Inauguration Day

Inauguration Day. Don’t know what that means, exactly, but Bernie’s been glued to the TV all day. Bernie and I run the Little Detective Agency. I’ll get into that some other time. The only interesting thing I picked up from the TV is that those two little girls want one of my guys to join their family, my guys meaning a member of what Bernie calls the nation within the nation, namely dogs. Anyway, a great idea! I can’t join their family myself, of course – much too busy and besides, we’re a team, me and Bernie – but I’ve spent some time in the pound and know there are plenty of good candidates there. By the way, just in case you got the idea I can talk, I can’t (and wouldn’t even want to). But I can think, better believe it!

I had to see where it began, at least the blog part. I seriously hope you will read this..dunno how these blog things work. My father is dying of lung cancer, and we celebrated his 80th birthday today. We never thougth he would make it this far.. I bought your book for him for a Christmas present and he LOVED it. So I got him the second book this month. I just want you to know how much laughter and joy and suspence you have brought to a dying man. Thank you Spencer Quinn from the bottom of my heart. I am one of your biggest fans for life. Thank you so much.

And Rio – The Evil Pug says "hey" and also thanks you. And yes. she really is "that evil".

Back again. Today, I seriously felt like a fool. I know the Pub Date is “right there” for all to see. Still, I apologize from the bottom of my heart if I have ruined your blog in any way, shape or form over the last month or more. I guess in making up stories and trying to get others involved, was my way of coping and escaping my reality and heartaches. I never meant any disrespect to you or yours in any fashion. I was just trying to have fun and make others laugh while we wait for the next book.

Rio thinks you are the best bad-ass writer out there!… no doubt in that Pug mind!

PS: Thanks in advance for “To Fetch A Thief”!… I will treasure it always!
