It’s A Wonderful Woof

This is the photo I post when I’ve finished a book. What I mean by finished is I’ve gotten to the end. After that I go over it, but that only takes a few days since I revise as I go along. The book in question is It’s A Wonderful Woof, the Chet and Bernie novel that will follow Tender Is The Bite (“both available for preorder!” – Mrs. Publicist). The last word in the manuscript: “imagination.”

Love this picture, and wonderful for us readers that there will be TWO C&B books!

Congratulations Spencer and hooray for us!

Hobbit: The temperature here is reaching one of the points where celsius and fahrenheit are the same (minus 40). It’s -36F and -38C here. Not quite as bad as your North Pole days but close.

Read a book. Start a fire.

HOH: You win the prize! Young Andy Williams is my favorite part of the lollipop song.

Good day everyone! We like the picture too.
We have the potential for an inch of snow tonight but it won’t happen. Because our days have been too warm.
Dawson, thanks for the prize it’s always nice to win some thing.
I really miss Andy Williams Christmas specials.

Dawson: you have my sympathy! I don’t know how I survived those days and I lived there 30 years. Yeep. Never again. I also suggest hot chocolate in addition to a book and a fire.

I would like my Attendant even if she didn’t serve me salmon or chicken but I cannot lie… I love her more on those days. I know I am a lucky kitty. I am also a greedy kitty.

Grump!…My friend has been on the phone with an automated voice trying to get my internet, TV and phone back…snarl!…Talk about irritating…sniff!…Her one word answers became very terse by the end of that ordeal….grump! …And ITS SNOWING AGAIN!…growl!

Anyone else keep cat kibble on top of the refrigerator where a greedy kitty can’t get?

Lots of sunshine today which means both kitties thought it meant that it was warm outside and they wanted to be let out. They were shocked when I opened the deck door and decided to stay inside.

Today’s goal: clearing the dining table. When I bought this house I was going to turn over a new leaf and 1. eat at the dining table and 2. keep in cleared off and clean. All my flat surfaces collect paper and clutter.

Rio: I am sorry it is snowing again. If I could do something about it, I would, trust me.

I’m a bit embarrassed to say it was sunny and mid 70s today. I went out in a t-shirt and shorts to examine the garden. If it makes you feel better, seems the snails are eating all of my lettuce despite the bait. I may have to start going out there with a flashlight at night. Not sure what to do with the little suckers. I used to pick them off and drop them in a bucket of ammonia solution but I haven’t been able to get any for a year.

Diana pawPrints, Wonder Puppy is a counter surfer. At 100 lbs she doesn’t even have to stand on her hind legs. She just cruises the counters with her nose. I keep her treats in canning jars. Not only can she not unscrew the lids, having no opposable thumbs, but it also deters the occasional field mouse looking for the buffet.
