the street from us earlier in the evening that required police officers. We have a feeling that the perp was actually someone from that house who may have imbibed a wee bit too much of the grape or the grain, and came to the back door of the wrong house. The backyards of our house and the other one are similar, wooded with post and rail fencing. But if that was the case, we are sure that the wanderer was wondering “Now who put this stairway and deck here?”.
Gramp patrolled the fence line today and found where someone had climbed over the fence. Kind of looks like they were stumbling around a bit. We hope they ran into the resident skunk.
And Siber – shotguns are legal in this state, but Mama says they are not legal in this house. Apparently, we are our own country, kind of like an embassy.
Also – very happy that YSAS is now without problem teeth. We hope they didn’t remove his wisdom too.
11:59 am on June 21st, 2013
Mom is feeling better, but still not tip top.
Have been away from the computer so don’t know what is going on here on the blog. Will try to catch up later today.
Just wanted to say hey we miss youse.
YSAS! Yeep!!!
12:00 pm on June 21st, 2013
Melanie, we think if we owned a shotgun, we wouldn’t have to expend so much energy hunting critters. We could just lie about and shoot the fools. What do you think?
12:08 pm on June 21st, 2013
Masquers: Just say the word, and we can blur in a flash to help you with your smooching duties. We have missed you, too.
12:10 pm on June 21st, 2013
Masquers, I am glad mom is feeling better, but I missed that she was sick!!! I thought you and she were off house-sitting.
shhhh…..Mom is off searching for Dima because he has to go to the v**…
12:14 pm on June 21st, 2013
Masquers – we missed that your mom was sick too. We knew about the house sitting, but we must have been reading every other word. Prayers going up for her full and quick recovery.
Dima – RUN! Run like the wind…..
12:15 pm on June 21st, 2013
Thanks for your answers about the shotgun. It makes a lot of sense that the perp was a drunk guy from down the street not knowing he was at the wrong house. That apparently happens a lot. Robert Downey Jr. did it once.
Fellow Sibers, What are you thinking??? Where is the fun in us Sibers using a shotgun???
Masquers, Hope mom gets to feeling better soon. Thanks for checking in with us.
12:28 pm on June 21st, 2013
Marquers, good to hear from ya’ll. Healthy, pawsitive thoughts heading at ya.
Mom has taken us to work today, like every other day. We have dug in the yard, barked at neighbors, rearrangd the house rugs and now are off to nap.
Dima, just know your mom loves you or you wouldn’t get the upcoming “trip”.
Mealnie, we love your foto work. You are creative and have a great eye.
12:34 pm on June 21st, 2013
Michigan strawberries are out. Yum!
Beautiful photo Melanie and good news about YSAS.
12:58 pm on June 21st, 2013
Hi everyone!
Was it that dental visit or the prospect of an extended stay away from home base? I don’t know.
Transplanting of plants and critters takes an adjustment period it seems.
As for moi, the prospect of many nights jamm’n with the kats on Jazz Alley is my dream come true. Wooo.
Luna, I will let you know, but it seems the worst is past.
Thanks for the offer.
B: Strawberries. Yum!
Later gators.
1:06 pm on June 21st, 2013
Siber-H, I’ve been taken power naps since I heard about YSAS.
Masquer’s mom, get well. Not easy being sick in someone else”s ouse.
Robert Downey JR. has not showed up in our backyard. Or, if he has, he hightailed it out of here.
B. Stover, dreams are weird. You will be happy fo know fhat the next time you was your sheets you will find ALL your lost socks.
YSAS’s meds have not kicked in at this point. He should be seeing dancing giraffes soon.
1:06 pm on June 21st, 2013
Work!…My friend says she wouldn’t take her best friend to the screwed-up-busy-place or even her worst enemy…grunt!…I guess I’m off the hook either way…heh!heh!
1:13 pm on June 21st, 2013
Welcome back Masquers.
Socks? Was it the Newfs?
1:16 pm on June 21st, 2013
Melanie: That is a lovely photograph! Hope YSAS feels better soon. I have so many teeth problems, I would like mine all taken out as well.
Masquers, my dear friend: I have missed you very much! Sorry to hear your mom was sick. Hope she is tip-top very soon.
RIO! Maybe you should go to work with your friend. Seems there are many pant legs to be clamped down on…..
1:35 pm on June 21st, 2013
I’m back. I was poked and prodded and sliced and diced. But I’m none the worse for wear. The stupid v** said I have arthritis in my hips. What does she know. Tell it to the raccoon.
Rio, your last comment made me laugh so bad I almost forgot the injustice I was dealt today.
1:52 pm on June 21st, 2013
Dima: If the mean v e t said that, there are some good things, natural and medicinal, to get rid of stiffness and pain. Chondroitin/Glucasamine is a good vitamin for 2 and 4 leggers. Our Aretha was on Rimadyl before she crossed the bridge and didn’t complain about her hip or bum leg.
1:54 pm on June 21st, 2013
Masquers, tell your mom to feel better quick.
Hope YSAS has a pain free afternoon.
Barb is going to go do some cooking, but here are a couple of shots of Smokey Joe first. Oley, they think he is 3-4. He was picked up as a stray in Kentucky and was brought up here from a high kill shelter. He was scheduled to be put down the next day. Kelly says he is very sweet natured. They have given him a bath since these pictures, so he doesn’t look quite as scruffy. Any guesses on his parentage?

1:57 pm on June 21st, 2013
2:08 pm on June 21st, 2013
Smokey Joe looks like a great guy. Do you think he has Schnauzer in him?
The v-person gave Mom 10 days of Novox…is that o.k.?
2:08 pm on June 21st, 2013
Wowser, we think Smokey Joe is one little hunk! Did someone think some poooodle somewhere? And would you look at those eyes!
We are in love.
2:09 pm on June 21st, 2013
Dawson and I are brainstorming about our plunderer’s passport.
We think the cover should say Plunderer(‘s) Passport and down below where a real one says USA ours would say
Republic of Stovernia
Or
ChettheDog.com
And inside on the first page, the one with your PICTURE (which you will insert) these words.
“The Queen of the Republic of Stovernia hereby requests all whom it may concern to permit the citizen/national of the Republic of Stovernia named herein to pass without delay or hindrance and in the case of need to give all lawful aid and protection.”
It says it in French and Spanish also but unless there is a loud outcry we will not try to translate.
At the bottom of that page there will be a line for the plunderers signature. (Signature of Bearer)
The next page, the one with the picture has all sorts of ID. We are not sure if we should do any of that.
We are expecting some input from you plunderers so put it here on the blog and we will pay attention.
Nancy and Dawson
2:16 pm on June 21st, 2013
Oops, Staff and Dawson…snicker
Melanie, That pic is my new screen saver
Smokey Joe is a doll. Hope he settles down.
2:16 pm on June 21st, 2013
Dima, Novox is generic for rimadyl. We think safe.
Passports sound great so far. We will need to put our own names under fotos (typed or computer) and each have a stamp that is unique to our persona.
2:17 pm on June 21st, 2013
Passport!….I like the following:…grunt!
Plunderer Passport
ChetTheDog.com (this is where we really live)
The Queen Bee…etc on the first page…snort!
2:21 pm on June 21st, 2013
Passport!…Oh and a Baseball imprinted on every page…snort!heh!
2:26 pm on June 21st, 2013
Thanks, HOH. Sasha took Chondroitin/Glucasamine every day for much longer than I can remember, because a shoulder thingamajig caused a hitch in her giddyap. At least that is how Mom explained it to me. With those pills, she moved without a hitch.
Mom tells me the 10 days of Novox are just to verify if I am in pain enough to cause me to slow down. The ‘rents say I slowed down. Again, I say ask the raccoon if I am slow. Anyways, if these pills make me feel like a youngster again, Mom will probably just put me on the Sasha pills, which are called Arthogen.
2:26 pm on June 21st, 2013
Interesting that you say Sshnauzer and Poodle. We were thinking that exact combo. The rescue place said they thought Lhasa and Poodle, but we don’t see it. He loves the kids, spent the night in Lily’s room. Obviously has been alowed on furniture, as he just jumps right up and makes himself at home. Fortunately they don’t mind one bit.
2:31 pm on June 21st, 2013
I like the passport. I would use “Plunderer Passport.” I don’t like the idea of a baseball imprinted on every page. I would use Chet The Dog Blog.
Smokey is cute.
2:32 pm on June 21st, 2013
Barb!…He looks like a scam artist to me..,sniff!….I say lock up all yer valuables…grunt!
2:32 pm on June 21st, 2013
Stover!…heh!snort!heh!
2:33 pm on June 21st, 2013
Staff and Dawson – is very important for specifics. Is not Supreme Commander Bee’s actual title Empress? Ve think Empress much more regal than mere qveen. Is alvays been Empress in homeland. Vhat is good for homeland is good for everyvon.
Vell, ok, so current president of homeland is not so good. Is little embarrassing vhen he steals ring of big bowl. But forget not, homeland also gives caviar and vodka, so is not such bad place after all, yes?
2:35 pm on June 21st, 2013
That is uncut poodle hair! Just wonderful. He looks like a wonder dog!
Staff, I do not have the brain to help. I know that I do NOT want baseballs on any pages. I like Republic of Stovernia with maybe a flag with Chet the Dog dot com on it? Have no idea if that is possible.
Don’t really know. Spending my day with a royally p***ed off YSAS. The pain meds are beginning to take effect. And yet, as he answered his Facetime with me, “Who ever said ice cream was good for this stuff should rot in hell.”
He is now taking a nap.
I broke down and got the old fashion sprinkler. The one that goes swish swish swish swish. I will be putting it out in the shade garden soon.
2:38 pm on June 21st, 2013
Dima: Our mom and our Sonya both have had “hitches in their giggyaps”. We think you are in gooood company.
Passports: Stover, yes. Baseball, no. Sorry Rio, but we still love ya.
2:39 pm on June 21st, 2013
Natasha. There was always a question about the status of the Queen Bee. There was the Empress faction and the Queen faction. While it is surely true that Bees have been Queens for centuries. I will let the blog decide.
Queen? or Empress?
Please vote…
2:40 pm on June 21st, 2013
Oh, Melanie, YSAS sounds cereal….hope he doesn’t get dry sockets like mom. There will be no tollerating him 🙂
2:45 pm on June 21st, 2013
Empress.
Chet the Dog blog.
Do we have a coat of arms? or just a coat of many colors?
2:47 pm on June 21st, 2013
While Queen B could be derogatory, one definition of queen is “a woman noted for her beauty or accomplishments”. Empress seems to denote a much larger entity than Stovernia…sorry.
HOH vote for Queen (we think).
2:48 pm on June 21st, 2013
Just to explain: The “Plunderer” in “Plunderer Passport” is an adjective rather than a possessive.
I would think that ice cream would be too cold on YSAS’ teeth. Can he eat cooked oatmeal?
2:48 pm on June 21st, 2013
Queen!…As in Queen Bee in a Coat of Many Colors…snort!
2:50 pm on June 21st, 2013
Clarkson!…Ice-cream would be torture on those bloody wounds…sniff! …Maybe he should lap his meals out of a water-bowl for a while, like I do…snorkle!
2:52 pm on June 21st, 2013
Empress but I am voting for baseball along with Chet the Dog blog.
Smokey is cute…reminds me of Jasper but without the styled hair.
3:10 pm on June 21st, 2013
Great HOH, what the heck are dry sockets? Never mind I looked it up. Luckily, the dentists sutured YSAS’s gums.
Empress!!
Hi Nattie, Long time . . no read. Caviar and vodka. Hmm, I can not have either. The ring of bowl was pretty funny though. I have to say that perhaps he feels a tad bit entitled.
“Hitches in their giggyaps” Snort! I resemble that remark.
I am using my cane less and less. Today was a record. SIX HOURS! Then my hip said, “What the CARPOLA are you doing?” Tomorrow I’m going for over six hours.
3:20 pm on June 21st, 2013
I vote for Queen. So far 3 Queens and 2 Empresses.
Dawson is pondering if she can pledge allegiance to 2 queens…
3:25 pm on June 21st, 2013
Hey, we’re good at waffling…..do we need to?
3:36 pm on June 21st, 2013
Three of a kind and a pair.
B.Stover, I will mention the oatmeal the next time he calls.
Riö, I will not mention lapping the water out of a bowl. He might reach through the phone and smack the back of my head. (as in Tony in NCIS)
My sprinkler WORKS!
3:38 pm on June 21st, 2013
Tied again now that I counted right. 3 to 3 Queen vs. Empress
3:42 pm on June 21st, 2013
Melanie, mom loves the head slap thing (w/ Di nozzo only).
Is it time to waffle yet? Still, we like queen. West coast, check in here!
3:48 pm on June 21st, 2013
Melanie,
Some people collect shoes. Many men collect flashlights. I collect sprinklers. Heh.
I have a beautiful copper one that rotates and swirls like a mobile. I love it.

Then I have a very industrial one that is on an extension and can lift up to over 3 feet and spray over tall flowers. While cleaning the mudroom last week I found one that Mr.Staff’s family had that is a plastic/rubber/Bakelite 2″ ball with holes on it attached to a hose coupling and with a spike to anchor into the ground. Snicker. He had to tell me what it was!
I also recently bought a ‘noodle’ sprinkler that has 3″ flexible tubes (noodles?) that you can shape to the desired form and use to sprinkle an oval or triangle or whatever you decide. I haven’t used it yet. I also have a cool metal one painted yellow that has wheels.
I LOVE sprinklers.
3:52 pm on June 21st, 2013
Drat. I used the forbidden word. I am in moderation and it is a long long post about sprinklers. With a picture. Why oh why can the herd of hounds get away with it but we can’t? sniff sniff
I am sure it was MOST IMPORTANT!
3:53 pm on June 21st, 2013
Melanie,
Some people collect shews. Many men collect flashlights. I collect sprinklers. Heh.
I have a beautiful copper one that rotates and swirls like a mobile. I love it.

3:54 pm on June 21st, 2013
HA! Take that Mike Baker. Where is a cane when you need one?
4:00 pm on June 21st, 2013
Mom and I are both wishy washy and don’t want to vote against anyone, so we vote 1 for queen and 1 for empress.
Mom’s previous dogs were supposedly full blood Lhasa Apsos, but there was a something in the woodpile for sure. She has never had a purebred dog, even though Honey and Socks had papers, they would have been laughed out of the AKC had they sent in pictures.
Mom has a migraine for the 4th day in a row. If everyone would press down on the top of their heads and think good thoughts, she would really appreciate it.
4:02 pm on June 21st, 2013
All in a day’s work:

4:04 pm on June 21st, 2013
Macy, mom has cluster migraines…we feel your mom’s pain and pawsitive poopy thoughts go to you.
4:10 pm on June 21st, 2013
HOH, “thanks” for the poopy thoughts.
For those of you making cat sweaters, you can now order direct from the source.

4:18 pm on June 21st, 2013
T&G: Did ya’ll see QE2’s horse race?
Macy: love ya…silly ting.
Still like queen, but we can be bribed.
4:27 pm on June 21st, 2013
Staff, The Howlers would have 3 seperate votes for Empress since there are 3 of them.
4:32 pm on June 21st, 2013
Cute pic, Macy. Hope your mama feels better.
Not only did he steal, I mean except as a gift, the ring of bowls, but isn’t he getting the big D after 30 years of marriage?
Seems he has a baby mama on the side!
We love the show NCIS, but personally have never liked the head slapping bit. I know, I know, we are being overly sensitive, but Barb finds it demeaning.
Years ago they would always recommend jello and ice cream when kids had their tonsils out. So I would think wisdom teeth might have the same recommendation.
We want that copper sprinkler!
4:45 pm on June 21st, 2013
I vote Empress! So much more regal…like Bee.
4:58 pm on June 21st, 2013
Staff, let me get this straight. Your family collects old sewing machines, old printing presses, and old sprinklers. Anything else?
5:04 pm on June 21st, 2013
Dawson collects EVERYTHING!
5:07 pm on June 21st, 2013
Turtleman collects Lead type too. Oh, and paper cutters. Big big paper cutters.
Our Dad collected old washing machine motors but Mom threw them out. (I don’t know if you can call it collecting but he refused to put them in the garbage for years and he had more than one.) Whenever they died, he kept them. They are gone now.
5:08 pm on June 21st, 2013
I am beginning to realize that Queen B is an Empress. I will wait for the voters who are standing in line…heh heh heh.
5:14 pm on June 21st, 2013
Macy: I hope that your mom starts feeling better. I used to get migraines and the only thing that helped was lying down with a heating pad on my head.
5:16 pm on June 21st, 2013
Sam, We were going to mention that too. Their collections are anything but ordinary!
Some idiot just drove by in a mini van with a little girl, about 5 or 6, sitting on the lap of the driver and helping drive the car! Where is a cop when you need one!
5:19 pm on June 21st, 2013
Hear Ye, Hear Ye, Bear’s Vote!
Official Plunderer Passport
Empress B, Ruler of The Republic of Stovernia.
Chetthedog.com the official stamp of Stovernia?
Melanie: Like the Flag idea.
Staff & Dawson; Good Work!
Smokey Joe is a Charmer!
5:20 pm on June 21st, 2013
Macy, Ican come down ther and help you hold your mama’s head down. Just say the word. Meantime, tell her to lie down in a dark room. Andif she doesn’t have one of those herbal pillows, then use a heating pad.
5:22 pm on June 21st, 2013
Carpola! Where is that spacebar when I need it?
(Carpola was not my first choice in word to yell at myself.)
5:23 pm on June 21st, 2013
P.S. 4 HOH on queen…but did someone say bribe? Rio, Wookie, BSD et al where are ya’ll when needed?
5:25 pm on June 21st, 2013
oooops who just appeared?
5:38 pm on June 21st, 2013
I vote for Queen Bee.
5:47 pm on June 21st, 2013
Why is it, whenever we have something REALLY important to say, spelling and spaces go to caca?
5:56 pm on June 21st, 2013
The votes are in from Snowhook.
21 for Empress
21 for Queen
1 vote from Charlie for ‘Mine’—the lad seems to be sweet on a certain Professor
1 vote for Pug from Belle Starr
6:01 pm on June 21st, 2013
Could, perhaps the term “the Empress Queen, her royal…” be used?
6:03 pm on June 21st, 2013
Empress.
6:05 pm on June 21st, 2013
What kind of breed is Smokey Joe? He is a LBD (little, black dog) pure and simple.
6:19 pm on June 21st, 2013
You guys are cracking me up.
6:23 pm on June 21st, 2013
Empress
Chet the Dog
I want a Staff copper sprinkler and a Smokey Joe. Both are beautiful.
Happy solstice, Everybody. Is anyone planning to dance in the moonlight tonight?
6:25 pm on June 21st, 2013
Empress Queen Beee…….hmmmmm. Pondering.
6:26 pm on June 21st, 2013
BlueKat: It is all downhill from here. I’m sure Woodstock and my people will sleep better with the extra few seconds of darkness. Have your people ever had to wear sunglasses at 11pm? They might want to practice. I’m just sayin’…
6:29 pm on June 21st, 2013
Dance in the moonlight? Nekkid?
6:30 pm on June 21st, 2013
B: Are you planning on attending the partay this weekend? I ask because Charlie is hoping the answer is yes. He mentioned something about giving you a quarter sausage. I think he means a corsage, but you can never be too sure. Personally speaking, I’d prefer meat to flowers.

HOH has a good idea. I like the way that sounds…The Empress Queen
6:34 pm on June 21st, 2013
HOH- of course, nekked. There’s no other way, is there?
Tenz – that happened to them in Scotland and they thought it was funny. They drank more wine so they could sleep.
6:39 pm on June 21st, 2013
I’m nekkid right now. Aaarrooohhhh!
6:45 pm on June 21st, 2013
Tenzig: Of course. I’m going to bring the Cahors. And I’d love anything that Charlie gave me.
6:45 pm on June 21st, 2013
We will dance, but since we are in a subdivision now, we may go for a flowing gauzy gown rather than nekked.
LBD, love it Tenzing.
We also like Empress.
6:46 pm on June 21st, 2013
Macy, the whole Pack (4 legged and 2 legged) went outside and put our paw hands on our heads and pressed. We sent Pawsitive thoughts your way.
Traffic has become unsnaggled. snicker
BlueKat, we will not be outside dancing nekked in the moonlight. The mosquitoes would love it.
Staff, I told Zoe about your sprinklers. We are very impressed.
We collect dust.
LLL is now home with YSAS. That should help.
6:51 pm on June 21st, 2013
The Queen Elizabeth 2 had a horse race on it? I knew the ship was big, but not that big.
6:52 pm on June 21st, 2013
I love, love, love Smoky Joe, Melanie’s creek photo, Dima’s “tell it to the racoon” comment, the royal mum back in the clay room, Masquer’s mum on the mend, my sister’s sprinklers, my brother’s printing presses, everything Snowhook, everything Chet and Bernie, etc, etc, etc.
I collect books.
6:57 pm on June 21st, 2013
Melanie, oh, oh, oh, be careful. Staff knows about your sprinkler. She could launch a midnight requisition.
7:02 pm on June 21st, 2013
Empress Queen Beee solves the dilemma and is unique (which we all are).
7:03 pm on June 21st, 2013
Staff: You say the word and we are happy to assist with your, er, midnight requisition.
7:14 pm on June 21st, 2013
Princess Sam, thank you for the warning. The sprinkler is now hidden.
Just finished facetime with YSAS and LLL. He is much happier, still in a lot of pain, but happier. LLL has a friend who is a oral surgeon’s assistant. He has told her to call him with any problems. He will also tell her it is time to call the emergency number. He is now sipping tempid Sprite. He needs the sugar.
7:15 pm on June 21st, 2013
Obviously the last two “he’s” are YSAS.
Sigh

Now Rio: did you coerce Beau to vote like he did? What did you do? Take his toys hostage, promise him a snack? Don’t listen Beau…he will take your toys and your treats for himself as always. When will you learn? Or are you a “turn the cheek” kind of Biblical pug?

Great stamps. I am fading fast . . Nothing like trying to ease someone’s pain when they are miles and miles away.
Macy, Nikki is amazing. I would love to do that. (Actually, I just want to walk without a cane.)
Riö, you seem desperate for a book with pugs. I have never read this, but maybe someone else has . . http://www.alisonpace.com/pug-hill
TTFN zzzzzzzzz
9:59 pm on June 21st, 2013
We definitely like Empress although the Empress Queen combo works as well.
We had an interesting idea, rather than everyone having their own stamps, possibly having the individual passport pages printed with the names and logo (perhaps their avatar or something else) for both the two legged and four legged members of each Plunderer family, which could be checked off when you actually meet (possibly with a signature or a paw print stamp). And there could be a few blank pages at the end for others who join the Plunderers in the future. This of course presupposes it would not be too much work for the Turtleman to do.
10:00 pm on June 21st, 2013
I’d like to have some honey from South Texas about right now, but Stover isn’t from South Texas.
George Strait is from South Texas…just thought I’d throw that into the mix.

I also have migraines (it is a family trait). Recently my nephew was hospitalized with a migraine and subsequently made two more trips to the ER. However, unlike the other members in my family, mine are painless. I have the vision disturbances, etc (I often go blind in one eye for a while) but no pain. My family hates me.

This is the perfect site for anyone who would like to find out about this topic.
You realize so much its almost tough to argue with you
(not that I personally will need to…HaHa).
You definitely put a new spin on a subject that has been discussed for
years. Great stuff, just wonderful!
