Iggy: From The Dog Who Knew Too Much
Night fell. Bernie and I sat in the dining hall, which was called the chuckwagon here at Big Bear Wilderness Camp. We have a wagon at home, and when Charlie was younger I’d pull him around on it. “Chet the Jet!” he’d be shouting. “Faster, faster, Chet the Jet!” Did we zoom around or what? This was back in the days when Iggy was still roaming outside. And guess what: Iggy didn’t race along with us, oh, no. Instead he liked to jump on the wagon, crowd in with Charlie, and steal a free ride. That Iggy!

Iggy is a smart dog! (Chet: Can you find out from Spence how Dog Who is coming? These samples are great.) And…good morning Chet and everyone…and Barb who posted early on yesterday’s segment.
9:26 am on December 18th, 2010
Iggy is quite the dog! He knew those short legs of his would have trouble keeping up with “Chet the Jet!”
So from PI convention to a Wilderness Camp . . .
Watch out for Bears and Goats and Beavers Chet! Those nasty Perps.
9:29 am on December 18th, 2010
Morning B.Stover! Off to the dump and then some errands IN THE VAN. It is an automatic!
9:51 am on December 18th, 2010
Oh and skunks – really watch out for those black squirrels with white stripes! Wookie could tell you tails (tales?) of many, many unwanted baths.
9:57 am on December 18th, 2010
No clutches for Melanie! Brrr cold here but sunny.
Got up at 5:30 and started the day’s projects. Have step 1 and 2 done for Date Pinwheels. Cooked filling, made dough, both are chilling. Will need to be rolled out later, made into jelly roll, chilled again, and the sliced and baked. Time consuming, but not hard to make, and they are the kid’s favorite.
Hope the MIA toffee shows up today. It is yummy!
We are off, too. Have errands to run and about 6 different places to go. BBL

Debbie LM, Maggie was barking up a storm this morning at daybreak. Now the garage smells faintly of eu de skunk. I am wondering if there was one out in the yard earlier. Maggie must know what she is talking about!
10:50 am on December 18th, 2010
Good morning everybody!
Good old Iggy. Maybe he will finally get free this time.
Eu de skunk is one of my favorite scents, but I don’t wear it because I think mom and dad are allergic. They raise a big “stink” whenever they smell it.
Barb is way to energetic. Mom just rolled over and went back to sleep.
And now, taking requests:
11:05 am on December 18th, 2010
Oh boy! I can’t wait to read more about Iggy. It’s such a long wait.
11:07 am on December 18th, 2010
Iggy!… What a guy! That’s exactly what I would do, get in the wagon and go for a ride!…heh!…Sounds like Chet and Bernie are going to be in the Wilderness in their next adventure!…snort!
Project!….Now before she decides not to let me do this – here is a photo of the last project she finished….sniff!…This will be Grandma’s Christmas gift from both of us even though I didn’t do anything to it, not that I didn’t want to mind you….grump!…Right after the photo was taken she framed it in a shadow box thing and we will wrap it up for Grandma today….wheeze!

11:16 am on December 18th, 2010
Wow Rio,
Your friend has sure come a long way in her quilling in a short time. I bet Grandma will love her picture.
11:22 am on December 18th, 2010
Very nice. Grandma will surely appreciate the care that went into this special gift. I don’t think this is a project for those of us who are all paws!
11:23 am on December 18th, 2010
Is Santa Paws plugged in? What is with the cord?
11:32 am on December 18th, 2010
Rio: That is absolutely delightful. It makes the view happy just looking at it. (I think your friend could go into business.) I don’t know what a shadow box frame is.
11:34 am on December 18th, 2010
AbbieTheKat!… She says she learned a lot making this project…sniff!… Maybe the next one will not be so difficult and time consuming. We are waiting for some more advanced books on Quilling to show up on our doorstep. Hopefully the marauding Goats are busy eating SiberH’s toffee and will leave our stuff alone!…heh!
11:46 am on December 18th, 2010
That should be make the “viewer happy….”
12:01 pm on December 18th, 2010
Rio – Your friend is so very talented. I remember when she said she wanted to do QUILTING and felt that she couldn’t do it. It sure looks like she can do most anything she wants to.
12:04 pm on December 18th, 2010
Love the paragraph from Dog Who. A wilderness camp with a dining hall…how cool is that.
The project is beautiful, Rio. Grandma will love it…it is so cheerful and bright. I’m glad you don’t have to mail it.
Whenever we go North, don’t worry about our paws. Volunteers can make us dog and cat booties, just like they do for the Iditarod dogs. They wear the booties not to keep warm, but for protection from the trail.
12:09 pm on December 18th, 2010
If you are against hunting, don’t read this:
I am going to get a goat hunting license. I’ve had it!
12:11 pm on December 18th, 2010
Stover!…A shadow box is a deep frame. Because the flowers have depth, it could not be framed in a normal photo frame….snort! ….She took another photo for you in the shadowbox…grunt!

12:14 pm on December 18th, 2010
Stover!…. I forgot to mention it is in an 8 x 10 frame…snort!
12:14 pm on December 18th, 2010
Rio, where is the link to your friends quilling company? I would like 3 by Christmas please.
12:26 pm on December 18th, 2010
Min Pin!… After Christmas is over she said she would love to make a project for you…snort!… But first before Christmas she wants to make a project for her best friend out on the farm….wheeze!…So time is short. This morning all the crafty stuff got organized and put away so we can maybe, hopefully get our little tree up…sniff!…So much to do and not enough time to do it…grunt!
12:33 pm on December 18th, 2010
We have 2 little trees up. Side by side. No idea why. One has no decorations. Dad got the idea that we needed a bigger little tree but ran out of steam before decorating. Now..one little silver tree WITH decorations, one little green tree with lights. *sigh*
please cancel my quilling order and return my deposit, thanks
12:39 pm on December 18th, 2010
Biddie is the star. I am in pink glasses behind.
12:45 pm on December 18th, 2010
Love the exerpts from Dog Who. Keep them coming. The book is going to be wonderful. I like hearing about Iggy. It is good for him to get out now and then.
Rio: The picture is lovely. Your friend is getting to be an expert very fast.
12:45 pm on December 18th, 2010
Rio: Very nice quilling project. I like the pink and purple flowers the best…and the orange and yellow ones that contrast nicely…and the ones that are spiralling off to the side. Gee. the whole thing together is wonderful.
About your soap box rant: Not everyone has access or the time to monitor the blog on a daily basis, much less all day long. We plunderers are not the blog bosses. This is a public forum and is available for everyone to express their opinions, one time, occasionally or all day long, every day. Like me, for instance. Next week I start a tour of more than full time work that will last just over a month. I am not going to have time to post much at all. I hope you will not forget me or think less of me because of it. I will be working my hours plus some of a worker’s hours who is going to Brisbane, Australia to spend the holidays with her son who is going to school there. She worked some of my shifts while I was with mom and dad.
C.Harris: Please be careful during those bitter cold days and nights.
Mollypop: Glad the ski hill got lots of snow.
Enjoyed the cards and videos that were posted. Rio I haven’t received any cards either…but then, I haven’t really sent cards or celebrated Christmas for years. Unless I happen to be in the States with Staff…and then she makes me. Or at the hospital where I am one of Santa’s elves.
Now I have to go get the snow off the car so I can get some groceries
12:52 pm on December 18th, 2010
Macy MinPin: That picture is very festive…and cute.
Rio: That picture of the quilling in the frame looks even more fantastic because you can see the 3 dimensional aspect more clearly. Your grandma will be proud to receive it.
12:53 pm on December 18th, 2010
Dawson!… I probably will think a lot less of you and then totally forget you when you are away…snort!…Silly! Of course not because you are one of the few and the brave that make up part of our community…grunt!… All those others, well it’s their loss. I just hate to see SiberH get all excited about having new Husky friends and then they disappear, sort of like his toffee…heh!
1:05 pm on December 18th, 2010
Macy, Love the picture. Barb has never been able to get me in sunglasses. I posted early this a.m. What is GPU? We thought maybe Grumpy Pug something.
Barb is back from shopping but almost ready for a nap.
1:09 pm on December 18th, 2010
sniff…thanks Rio. No new Husky friends or toffee, but I did get SNOW and Santa is coming!
Cute photo, Macy. You really are a knockout in those pink sunglasses.
1:22 pm on December 18th, 2010
Rio: Oh, I see…dear Rio. Our own Siber H. has shown us to be very adaptable. It would be cool to have a sled dog team. Especially if there is a trip to the far North happening. By the way, I can be a stop-over on the way. I’m about half-way to C. Harris’ place.
1:24 pm on December 18th, 2010
Riö: I thought that work of art was great and THEN you said it was in an 8 X 10 inch box??? Goodness, that makes it even more beautifully intricut.
Hi Dawson! Glad you’re back safe. I seemed to have missed Riö’s soapbox. (that’s okay with me)
Good MagPie!
Macy, the Pink Sunglasses make the picture.
So far on my list of things to do today, I have one thing marked off. (rolling eyes here)
1:24 pm on December 18th, 2010
Rio: The framed picture is wonderful. Thank you for posting it.
Thanks for the cute card Macy.
Dawson: I’ll miss you. Hope you can check in sometimes.
Where is TYB?
1:27 pm on December 18th, 2010
Melanie: I think you need to slow down…just a bit…for a little while.
I’m baking cranberry-orange nut bread…my favorite tea bread.

1:37 pm on December 18th, 2010
Brrrr.
-16 (F) or -27 (C). The old car started up! At C.Harris’ temperatures, I think my car would be froze in until spring thaw. I wish I had a garage…heated.
1:49 pm on December 18th, 2010
You are going to have to find the boots, Dawson. Mom had to find hers because of the SNOW so she can chase me around the yard when I won’t come in the house. I had to go out and pee at 2 am last night and then I wouldn’t come back in the house and mom had to catch me. Mom was not amused. I thought it was pretty funny, myself. We still have a lot of snow left, which is a surprise.
Mom put our little tree up on Thanksgiving Day. She only has three Xmas cards left to do and then she can think about Christmas dinner. Forget the cards and start planning my Christmas dinner, I say.
1:52 pm on December 18th, 2010
Macy and Biddie – You look great!
Mom and I dropped in to visit Tyb and he is working very hard right now. His charities are taking all of his time. I do hope he keeps reading even if he doesn’t have time to post.
1:53 pm on December 18th, 2010
Macy, that photo would make a cute Christmas card for dog people.

I give up for now
3:12 pm on December 18th, 2010
B.Stover: I have now given up on the list. I just kept adding to it. Jeez.
BUT, I did order Dan’s iPad! Also a case and a full size keyboard. Now when he comes home he can be on the recliner and do all sorts of iPody things. Including Pages, which is write.
The Pack has been barking at the practicing cross country skiers.
I don’t understand why the CCSs just don’t go up to the parks and go cross country skiing? There’s SNOW on the ground.
The Pack do NOT like fast moving, weird sounding wheeled humans with weapon sticks.
I’m thinking ski bumps! (maybe beavers would make good speed bumps, snicker)
Anyhoo, Going to put some decorations on the tree and say,
“Heck with the list, bring on the eggnog!” non-alchoholic, of course.
Macy: Love the Shepard in the Manger. The other pic shows up but is very, very small.
Please have consideration for those of us who have lost our minds. What is GPU?
3:14 pm on December 18th, 2010
Siber H: I’m laughing at you frolicking in the snow at 2 a.m. last night. I hope it lasts a little while so you can play it it…during the day.

Grumpy Pug Ubermensch?
3:34 pm on December 18th, 2010
Macy, We’re with Melanie, we don’t understand GPU either, Even if you don’t think it is very challenging!
Rio, We do love your friend’s art work.
3:38 pm on December 18th, 2010
Macy said GPU was an anagram so it is PUG!
3:39 pm on December 18th, 2010
Rio, How many hours did it take to make the current piece for Grandma?
Macy, we get that GPU are the letters of PUG, but what else does it mean?
3:51 pm on December 18th, 2010
We had discussed the pro/con of having more Suzie but I think we are all agreed that we need more Iggy.
Dawson: nice hearing from you. How can you lose winter boots? I can seeing losing a hat or a glove but boots? I hope you have a pair of thick, warm socks.
The first thing I did when I had the money was build a garage. I was starting each day in a bad mood after spending 20 minutes scrapping ice and snow off the car. The garage is big enough for 2 cars plus storage/work cabinets on 2 sides and down the middle. It is strange to me that people have garages that end up so full of stuff that they can’t park a car in it.
Siber-H: I saw a beautiful malamute this morning. They sure are gorgeous dogs but they need a lot of brushing.
4:05 pm on December 18th, 2010
Mollypop is so smart. Anagram folks…from the Greek for transpose.
Melanie: I’m so excited about Dan’s iPad! It will be a surprise for him right? I wish I wasn’t waiting until April to get one. However, I broke down and bought one of the new Kindles.
Just received another dvd from Netflix.
4:09 pm on December 18th, 2010
Barb here. I just read my Shepherd’s Call newsletter/mag, and there was in interesting article in there about a dog named Ryker, who was a rescue from a shelter in Ky. He was going to be euthanized, but fortunately he ended up getting help from Natl.Eng.Shepherd Rescue, and ended up being fostered in Ks. Finally adopted by a lady named Teri from Ks., who has horses and 2 other dogs. Here is an excerpt from the article:
“My kids tease that Ryker is the only animal that I’ve given a middle name. Ryker is officially Ryker Chet Kraft. The Chet comes from the dog in the Spencer Quinn novels. I think Mr. Quinn might have crossed paths with Ryker and based his dog character on him”.
Well, maybe yes, maybe no, but what a great compliment to Chet (and Ryker). Maybe Ryker and his friend will join us on the blog! Rio would love it if we had another ES here, right Rio?
4:14 pm on December 18th, 2010
That’s a great article Barb. Thanks for posting it.
4:20 pm on December 18th, 2010
C.Harris: Thanks for mentioning hats and gloves. I have a box of those that were stored in the basement and my lightweight boots were with those. My heavy duty Sorel boots for your kind of severe weather were in a big box on the top shelf of the closet behind a bunch of other shoe boxes. I haven’t used them for a few years.
4:27 pm on December 18th, 2010
STOP THE PRESSES!! I got my toffee today! The Pony Express got it safely through the marauding goats. I am still going to keep my goat hunting license that I bought at Walmart today. I know the goats are the cause of the delay.
Wolfie and Wolfie’s Mom, Thank You so very much. The toffee is Super Delish and the card is adorable…just our kind of card. It was very thoughtful of you to do this.
I hope Gus&BooBear get their toffee today.
4:36 pm on December 18th, 2010
Yep, I agree that more Iggy would be fine.
Malamutes are beautiful dogs, but, yes, so much hair. Malamutes are not nearly as speedy as us Siberians and don’t have the endurance we do, but they are experts at pulling freight.
That is a cute article, Barb. Thank goodness for breed rescues and all rescues.
4:36 pm on December 18th, 2010
Siber, Did you get a pop up card with 3 dogs inside? That was the one we got, and Barb loves that card!
4:39 pm on December 18th, 2010
Yes, that is the card! It is sooo cute!
4:43 pm on December 18th, 2010
Good…SH received his toffee.
5:07 pm on December 18th, 2010
Grump!…And more Grump!….snort!… I know I’ve been in a bad mood for days, but now she is in a really bad mood too…grunt!… She’s grumpy because we went over to her mothers for lunch and her mom was all crying and stuff over some old photos…sniff!… So this put her in a sniffle mood too. We get home and she has been trying to do the photo collage thing, but that just isn’t working out at all…grumble!…Wasted photo paper and lots of time gone….growl!…Our books aren’t here yet and that is really pissing her off as well….yelp!
Movie!…We’ve decided we need to calm down and watch a Christmas movie….snort!…The Bishops Wife came yesterday so we are going to stop stressing out and take it easy for awhile… yeep!yeep!
5:13 pm on December 18th, 2010
Sister!… Oh, I forgot the part where when we got home her crazy sister in Iowa called her and Demanded that she open her Christmas gift this very minute!….growl!… My friend refused and her sister got even more belligerent and so my friend hung up on her… heh!…But that pretty much put her over the top with being mad and grumpy!… gruffle!…Oooop, the movie is starting, I need to go comfort someone and nip her earlobes…snort!
5:15 pm on December 18th, 2010
Just checking in after being away for too long. I’m really impressed with the quilling and have enjoyed the pictures that have been posted over the last couple of days.

We do make it a point to read every day, but as Mollypop said, I’ve been extremely busy with my charities. Today I worked extra hard helping Santa. He visited our store so that the kids could have their pictures taken with him if they gave a donation to our Blou Christmas project. I had to entertain all the youngsters who had to wait to see Santa. I’m delighted to say that most of the children were excited to see me and play for a while when they were waiting. There was only one little girl who wasn’t at all interested because she is afraid of dogs. I have to admit that it was more play than work for me. I love the little ones and being with them certainly made the day go by fast. Before he left, Santa asked me to sit with him so that he could have a picture of us together. That made me feel good. I hope he gives Blou a good report on me when he gets back to the North Pole. I wonder whether Blou will be pulling the sleigh again this year.
5:22 pm on December 18th, 2010
The picture of the little shepherd in the manger with the baby Jesus reminds me of one that I saw in Blou’s scrapbook. I think it was on a Christmas card he sent out a few years ago.

5:26 pm on December 18th, 2010
Love the pictures guys! Glad you checked in, TYB.
Have to go help Barb with the cookies. My job is to put front paws on the counter and see if I can score a cookie while her back is turned. BBL
5:37 pm on December 18th, 2010
Here’s one of my favorite pictures of the day. Obviously the Santa experience wasn’t

exciting for everyone.
5:42 pm on December 18th, 2010
MagPie!… Good luck with the cookie snatching…snort!… I envy you so much to be able to reach the top of the counter…grunt!… She’s not making cookies this year….sigh!
5:46 pm on December 18th, 2010
Rio,
I have a special card that I’d like to send to you, and I’d even include a cookie if I knew how to get it to you. Mollypop knows how to get to many of the bloggers, but
she couldn’t help me with contacting you. Do you want a cookie? That sounds like something a perp might say, doesn’t it?
6:10 pm on December 18th, 2010
B – How do you like the newest Kindle? Mom bought one for Sam’s Mom a few months ago and was amazed at how much lighter the 3.0 was over Mom’s 2.0. I believe you are upgrading from the 1.0 which is a big step.
Tyb’s Dad just got the Kindle 3.0 too.
6:19 pm on December 18th, 2010
Tibb!… I would very much love to have a cookie…snort!snort!…I’ve been known to beg for cookies for hours and hours on end! But I am not allowed to give out our address on the blog…grunt!… To many of those creepy lurkers out there in the shadows….snuff!…Lot of weirdo types sneaking around you know….cough!… Maybe I can arrange something through Agent Molly, she is very resourceful….snuffle!
6:31 pm on December 18th, 2010
Rio – Email me your postal address. You’ll like what Tyb has for you, if the marauding goats don’t get it first – like your friend’s new quilling books. They’re goners, you know.
I’m off to a friend’s house for dinner.
6:35 pm on December 18th, 2010
I’m with you 100% on your reservation to sending an address on the blog. That’s why I didn’t just ask for it. But I hear from Mollypop that you’re so clever, I thought that if I threw out the idea, you could probably come up with a solution. Let’s work on it. I think though that you’ll like the card better than the cookie. It’s special for you.
7:08 pm on December 18th, 2010
Mr. Tibbs!… I’ve been so grumpy lately, I hardly expect a gift from anyone, and especially not a newbie on the blog…snort!… I do appreciate you thinking of me and all…snuff!… I don’t know that I deserve it, my friend and I are just trying with all our might to get through the Christmas holidays without too much damage…. sob!… Your generosity is very welcome and she said that I should give Agent Molly our address, because we trust Agent Molly totally….gruff!…Even though she parties way too much!…heh!
7:31 pm on December 18th, 2010
Trust me, Rio. When you get the card, you will have no regrets. It’s made especially for you. You’ll treasure it. By the way, you could conserve energy by typing three strokes rather than five. The name is Tyb! Maybe I’m being egocentric. I apologize if there is a Mr. Tibbs out there that wants to send you a cookie too.
7:36 pm on December 18th, 2010
Skating!… Ho! Ho! We just watched our favorite part of the movie….snort!…The ice skating rink where Sylvester the Cab Driver does the amazing scene where he cannot skate, but he really can with the help of Dudly the Angel… heh!…What a great movie! We are feeling much better already and may even get some Christmas cards written before the evening is over…snort!
Stover!…How did your bread come out today?…sniff!sniff!… The name sounded wonderful!…grunt!
7:47 pm on December 18th, 2010
Blou looks like he’s really part of the manger scene!
Love the pictures all. I got 3/4 of the tree done (the Pack helped a bit).
I found a metal Landseer Newfoundland ornament that someone had given us a long time ago. I took a black sharpie and made it into an Irish Spotted Newf!
Zoë really liked it. I think the dogs just liked the smell of the sharpie. Rose got a little loopy, so I put the ornament out of nose reach.
YSAS now has a train ticket to come home. Four trains were already sold out on the day he wanted to come. But he will be here the 23rd.
B.Stover: I had the iPad inscribed on the back. Dan’s name and then under that Author. I think he’ll really like that.
7:48 pm on December 18th, 2010
TYB!… That name you have now is just the first letters of “Thank You Blou”….grunt!….Isn’t that called an Acronym? To me, that’s not a real name, so on the blog I will call you Mr. Tibbs….snort!… If you don’t like this I will call you “hey you” or Nosewad. …snorkel!…That last name has been abandoned by someone else…heh!
Christmas!… One week till Christmass 2010….wheeze!… How can this be?
7:49 pm on December 18th, 2010
Been writing a little something for Christmas and between that and looking at my last comment, I realize that when I’m tired, my sentence phrasing goes out the window!
7:52 pm on December 18th, 2010
Dearest Dawson we could never forget you posts or not ! I am also an infrequent poster but an everyday reader! Sometimes people need to be motivated to post (maybe we’re shy.) Well not really but…party on plunderers! Christmas and then New Year’s Eve – wheeeeeeeeeeee
7:53 pm on December 18th, 2010
Mollypop: I ordered the new Kindle from Amazon and it should come next week. I’ll let you know.
Barb: I think you suggested that I watch Temple Grandin. I am on HBO On Demand.
7:56 pm on December 18th, 2010
Noswad not Nosewad. Sheesh!
7:57 pm on December 18th, 2010
I like that scene too, River, I mean City, I mean
Reckless Insubordinate . . . “Oh, Johnny came over the other day,
Way, Rio!
Oh, Johnny came over the other day,
For we’re bound for the Rio Grand!”
8:02 pm on December 18th, 2010
Bee, Yes, Temple G. and Something the Lord Made were both HBO movies, I think. We liked the 2nd one better, but I think as an educator you will especially like Temple. She is about 63 now, so knowledge of autism has come a long way since she was in school. Let us know what you think.
8:06 pm on December 18th, 2010
Rio,
I have no problem with Mr. Tibbs; as a matter of fact, I rather like it. Funny that you should suggest Hey you as an alternative. That is exactly what my dad was thinking of calling me. I do like Tyb though.
B.
I just got a Kindle; I hope you will be as happy with yours as I am with mine. I thought I’d be saving some money with the kindle because most of the kindle books are priced at about 1/2 the price of the hard cover. The problem is that 1/2 price seems like such a bargain that I buy twice as many. It’s great too, because if I get tired reading one book, I push a button and get another one. I have three going now. You’ll love it, I’m sure.

Zoë read one of TG’s books and watched the movie. I think OTAS told her it was good. She liked it. Have no idea where I was . . .
finding out I could have used Iggy today. A small dog to fetch all those things out of my reach. My back is saying Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey!

Melanie,
Blou was such an angel that I believe that he could have, in fact, been a part of the original manger scene.

TYB: I have a first generation Kindle and I do love it. The search engine and the dictionary are great.

TYB, Dogs have such a good sense of humor, Blou could have been and never let your friend know.
There is a Dean Koontz book (I read it so long ago, I don’t remember the name nor the plot) that had an alien that could give to humans the gift of seeing and feeling of dog dreams. Dog dreams were full of the good “Other”.
Pretty cool. I met a puppy today called Gunner. His mom said, “I don’t believe this and it can’t be true, but I think that puppy might be my father-in-law.” She said that the whole family felt it. And when they were talking about it last night Gunner looked at her and winked.
Who can tell?

Barb and MagPie: Jeez, I hadn’t thought of that . . . Laughing. Hmm. If he were alive?? Whoa, what if he had a brain transplant. I don’t think brain transplants are quite in yet, though if I were going to have a brain transplant . . .
No, I think I’d like to be downloaded into a dog’s brain, have all the fun, but not bother him/her at all. In fact, Rose has a lot of static in her head, maybe someone tried an experiment on her??
Naw, just exhaustion on my part.
Dawson, trying to take your advice to heart tomorrow.

Rio, we will go after those goats if they get your books.
My mom is not very good husky “owner”, she just thinks she is. She can’t stand the thought of it being cold and the snow being wet and me out there unsupervised in the dark. I try to humor her as best I can, but last night was too much fun. It took her a long time to catch me.

Sounds like Chet misses his old friend Iggeroni. As a guardian of dachsies I can verify that they are coniving and gutsy little guys. I’ll send you a picture of our Chuckie doing the same “jump in the wagon” routine.
